Shepperton railway station is the terminus of two services from London Waterloo. The main service service runs every half hour via Kingston and Wimbledon, and the other (peak hours only) via Twickenham. On Sundays, there is an hourly service.
The line was opened in 1864, originally part of a scheme to run to Chertsey Bridge, but it was only ever extended to Shepperton. The station has one platform, which has level access from the station approach. The second platform has not been used for passenger services for many years and is not accessible from the station building.
There is a small ticket office with limited opening hours, and a ticket machine for purchases outside the ticket office opening times. There are no toilets at the railway station.
There is a taxi company office close by, and bus services run from Shepperton High Street 200 m away. read more
