Grass was delivered early which was greatly appreciated as it was a hot day to lay sod. Grass color was great and the attached soil was very moist, but not wet. There was a lot of grass on that pallet. We were able to cover much more area than expected. Just like our family member's, the grass looked great when laid out and was much thicker than other sod we had seen. Family member's did his entire backyard...about 5 pallets, it took well and looks great. We expect the same given the quality of the grass We and our family member have had a great experience with this company. We believe we got quality grass and a good price.

When this branch opened in Wharton, I thought they would never be able to compete with the much larger store in Richmond/Rosenberg. Boy, was I glad to be wrong! Since the store has opened, I think I may have *not* been there every weekend, but it sure seems that way! We know the staff who usually work on the times we are there, and it brings the whole reason we moved to a small town back. I know these people. They know me. It's a wonderful thing. While I'm sure the sheer square footage of the store is less than it's larger version, I have always been able to find what I need and in the quantities that I need it. They keep the basics in stock year-round, and many of the specialty items, as well. Whether I'm buying poultry supplies or something for the pets, they will have what I need and the quantities I have come to expect. Great store, great people, and a great layout. What else can I say?
