Got their card from Joe's Tire so I hadn't read any recommendations about this business. So, they've had my car since last Monday! Just to balance one rim and brush out the scratches on another ... I haven't had my car for a week, and this is their Business, right? They talked with my husband who casually agrees with them that my car won't be finished before the weekend ... not happy ! My husband gives me the 3rd degree when I ask him to drive me to Target and my daughter tells me I should have called an Uber !!! Message from customer service a week after ordering and paying: "Sorry, for the late response here as we have been trying to locate a set of these wheels. Unfortunately our specials page has not been updated since Jan 8th 2021 and the wheels we did have were sold. We do apologize, but we are not able to source a set of these for the same value as what we originally did 2 years ago." So everyone that comes to our shop knows we always do our best to provide quality repairs. After 10 plus years I recently had to find a new company to refinish damaged wheels. I found Wheel Collision Center in Bath and sent them our wheel to get repaired. Wheel Collision Center ended up improperly attempting to repair this wheel. They overcut the machine finish, which ended up damaging the wheel beyond repair. The pockets got smaller and the machine cut on the lip actually angled in instead of being straight. I expressed my concerns to Kevin and he said he would get me another wheel. The other wheel arrived a few days later and once again was not a quality repaired wheel. The cutting process chipped the color in the pockets and was once again damaged beyond repair. Kevin insists these are quality wheels, when you can obviously see in the photos they are not. After 2 attempts, and 1.5 Weeks of lost time we demanded they furnish us with a new wheel. He denied our request per the owner's direction. So now the vehicle owner had to incur the cost of a new wheel because they are incapable of performing quality repairs. That's not how you conduct business properly. They damaged a repairable wheel, they had 2 chances to make good and messed up, they owe a new wheel. I bought a set of Mercedes wheels from Kim over the phone who was very nice. It took a little over two weeks to get the wheels and was excited to get them on the car. After having them on the car a couple of weeks I noticed spots where the paint was bubbling off. I've worked on cars for a long time and have had things painted. It's simply where the surface wasn't prepped properly. The wheels have a limited lifetime warranty so I gave Kim a call. This is where the review turns negative. I explained the problem to Kim and she immediately said it would be covered under warranty if it's not from damage. I sent her the pictures that I will post on here. She showed the owner and said they can't tell from the pictures but it looks like damage and that I put touch up paint on the wheels. What they called touch up paint is their paint bubbling off. The solution they came up with is for me to take the wheels off my wife's car. We have two small Kids as well that need to get around. I guess let it sit on jack stands for the week to ship them up there and however long to get it back. Pay for shipping both ways and most likely have them tell me it's damaged when it's clearly not. I was disappointed how they immediately turned on me and accused me of damaging the wheels. I'm a professional with a wife and family. I simply don't think it's acceptable that the wheels we purchased have the paint peeling off after two weeks of use. The amount of money and time that it would take me to get the wheels to them is not worth the risk of them saying it's damaged and not fixing anything. read more

Repaired a wheel for my mom, fixed it same day and for a reasonable price. Absolutely no complaints, highly recommend this business.

I had cracked one of my wheels so I brought it to Wheel Collision Center to repair it. Drove about an hour each way and waited for them to "fix" it only to have the wheel crack in the exact same spot after a short period of time. They charged me over $230 only for the wheel to crack again in the exact same spot. What a waste of money and time. Also, the repair they did was unsafe. The crack that formed on their "repair" was so large that it was at risk of a blowout. I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I went to Wheel Collision Center on recommendations from others. I dropped off a set of wheels for refinishing, new tires, mounting, and balancing. Kevin, the manager, was working on the Saturday I dropped them off. He was less than cordial, and seemed annoyed to be working that day. I thought maybe the guy was having a bad day. When I rolled them in the back door, I asked if they only spot treated curb rash, and Kevin assured me that they remove the old tires, make sure the rims are true and refinish the entire rim. Initially the rims looked great, until I got them home and looked at them in bright sunlight. The back of the rims looked like only some of the rim was powder coated, and the edge of the rims looked like they were laid down when the paint was wet. At closer inspection, the front of the rims were heavy with powder coating and one of the rims looked like it was shot with less tinted clear coat. Overall, a very sloppy job from a highly regarded business. I took the rims to two other shops and they both remarked that it was sloppy work. I ended up having the rims refinished from another shop and they turned out great, and was 25% less than WCC. I called and asked Kevin about the rear of the rims and he said, "you never asked to have the rears done and that's the way we do it". In the end, I asked for a rebate and to talk to the owner. It took three phones calls to Kevin and four weeks to get a $120.00 rebate after spending over $900.00 for refinishing and new tires. And the owner never returned my call. If you want less than professional work, and to be treated like you're a bother, this is your place! read more

I had a terrible experience doing business with Wheel Collision Center. You agree to one price, prior, then when you go to pay, many significant additional fees and charges are added on, when presented the final invoice, that you are not made aware of nor agree too. Extremely unprofessional. When I protested them, I'm told we have to pay our employee's or don't you get this concept. I plan to report this business to the BBB. Also employ a small claims court resolution in attempt to right this wrong. USE CAUTION : As many other reviews posted are negative. I'm very satisfied with Wheel Collision Center. Last time in I had 4 wheels straightened with 2 needing cracks repaired. They did the work and mounted 4 new tires in about 1 hour. The car felt and drove totally different after the work. My car and I were treated with respect and I was allowed to approve the quality of the repair prior to the tires being mounted. I've bought a set of refurbished OEM wheels for my 2001 Acura. They arrived literally appearing like new!! I couldn't be happier!

