Well, i take my kids out to eat every sunday when i can, they were looking forward to this . Me!? Not so much i rather jave a juicy burgerking big burger! anywho, we order and park for curvside 15 minutes into waiting only our drinks come out, than... 25 min waiting 30 , 45 minutes waiting no food yet. Go inside asking when is my food coming ! My kids finished their drink already, food is sitting on counter all cold and manager was not content by this guys forgetting to take our food out. Get your act together ill never go back they aint the cheapest as in to be receiving cold ass food and shtty service! Anywho i did submit a complaint and they granted a full refund! I'm sure the reason this establishment stays in business is because it is a Whataburger and it is in Texas. Location helps, because this one is in a Walmart anchored location. I've stopped here several times when visiting Mineola and sometimes I get five star service and sometimes I get one star service so, I am averaging three stars. I think the presence of a well rounded manager increases the likelihood of good service, otherwise you may need to wait a while for your properly prepared Whata-meal. read more

Just a review about the service: 12/08 -- 11:20 PM -- Whoever worked the Drive-Thru Window for this shift, needs to be fired/replaced/disciplined. Absolutely zero manners and did not even complete the order. It was a mobile order put in ahead of time and was missing items. Dear What-A-Bully-Burger, the food was great as usual and the service was as normal. With that being said, let's now get to the reason why you are reading this review. My fellow friend (Australian) plays football at the college level and his mom (from Australia who hasn't seen him in 3 years) came to visit him to watch him play for his couple of games of his career (potentially). We went to Bully Burger and they handed us his number which is a one and 100 chance. His mom wanted to keep that number (aka .50 cent product) which I know your not supposed to keep but we asked to keep it instead of stealing it and because she's going by back to the mother land and wanted some type of souvenir for her way back home to remember that moment. We asked the nice worker if we could have it and she said she would ask the manger. The no fun manager said no and the mom was heart broken. Might have ruined her trip. She's still recovering from that bully management. Now she's gunna go to Australia and talk bad about Whataburger to all her "mates" and give it a bad reputation to her country. All of Australia is gunna hate Whataburger now over that. I hope she recovers from this and doesn't let it affect her mentality. I wish I could convince management of fast food establishments to require their employees to wear clean and pressed shirts and smocks when facing the public. I don't know why I keep going here. Must be the fond memories from years past. Besides the super clean restrooms this place has terribly slow service. One breakfast taquito takes them about 15 minutes to crank out. There are usually 7-8 employees with about four of them standing there trying their hardest not to make eye contact with you as you wait for someone to help you. Went through the drive thru the other day and ordered a #5 with cheese and Mayo all the way, add jalepeno, got all the way home and there was no bacon on the burger, so I called up there and told them and she wrote my name down and said when I come back they will replace the whole meal just as I had ordered it, so today I called and told them my name and i was on my way, read off everything to them that i had on my last order, this time I got home and there was no cheese nor jalapeños on the burger, ehhhh go figure read more

How is it possible that people can forget to bag something you ordered EVERY SINGLE TIME!? The food is good (when I get everything I ordered) and the staff is usually friendly. I am so sick of the non caring and inefficient service from the restaurant in Mineola. If the kids working here do not care enough to get the order correct why are they there. You have to ask fo everything as far as napkins, salt n pepper n ketchup and anything that goes with breakfast. We stopped going to What A Burger because they quit doing our fries well done, even if we asked the cashier to remind them. We decide to give it another try and I'm sorry to say, it was not enjoyable. My hamburger was barely warm and of course our fries were limp and not warm at all. So so so disappointing!!! read more

The most hateful managers I have ever seen This store has a couple little girls who are the best. they work so hard to try to take care of customers. We go every day at 0530 am to be met with a smile and a good morning. When at 6am when the new crew comes in the atmosphere just goes to hell. You cannot place your orders now for the system is changing shifts at 6 am when people are trying to get food on the way to work. The morning managers are just so rude to customers and down right mean to other employee while they stand around an do nothing. Will not even help customers standing in line waiting to place an order they just yell and the poor girls (front counter and drive through). I feel so sorry for the girls who are doing their best to take care of us and to see them leave in tears a two or three times week is just absolute crazy. The worst people I have ever seen in charge. I have spoken to the morning little lady manager who is a kid about service an my orders always messed up after 6 am and she said so and walked off. The man manager would not even come out and talk to us. I wish there was something else open that early in Mineola Texas other than Whataburger. I'm a Whataburger connoisseur & not ashamed of it! I ate lunch at this store recently & was impressed. The order taker was pleasant & obviously knew something about customer service. My burger was not only exactly as I ordered it but was also made exactly like a Whataburger is supposed to be (meaning the condiments, etc., were perfect in their proportion). The fries were hot & salted just right. The dining area as well as bathrooms were clean. As a whole it was an excellent dining experience. The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is because no place is perfect. I highly recommend this Whataburger. read more

I recently had lunch at this location and could not believe the meat inside the Whataburger which resembled a thin piece of cardboard. I have to give them kudos on their breakfast taquitos which continue to be good. The staff is awesome and keep the place very clean. read more

I made the mistake of coming here for breakfast. It took forever to get the order done and when I finally did get my extra large cup of coffee it was so hot I couldn't drink it so I held it for a while and it was extremely hot in the cup I moved a little bit and it's built on my arm and my leg and my arm is scalded I don't think it could have been worse the coffee or the service here it is 2 hours later and my arm is still burning from a scalding of the coffee. I received a call from general manager who was quite concerned about the blisters that I have on my arm from the from the coffee. I accepted her apology as she's the general manager and will speak to the the child that so rudely told me so what. It was explained to me about the water not being hot enough for the health services but that was the water heater had nothing to do with the coffee so we'll see what happens this lady was generally concern and she said she's going to call me back I feel like they deserve a second chance. read more
