They were super kind with my toddler and amicable with us. The food was delicious. We ordered the sausage sampler with potato salad and also tried the schnitzel sandwich. I was surprised by the portions and the quality of the bread and sauerkraut. So good that we ordered another portion of sauerkraut! Fries came out hot and crispy. We honestly enjoyed all the food. The beers were cold, but my only complaint is that they were out of a few of the draft options. I understand it's Sunday, but that was a bit of a negative. However, we got a draft beer and a bottled beer, and both were fantastic. Parking could be challenging on busy days, but on this occasion we had easy free street parking. Free is very rare thing in Miami. They have happy hour deals every day. I believe around 3 PM. I need to come back to check that out. I saw a sign for Tuesday all-day happy hour and $5 brats. That's a deal! Overall, a great German restaurant with delicious food, friendly staff, cold beer, TV screens for sports and homey ambiance.

I hate giving this review because I used to eat from here often when I lived in Hialeah.... but the…read morepretzels my family and I had this past weekend were terrible. When I came by this past Saturday to Westland Mall I was craving the soft pretzel.... doughy, tasty, salty goodness.... sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. We ordered three soft salted butter pretzels....so first things first....no salt....kinda defeats the purpose of the pretzel. How can you have no salt on a pretzel? Secondly it was so greasy that it turned the bag clear and it just didn't taste good. It's sad because like I said it used to be good.

I believe I was a teenager back then. Anyhow, my mother and I used to love being fat little pigs here. That, fortunately, eventually changed. I cannot imagine eating these pretzels for life. That being said, I hadn't had a pretzel from here in over six years. I broke this streak last week and the trauma still sits with me. While delicious, the salty and glazed pretzel I ordered gave me a ridiculous sugar rush that made me crash. Thank goodness I had the common sense to order a bottle of water because I may not be here to tell the tale otherwise. Needless to say, coming here, the questions begs: is it worth it? Well, my dear, that depends on whether you have some Alka-Seltzer on you. Delicious, yes, but potentially deadly.

We had no wait and were seated promptly. Our waiter, Johnny, was wonderful--friendly, knowledgeable, and with recommendations. He kept my tea and lemonade refilled without me ever having to ask. We all ordered schnitzel, each with a different pairing: fries, an arugula and goat cheese salad, or a Caesar salad. One friend also had a bowl of mushroom and Brie soup, and another ordered a side Caesar. Everything was fantastic. The salads were fresh and flavorful, and the schnitzel was excellent. The mushroom gravy that came with the schnitzel had a subtle wine flavor--so good that I already know I'll be ordering it again next time.

Unfortunately, the location is hidden deep within a popular strip mall but once found you will feel pleasantly transported to another Country. The only decor missing are animal (deer or moose) wall effigies. There is a wide selection of bavarian apps and entrees available. I ordered their huge pretzel which was excellent. However, my group mainly came to drink and party late night. Our boomerang shows the wide variety of liquids available each prepared and served in style. After an entire Saturday of dense course material, I didn't have it in me to explore the night life Miami has to offer. I found this place & it was the perfect vibe - super laid back. Music selection was decent when it was on a playlist (I think). There was a guy intermittently playing live music - he wasn't great & was way too loud, but I just put on my airpods and turned on the noise cancellation feature, which toned it down enough for me to enjoy the rest of the environment. Alex was the one who took care of me & picked out a flight of sours, that were all delicious. The dole pineapple one was probably my favorite in the flight; strawberry smoothie tasted great but the texture kinda threw me off (it was thick... like a smoothie lol). She recommended the chorizo and hot honey pizza - also great, especially when it was hot out of the oven. I probably shouldn't have tried to eat the entire thing on my own, but I did anyway. I'd come regularly if I lived in town :)

I had a glass of wine and it was the smallest and cheapest glass I've been served... my bf had the pineapple flavored beer and tbh it's way too sweet.
