This is the one I've been to here in Colorado Springs. I ordered the usual a DBL Meat Patty Melt Combo with Onion Rings. I ordered the Onion Rings to be cooked on the French Fry timer so 2min 45sec, or maybe it's 2:25 I forget ‍ been awhile since I worked at a Whataburger. Anyway the ones here in Colorado Springs are owned by a really cool person named William so maybe I'm biased because he has the same name as I do, but when they made my Onion Rings extra crispy (it's special on the French Fry timer) the crunch was perfect and reminded me of Texas. The service was prompt, and the mood was nostalgic due to the 1950's type of atmosphere. I usually get a DBL Meat Whataburger DBL Cheese, sub Texas Toast, sub Mayo add Ketchup extra pickle, but recently I've been adding lettuce. tomato, pickle & crispy onion with the grilled onion still on the Patty Melt because it is delicious! The Breakfast is on point and I know as I get the biscuits and gravy with a packet of picante and a taquito with sausage, bacon, potato, eggs & cheese to put the picante in the biscuits and gravy and dip my taquito in the sauce left over. My son's Sausage Breakfast on a Bun was delicious as he told me it was! All in all GREAT Location! read more

My experience was just ok but I may be biased. I grew up in a small town in Texas with Whataburger around the corner. I know the quality of fast food may have changed over time but my food was mediocre. I got the basic whataburger combo. This was my first whataburger in about 20 years. Sadly it's not what I remembered. The wait was long and the fries were cold and soggy. The burger wasn't bad, but it wasn't remarkable. Prices seem a bit high as well. Y'all need to rep Texas better! While visiting The Springs last evening, I craved an In & Out Burger. When I drove up to the intersection I noticed Whataburger. I never had Whataburger so I thought this would be an opportunity to try something new. As another reviewer mentioned, they're directly across the street from In & Out. Agreed that it's a bold move. As I entered Whataburger I loved the energy and the lighting. The dining is large and has plenty of seating. It's clean and staff is friendly. Kudos to a couple in front of me for allowing me to go ahead of them for placing an order. Menu is diverse but simple. I ordered a double meat Whataburger meal. The meal comes with your standard side of fries and a drink. In lieu of a fountain drink, I ordered their featured Dr Pepper Milkshake. My total bill of sale was a little over $16 which I felt was overpriced. You can order the same meal from a competitor for a much cheaper price. After paying for my meal, they gave me a numbered placard to set on my table. It didn't take long for my milkshake to arrive. I loved the taste of the Dr Pepper Shake. It was larger than I thought it would be. Surprisingly, I nearly finished all of it before leaving the restaurant. I waited a little while for my burger and fries to arrive. It was a standard wait time. Not long and not too short. I love how they bring the food to your table. A nice young man brought my burger and fries on a tray to me. He was holding another tray which had a number of condiments on it. He offered me spicy ketchup or regular ketchup. I love how they offer spicy ketchup. It was really good! I chose the spicy and regular ketchups. I preferred the spicy ketchup over the regular. What impressed me the most about the burger is the size of it. The burger reminded me of an old school whopper from Burger King, back in the day. The fries were good. They were nothing over the top. I would probably order a large fries with my meal, the next time I return. The burger had chopped onions and lightly grilled. They were okay. I prefer raw onions and not chopped on my burger. Overall, the burger and fries were good. Nothing over the top. It doesn't make me want to return here in the near future, immediately. However, I would like to return someday. I would consider Whataburger as an option when craving a burger during a visit to The Springs. Hopefully, they will have a Whataburger closer to my home or in the Denver area sometime in 2023 or 2024. I recommend checking out Whataburger. Thumbs up from me. The customer service here is awful. Had a young lady on Sunday morning 9/14 around 9am, we ordered in the second lane so I proceeded to pull forward in the second lane and the girl who came out to get my payment goes "This is the wrong lane but it's fine" and then proceeded to make fun of me with her coworker at the window like I wasn't 10 feet away and could hear them. And when I said thank you when she brought us our food she just turned around and walked off. I would recommend any other restaurant in the entire city. My #5 combo - Whataburger With Bacon And Cheese, Fries, and a 32oz drink - was delicious as expected. There was trouble over the regular Dr. Pepper fountain dispensing Diet Dr. Pepper, but since that's never happened before in the hundreds of times I've eaten at Whataburger, I think it was a fluke. Having said that, it's not nearly as unusual to have a problem at Whataburger as it used to be, and the management needs to clean up their act. This is a review of the newly opened Wataburger in Colorado Springs, directly across the street from In&Out! (A bold move) To start, the prices here are significantly higher, almost double what In and Out charges. (Prices at In & Out have since gone up since Wataburger opened.) In contrast, the burgers are a bit larger, they are open 24/7, feature a double wide drive thru (wait was about the same regardless) and Wataburger offers chicken as well as onion rings, salads and a bunch of other items not found on their competitors menu. That being said, the value at Wataburger doesn't quite match what you will get at In and Out, however this is good food. It's too expensive, but flavor was there. The portion is nice but you pay for that and the fries without a doubt are MUCH better then the fries at In and Out. All in all I was happy this place is here, but competition isn't supposed to drive prices up, so that's lame. Also, worth noting there is an app you can download for a free burger, so def do that before you come! Note: No ketchup in bag or on burger. Not sure if you gotta ask or what but it was on the receipt (no charge) but the place is new so we'll see. read more

