i am constantly having issues with this location that id rather drive further to another location then this location a minute away from home. today i went and asked for a 5 piece chicken bites plain with buffalo sauce on the side. the young man working the drive through charged me for a 9 piece and i was kind enough to just leave it be and eat a 9 piece instead. i wait a couple minutes for my meal and when i get home i realize they gave me my chicken tossed in sauce instead of how i asked for it and only gave me 5 pieces. i paid 7 dollars extra only to still get a 5 piece that wasn't even prepared in the way i asked. read more

I was given the wrong order on 12/31, so I called to let manager know for a remake another day since it was late. I called in order to pick up, and it was still a long wait. There's 2 other Whataburger not that far from here. I recommend doing the drive and going to one of the others. Their service is not the best but it can't be this bad. Ordered food through the app at 240pm. Arrived at 300pm and checked in. Only 1 car in the window and empty parking lot. I figured they should finally not mess this up. Boy was I wrong. Car in the window sat there for about 15 minutes (who knows how long they've been waiting before I got there). While waiting more cars got in the drive thru pick up window. One car even just drove off after waiting nearly 10 more minutes. The manager finally brings me my food after 20 minutes of waiting. I asked for ketchup and she clearly lied to my face and said there's regular and spicy in the bag. No ketchup for 3 orders of larger fries or even napkins. This place gives Whataburger a bad name. I'd rather go to In & Out. (I'm ashamed to say that) Went to the drive thru and asked for ketchup cause the manager is obviously a liar or doesn't even check the order before serving it and they said pull up to the window and there was still the same 3 cars in line that had been there for quite some time. My family and I love Whataburger. Best fast food burger honestly. However our experience today was unsatisfactory and quite disappointing. My mother and niece went to the restroom to find an employee smoking cigarettes in the stall. She soon left the restroom and went straight back into the kitchen acting as if she was innocent. I could have died right there on the spot, and no one would've even noticed for hours! But I decided that was just too long to wait. So after close to 40 minutes I finally went to the counter to check if I was even still in the system, but it didn't seem like it because they looked confused when I told them what my order was--a Whataburger, just that simple, nothing else. Then, one good employee apologized and got right on it. In a few minutes I got my order and that was that. Now this was a couple of months ago and I was going to write my review immediately, then got too busy and later thought to just let it go. But every too often as I pass by the place on my way home I'm just reminded of that awful experience. So maybe writing this will help release me from it. So must say though, I do have at least one thing to thank the place for. Because of it all, I've been a much better cook lately than I've been in years!
