Thrifting is a fun hobby - almost like a treasure hunt, but whoever is pricing the items in the store have priced out of the thrift store range and more into boutique level shopping. The movers arrive and they are told that the item can't be unloaded because Pop's Attic no longer had room for the item that I was told only the day before to bring. We were told it could take up to 30 + days from sale to receive payment. We were told that the three pieces that were consigned sold at different times thus the extended time frame for payment. Not all of the space is used but that's nice because it keeps the store from feeling cramped. I got a perfect pair of pants that I needed for work and a shirt for only $6. Like the pants I got, a lot of clothing is new with tags or near new with minimal ware. The quality of all their clothing is excellent but this small detail makes me want to return in the future. I really appreciate that the store seems to always have sales going and that students and seniors have discount options. My only negative is that the store is near silent and they don't have music playing or anything. It felt a little eerie when I first walked in but after I got adjusted it wasn't bad. Sandy, the proprietor, knows her stock and has good imagination of her own. I am looking forward to having this as an important source of crafting supplies, especially now. If I had known about this place earlier I would have done less of my buying overseas. Sandy's has two main owners who stay quiet and quietly friendly in the background. They pay close attention to cleanliness and customer service. One was Bob, I can't remember the other. All told a very pleasant shopping trip.
