This place is a gem, but you must be forgiving. Do not expect service like in a real restaurant. The food is generally great, the service is often abrupt, hilarious, downright bizarre, indistinct, and fun.
The "staff" are all students and are usually terrified with few social skills. The last time I visited, the guy serving us could barely talk, his speech impediment was so bad. As a result we had to guess what desserts we were getting!
On the upside, there are few places where you get silver service of three courses for £11! The food is pretty good, and the atmosphere is comfortable. The drinks are also reasonably priced.
