Weybridge railway station lies on the main line from London Waterloo to Woking, Guildford and Southampton.
Opened in 1838, it is the junction for the line to Chertsey, used by the service to Virginia Water. It is a main stop on the Waterloo to Woking local service and Waterloo to Basingstoke semi-fast. A slower service to Waterloo via Staines also operates via Chertsey.
The station lies in a deep cutting and the main building (with a ticket office) is situated on the London-bound side at ground level: there are stairs and lifts to the 3 platforms. The platforms have deep, traditional awnings and seating: other facilities include bicycle racks. read more
