Booked an arrival and return pick-up, for a total of 98 British Pounds. Not bad at all for a two way ride! ( A Black Cab will cost over 100 Pounds one-way from the airport) My driver called my cell phone at pre-arranged time, upon landing at Heathrow. He greeted us at the arrival exit, with a placard with my full name on it. The driver was very courteous and helpful with our luggage to the car. Bottles of waters are available in the car. On our return trip to the airport, the assigned driver arrived at the hotel early for pick-up and gave me a call. No stress and no-frills impeccable service! Karen provided reasonable rates, was very helpful, answered all my questions and we arranged for Mick to pick the 4 of us up at the train station. The tour was exceptional and very informative at which point we were dropped off directly in front of the main door to board the ship. Mick was born in the Dover area and is extremely personable, providing a tour of primary areas with a strong knowledge of the history and key historical sites. I would highly recommend Whitfield Cars for their professionalism, booking process and highly enjoyable and informative tour. It was such a great start to our transatlantic journey!

All details of arrival were given one month prior. As we were arriving at the train station, the driver sent pics of silver van he was in at train station to pick up my family and bring us to Heathrow Airport. This was our first time in the country. We approached the only silver Mercedes van parked where the picture had indicated. Hard to confuse with any other vehicle right?? We checked in with driver and we were on our way (I thought)! 10 mins into ride, driver realizes he picked up the wrong people! Drops us off in the middle of central London with my children--luggage and all! Said they would have someone call back! No luck! Never heard again until I got back to the US and had an absolute horrific exchange with Oliver (should not be dealing with customers) who blamed us for getting into wrong car! He could not explain why he never responded despite being in contact with both the drivers who apologized for their error! And kept our money on top of it!!