On September 18th, 2023, I decided to have Whataburger in Colorado Springs. When I visited Texas (Temple & Amarillo), I found them to be delicious. But, this new Colorado location was a great disappointment. I ordered the double meat with cheese. It was not fresh, and not very good. The fries were decent however. They're the thin shoe-string fries similar to In-N-Out Burger and McDonald's. I dipped the fries in the thousand island sauce that did cost extra. It also took a very long time for my meal to be served. The dining interior was nice though. I just the found the food disappointing. I think In-N-Out Burger's transition to Colorado was better. When I'm back in Texas, I want to have Whataburger again since I found it great out there. read more

Yall Texans have really done it now. First off never have I ever had a fast food Coca Cola and not had crisp sensation fill my mouth. I love Whataburger. Long term eater of their burgers and chicken tenders. Having said that, this is the restaurant that is also the training center for new employees. I expect slow drive through times, occassional wrong orders, etc. Yesterday I ordered my chicken tenders like I usually do, in a meal, with a large fry and medium unsweet tea. The drive through operator said that I couldn't order it that way. They said I had to order large fries with a large drink, or a medium fries with a medium drink. I said that I had been ordering my meals that way from Whataburger for years(I used to live in Texas). I get Whataburger about twice a week, I'm a pro. :) The operator immediately got an attitude and said "We don't do that here! You can only do large with large or medium with medium!" I said "That's not correct, you do it all the time." They put in a meal with medium fries and medium drink. I asked them to change it to large fries. They said "We don't do that here! I can do this all day!" I said "Yes, you do. I can do this all day too." They yelled "Let me get somebody!" I could hear them over the drive through speaker "Can somenone come deal with this? They aren't listening!" I heard whoever they were talking to say "You need to change the size right here." I saw them update the order on the menu board too. Then they said "Anything else?" I said "I'd like a side of no attitude." Them: "Anything else?" Me: "Nevermind, I'll go to In-N-Out across the street." Which I did. Given that this is the training location for the other stores, you'd think that they'd have a trainer there with the new employee to help them with things like this. And, I hope the operator gets trained on how to keep her cool. She needs to learn the customer is always right. In this instance, the customer wasn't wrong. :) I still love Whataburger but I'll probably stick to using the Dublin location from here on out. read more

It's near midnight, and I've been timing the wait RIGHT NOW as I sit, and it's now been over ten minutes. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER, THIS LOCATION SUCKS. I could drive the 4 miles to the next location and STILL get it faster than this shithole. There's two more cars behind me now. EDIT: finally got my food after 15 minutes. I love the fact that Whataburger is open 24 hrs, HOWEVER...last night when I ordered, I was informed that they had turned their fryers off and onion rings and fries or any fried food was not available and my only option was apple chips. The worker with the pink hair in the front is so rude, I don't know who raised her and taught her how to act like that. If I wanted this service I would go to McDonald's. Her service I wish they left Whataburger in Texas. I prefer the service across the street at In N Out. They don't act like that over there. This is by far the worst whataburger I have ever been to. The service was awful; to start, I ordered a large water and got charged .35 for it, just for NATALIA to give me a SMALL WATER. I corrected it and she said that they would have to charge me MORE MONEY for a damn large water when I was already charged .35 for a small cup. Outrageous. I also tried to order my regular meal which is a two strip a La cart, and Natalia stated that she "cannot do that" when it is what I order every single time. Damn shame. I love the Whataburger in Florida and we were so excited to have one nearby. We placed an order the second day they were open. Only got burgers and fries, and everything was so good we didn't share with the kids (we made them spaghetti at home) and I'm so glad we did. Within an hour I didn't feel great. I took a tums and went to bed. Woke up a few hours later, and violently had everything come out both ends, within a few minutes, I hear my husband in the other bathroom, same thing. Two full days of us in total agony, unable to even walk upright, I'd never been so sick in my life. Despite filing a complaint with the restaurant and the health department, we were only offered a free meal... seriously I'll never, ever eat at a Whataburger again, and saying that is upsetting, cause I really did love this place. read more
