WORST THROFT STORE EVER!!! Terrible pricing that isn't reasonable for anyone to purchase anything!! I asked if there was any way that I could get a better price if I brought in some stuff for donation and the man decided it would be a great idea to laugh in my face. This is no way to treat a customer and I will not be giving this place any business. These people are scums they get all this stuff for free then mark it up a ridiculous amount for their own profit. The one time I went in person all the workers that couldn't be a day under 50 were so extremely rude and unwelcoming I wouldn't spend a penny here if it depended on my life. Clean, organized, air conditioned, color sorted, great for petites. I love browsing through the color sorted women's clothing, it makes shopping so much more efficient as I can avoid unflattering colors. I keep finding vintage gems that seem to have been barely worn and stored away in a vault. I'm always surprised to find so many petite business and casual pieces. My most recent visit, I picked up a few pairs of shorts... don't necessarily need more, but it's hard to pass up when they're only 50¢ each. This thrift store supports the Chelsea house (for homeless women) and two other homes hosting men transitioning from prison to our community. The store is employed by the people the mission is seeking to help. Everyone is courteous and kind. It's a nice place if you have spare time to browse and also a good bet for finding nice clothes for you & your loved ones. I'm always excited to find such lovely things! read more

Came in for a reading chair, worker immediately jumped down my throat to ask what i was looking for. Had to politely ask him to browse alone and STILL he comes back to see what i am looking at. I asked him if they carry tools, and he says tools are immediately pulled for their nonprofit workers that build houses. Absolutely fair. Then says other thrift stores might have "little tool sets" for me somewhere, condescendingly. For reference I am a 22 year old woman. I tell him I am looking for an impact driver and he showed exaggerated surprise at my knowledge of tools and car repair. I detail how I had repaired my last car and he repeatedly cuts me off and keeps looking surprised and says "Oh I'm not even being misogynistic, I'm just amazed you know all of that". Then upon buying the chair (unmarked, coming up with the price off of the top of his head) and him coming out to help me, he questions my judgement on whether it would fit in my sedan (it did). Overall, the chair is nice, the products and prices seem good, but this store does not respect young women--or at least its employees don't. Would not trust it for bigger purchases since they don't label their furniture and can make prices up based on their judgements of you. And to girls, just a heads up, you will have to put up with the southern chauvinistic crap you get everywhere in southern small businesses. Just go to the goodwill next door. Probably great for men, but heads up, they don't have any tools. Maybe you can get a little tool set for yourself at Walmart. read more