They refinished a set of wheels for my John Cooper Works Mini in white. Within 3 mos the clear coat was flaking off multiple wheels in many spots. They would not stand by their work saying it was road wear. Large flakes of clear coat coming off is NOT road wear. It is a poor finishing process. I would not suggest anyone have their wheels finished here. I should have pushed for the owner but left it at the manager as she was very kurt / flippant about the whole situation and I assume that is their culture. Even from my first words to her about my concern she stated right off the bat that they did not cover road wear. This is obviously what they use to not back their work. My wheels had zero rash or abuse. I paid too much to have the work done to not be very careful with them. I am also VERY much an auto enthusiast who takes great care of his toys. It was VERY obvious that there was a problem with the work done and not an isolated spot. The wheels were flaking all over. ‼ I post this only in hope that it saves someone else from wasted money and disappointment. You have been warned! read more

I found these guys through Tire Rack. I had a flat and needed a new tire mounted. Low and Behold I found out they could straighten a bent rim. I had one and it was annoying to get that rim balanced. I called and spoke to Kim who told me no charge to look at my rim. I gave it to them and less than a day they they had a quote. They finished the job in less than 24 hours, mounted my new tire that I had dropped shipped to them and balanced it. I have yet to take it out on the highway and high speed but I did recently test it at 50mph and my shimmy was gone. I wish I had found them years ago. (As a ref my OEM GM rim would have cost me over $700 to replace.) Thank you staff. read more

I have used this company 3 times. The first time was great. The second time was ok however the 3rd time I took them my Ferrari wheel to have the outer lip refinished. They called me after a week to pick it up and when I got there it wasn't finished. They apologized and said they would ship it when finished. Three weeks later i received it. The outer lip was finished however the inner sidewall had a 5" slice in it which they told was there when I took it in and I know it wasnt. They mounted it that way and they charged me for the mounting, balancing and refinish work. The wheel also is scratched on the backside now from mounting and it wasnt before. Tire obviously wasn't balanced because it wont balance because of the damaged tire. The tire has 2000 miles on it. I left a message on their machine telling them I was unhappy and they never bothered calling me back. Needless to say something has changed with this company in the past year with the quality of their service. read more

Came in with wheel damage, had a wheel rotated to the rear. Wheel was so overtightened that my wheel lock key stripped/deformed, when breaking lose with breaker bar. They gotta slow down with the impact wrench or at least use a calibrated torque stick read more

Wish I could've had as good of an experience as previous posters. I found this place online after reading several people praise their work. I sent two aftermarket polished wheels to them to have straightened and refinished. Charged almost 800 bucks which I thought was a little pricey. No biggie though if the work is great. Received my wheels back with major scratches on the inner aspect of both wheels which were not that way when I sent them out. I emailed them and told them about the damage...no response. Called them and they bargained with me at first and the woman starting raising her tone asking "well what do you want us to do?" They also told me they hire a third party to do the polishing on their wheels and attempted to blame them. Said she would speak to management and get back to me. Never did. Filed a complaint with the better business bureau which was ignored after they attempted to contact them six times. Incredibly disappointed with this company for not standing by their work and owning up to their mistake. They offered zero resolution to the problem and never returned any of my phone calls or emails. Disgraceful customer service. If you have rare wheels you truly value I highly caution you before sending them to these crooks. read more

The wheels balanced perfectly, and the ride was as smooth as a marble on a glass surface. The forward facing side of the wheels were refinished beautifully. The forward facing side of the wheels were refinished beautifully, in a HyperSilver finish. I was surprised (disappointed) to see that the entire wheel was not powder coated/painted in HyperSilver, but I guess there are (cost) economies of scale. I was equally surprised to see that the edge of the rear facing lip of the wheel was not finished smoothly and evenly. All in all, Wheel Collision Center delivered a high quality product, and did a very admirable job refinishing all four wheels. I would go to Wheel Collision Center first, for wheel refinishing in the future, but, I now know to ask them to produce a wheel with a smooth rear facing lip, and to powder coat the entire wheel - - to produce a true, "like new" wheel. read more

I curbed a wheel and needed it repaired. When I went up there to drop it off, the one salesman gave me an attitude and was rude right off the bat. I dropped the wheel off with a center cap installed on it, when I got it back, my center cap was missing. I told the guy that I didn't get it back, he looked around and said I must have left it at home. Funny thing is that the paperwork has 1 center cap circled, then crossed off like it never happened. Plus I remember leaving it on there. When I got home and unwrapped it, I noticed it was nowhere close to matching the stock wheel color. I called and they said they would redo them. So after the second time of doing them I look at it and it still don't match. I even gave them a stock wheel off my car to hold onto to match the color. I honestly don't think they even did anything to it. Looks the same as the first time they did it. Probably took it back, kept it for 4 days, then gave it back. They cannot match color at all. Go someplace else if you need a wheel matched. This company tricks it's customers and has poor quality control. I will never recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more
