Located inside a gas station, but don't let this intimidate you, Mr T has some finger licking catfish baskets. I ordered the 2 piece and they made it fresh which took about 10 minutes with no line. Fries and catfish were seasoned to perfection and not over or under seasoned at all like other places. The pieces were a good size and I like the toast that was buttery too. Includes a small bag of pickles and jalapeños to make this a complete and tasty meal. Ketchup is included but didn't see a napkin. I can definitely see myself coming back for more .

I've seen advertisements for Beef-a-Roo for a while and pass by this location frequently, so I decided to give it a try. The customer service was great, and the menu offers a good variety of options, including chicken, beef, and pork. On this visit, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. I prefer a Buffalo sandwich that is fully coated in sauce, but this one seemed like the sauce was simply added on top. The chicken itself was average, and the bun was noticeably larger than the chicken portion. On a positive note, the fries and lemonade were both above average and helped balance out the meal. While this visit wasn't a home run, it wasn't a total miss either. I'd be willing to give Beef-a-Roo another try in the future, but I'd likely order a different menu item next time.

But they only had it during the week, and with us working during the week and staying almost 30min. Away it wasn't doable. We ordered a lot of food as usual because we like to try everything overall between both places we paid about 95-ish dollars. The food and wait was worth it per usual, but the ATTITUDES at both places weren't, I let my bf order once I peeped, to avoid getting pissed off further. they can also practice safe food handling at the burger place.. I witnessed her wearing her gloves to write on the box, handle the food, touch cups to make drinks, walk to the other restaurant with the same gloves on and walk back, now while she didn't touch anything on the other side it's the principal.. At J's international when the food was ready, our name was called, and she let us look at the food to make sure it was right. The reason for the rating is because of the attitudes I didn't drive almost 30min. To feel like you don't want to work and be bothered today. Buttttt hey the music was a plus I was jammin for the most part!

I asked the scanning tech working in the Cardiology Clinic who was working with me if by any chance she had eaten there . She acknowledged that she had and the food is prepared according to your request. After my appointment the next step before heading home was at Phat Matt's . It was dark wasn't sure they were opened. The open sign was lit . I turned the door handle to go inside . It was a small place dark with chairs and a table or two . Gave off vibes you can sit while you wait for you order to be prepared but once ready paid for proceed out the door you came in. . There wasn't any customers inside just a young man probably no more than 22 working by himself. The menu is posted on the wall in colorful chalk written by someone with a nice penmanship. My eyes focused on the catfish category on the wall. Oh before I forget its a "Cash Only" business . I had to look inside my wristlet to make sure I had money to pay for my meal. Some of the chalk writing was smeared . I learned the cook on duty when I visited was named Jacoby. He was average height thin he looked a little tired or maybe lacking some energy. He came to the counter to see if I was ready to place my order. I responded I was . I started out stating for me what I didn't want. On my 3pc catfish basket I did not want any hushpuppies or a slice of white bread cut in half or possibly toasted to be included. I didn't time Jacoby but its wasn't too long of a wait . I asked him if I could take pictures of the menu in case I wanted to stop by again if the food was good after my next appointment at the VA The food was smelling good nice and hot . My food was in a little paper basket inside a white paper bag . I grabbed a few napkins nearby. There was a tip jar in the counter . I left a couple of dollars as I picked up my order inside the white bag he had gently placed on the counter. Thank God for safe traveling grace and arriving mercies to my home . I stopped by QT on my way home to get a large frozen coke . Surprisedly the food was still pretty hot from my nineteen miles journey. I forgot to request my fish be fried hard paper on the side of the basket . I smelled it strongly from the moment I picked up my order from the counter. Fries were nestled under the three flaky crispy filets. The fries were soft kinda soggy but edible. I was able to eat this meal and enjoy for a couple of days . I plan to stop by again whenever I have my next appointment at the VA. Chef's ‍ kiss
