The store has two floors, the first has their small selection of games and cards for sale while the second is overflow for their events. While it may not have the size and selection of other stores it does make up for it in charm and small local business. The people who run the events are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate making it my preferred place when I'd play in leagues. Hungry? Ashort walk or drive from great good like Han's or Dogtown, you can satisfy your hankerings while doing a marathon of pre-release events. Boldo's is truly a hidden gem for tabletop enthusiasts of Rochester.

I found out through the Sonny Angel app that they are the only listened retailer of Sonny Angels and Smitskis so I will definitely be back again for them in the future! Yet, I do have to say that their Sonny Angels are a bit pricey.

My boyfriend and I have a very large collection of board games (a few hundred) and so naturally we spend a lot of time here. Not only is the selection of games huge (there has only been one time when they have not had an expansion I was looking for), but the used game section is also nothing to take for granted! Board games are expensive, especially new ones. I can't tell you how many of the hundreds of games we own were snagged from the used section at a discounted price in new or like new condition. I can't speak for the RPG game nights hosted here, but people always look like they're having fun.

It was just after Halloween, so there were one section of marked down fall and Halloween decorations. Then it was aisles upon aisles of Christmas ornaments, lights, trees, stocking and any decoration you could imagine. I loved how organized everything was, each section by product ..even down to the color. Walking around the store was interesting, from the different art sections, frames to the many wooden signs. (seemed they had a sign for everyone) I needed some help finding the red buckets online, a nice salesman walked be right over to them. Really to have the extra service. Since 2003, their owner Tim has worked on my trains installing DCC (digital command control) decoders and other maintenance work. In fact, when in the beginning I would go over to his house and he would do his work there. Over the years, he has opened up several shops and the business has slowly grown. It isn't the largest of train stores, but they don't carry any of the low-end, junk stuff that will break easily. I have heard that they are moving again to Greece, which ironically will be just a mile or so from where I used to live when I was in the Rochester area.
