Went there last night and the employee who was tending the dining room and the carry out orders was harassing my toddler. He wouldn't leave him alone. Every 2-3 minutes he was standing over my shoulder trying to make my son react to him, and it made my son so uncomfortable that he wouldn't eat. It was so upsetting for me and my husband that when we got to the store afterwards we had to just sit and decompress. I don't know who is in charge of scheduling, but someone like that who doesn't know personal boundaries needs to stay in the kitchen and not around customers. Food was good. No issues there. Restaurant was clean, if a bit sticky. The tables could use a good wipe down. Maybe if he was doing his job and not harassing my son, it would have been cleaner. read more

Worst service ever. I'm tired of paying for extra sauce and being uncharged to only get home and find out they never put any of it in the bag. I spoke to Jeremy at Ingleside and Coltan at Aransas pass. They said they would refund and then when I talked to the right manager they said they wouldn't do it. I'm from out of town but the service is horrible. Especially when I pay for good I never received. I heard Claudia is the GM. Maybe she will reach out to make this right. Hard to pass a Whataburger! Especially if you've just spent quality time on the beach with hundreds of your hopefully vacinated ( not holding my breath) fellow almost post pandemic horde of Memorial day revelers! The service in this small town fast food institution was knock your socks off. It didn't have to be. The young lady that waited on me in this marginally depressed town had the positive mental attitude that no doubt will take her far. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. No one in line and still waited over 10 min for food In the drive through. There was 8 people inside the window walking around clueless including the manager. Got back to our RV to opened the food and the gravy was pure water consistency! So gross!! You have to know that is not right when you are preparing! Burger was disappointing too. Ordered my usual triple no bun with bacon and cheese, large fry. Got my order and the large fry box was half full, they fixed it by bringing another. Got all the way home and there was no cheese on my burger. They have been steady with a few fry mishaps but I think I'll be taking a break from them. As usual my Whataburger was good, except for the excessive amount of Mayo on my burger. There was so much it was dripping on my tray. I guess since I asked for double grilled onions they also doubled up on the Mayo. No problem, I scraped the excess off and enjoyed. My wife had an Apple Cranberry GC Salad which was good. Ordered a Cinnamon roll with my rewards points. Usually pretty good! It was lightly warm but the Cinnamon Roll tasted stale. So I got an opinion from an Expert Cinnamon Roll Baker with BS in Home Economics, a certified teacher and a Masters degree, my wife. She took a taste and made a face indicating not the usual Cinnamon Roll. She agreed that it tasted stale. Oh well! You can't hit a Home Run every time. We visit WB 2+ times a week as we travel throughout South Texas. My qualifications as an Expert and Experienced Food and Service Critic; I have a BS in Management and have been trained in two Culinary Schools, to include on the job training at other venues. I've managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have had my own successful Catering business. As a Trainer, I have trained personnel on how to provide superb cuisine and customer service. At the age of 73, I am now retired and enjoy being on the other side of the Apron. read more

Food is good. Check your Order before leaving. I've Been to plenty of Whataburgers with way worse food. But I swear. Something about this location...they NEVER give any napkins in the drive through. It's so bad and I come so often to this one cause my work is so close. (App or drive thru doesn't matter) and I even ask while at the speaker while ordering just to make sure I get a napkin. Not extra. Just 1 or 2 would be nice. when you have 15 minutes for lunch and have to eat in the car. Ya need a napkin!!! But nah. Never happens. I get my food and inevitably, ALWAYS have to ask for a napkin when I check the food bag. What's worse is when I ask for a napkin they always get so cranky. I stopped ordering in the app and did only drive thru because when I asked for a napkin, they never came back to bring one. At least in drive thru I won't move until you hand me one. Lunch in a car is never ideal. Without a napkin is blasphemy!! Just put napkins in the fucking order! It's .02 cents a napkin. Charge me if you need to! I understand that they are extremely busy but I wanted a normal burger tans they messed up my order completely and gave this crazy queso guacamole burger that was a sloppy mess. My last visit to this location was terrible. We had used the drive thru, received our food and drove off. Noticing my sons chicken bites in the kids meal was missing the chicken bites. We pulled back around, mind you our food is getting cold, and decided to go inside. They returned us another kids meal, but instead chicken strips. Terrible, just terrible. This whataburger has been on point for a while now. But tonight they dropped the ball. My wife called in an order by phone @ 6:46 and ordered dinner because we have been on the road all day and just wanted to get there pick up our order and go home,eat, and sleep. But here I sit 6:56 at the register and our order "hasn't been came in yet." On their register to charge us. No apologies no compensation. Just just got my order at 7:06. They never started our order when when called them. I'm glad I didn't use the app. After all was said and done only Ana did apologize. That speaks volumes in customer service. This location took way to long and got the order wrong twice. The french fries were burnt and the lemonade taste like lemon water and the tea was gross. It took 45 minutes to get anything close to what we actually ordered. Will never go there again. read more
