    My sweet rescue Ayria!

Hello fellow animal lovers, I know for myself personally it was extremely difficult to find a rabbit savy vet. Look no further because your bunny is in great hands here. My vet dr. Leonard has diagnosed my rescue with breast cancer and has explained everything to me in detail along with all of my options and risks and benefits to each. My rescue is doing as well as can be expected and that is thanks to west side vet. If your pet needs anything call the office. For example my bunny jumped out of my arms and sprained her hock I called the vet and they prescribed meds for her right away without needing an appt and xrays and everything else. I highly recommend west side vet for all your pet needs

Dr. Leonard is the BEST! He truly cares about your pet. He takes time to explain when he is so busy.

Making an already traumatic incident 10x worse. ABSOLUTELY INSANE behavior by this lady. Her hair was bleached to the point it was going to fall out and her skin was orange. Best description i have for her. I didn't stay to catch her name before I told her next time you LEAD with vital information you don't SCOLD someone on going to the animal hospital instead of the emergency animal hospital CONNECTED TO YOU. ABSOLUTELY traumatizing. And our cat did pass. And we had to pay 400 for 30 seconds of cpr It was initiated and stopped moments later when they informed us there was no heartbeat. 100 for each medication given there were 3 and than we had to PAY TO RELEASE THE BODY and PAY for a body bag so 600 dollars just for them to tell us yupp he's dead and CHARGE us to give us the body back. FUCK THESE VETS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANIMALS THEY ARE FOR PROFIT. I DID NOT MIND paying for the medical care but paying to RELEASE the body not even cremate!? criminal *Edit the receptionist at the emergency vet and the staff were all quick and efficient they were an absolute blessing this review is for the reception at the main clinic THE FRONT LINE of your animals healthcare. A vet tech came running out, took Hank in her arms, and rushed him inside. When we left hours later, we truly didn't think we would be bringing him home again. It was a long, sleepless night, waiting for that dreaded phone call--one that, thankfully, never came. The next morning, a nurse told us Hank was off oxygen, and the doctor would be calling with his bloodwork--the same bloodwork that had been so abnormal it couldn't even be properly measured because he was so sick. Then the doctor called with the news we had been hoping and praying for: Hank was doing incredibly well. She wanted to keep him through the afternoon for monitoring, but he would be coming home. We cannot thank this staff enough for saving our Hank. Not only did they save his life, but they also gave our little boy so much love and care while he was their patient. We will forever be grateful and cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, The Woodruff Family

Jerry's daughter took over the practice after her father passed. We have taken 4 dogs and nearly 10 cats over the years to her, the last two showed up at our house with terrible eye infections, and have to have the eyes removed. But, it saved them, so it needed to be done. We lost our girl, Molly a month ago. Molly had a torn ACL at an early age, and got arthritis, and started to gain weight. She then put her on a special diet, which was over $100 a bag, which was high in protein, causing more weight gain. The bottom line, she was heavy, and could not lose weight. Anyway, my wife found another dog for our lab to play with at a rescue, and we decided as a family, to go for it. We used All About Animals as our vet reference, and the next day our visit was cancelled because the rescue was told by Dr. Mcdonald that we overfeed our pets. WTF? Our kids are skinny, our 5 cats are skinny, and our remaining dog is skinny. But are one dog was heavy, and had the medical reasons to back it up. What a shitty thing to do to two little kids who took the loss of their dog very hard, but were excited to move on and give another dog a chance. Please do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere for a vet. Her father would have never done that, and I hope some day she answers for it. Stay away.

I boarded my dog here in June and was absolutely disgusted. When I picked him up he had a deep scratch down his nose. I assumed it was from a run-in with another dog and no big deal so I ignore and take him out to the car. When I go to lift him in he smelled so strongly like cleaning product and was covered with poop on his rear (this has never happened at home, he is a large dog). I go inside to ask for a paper towel or something to clean him up and no one comes out so after standing there for a few minutes I just leave and go put him in my car. He had mass amounts of hair coming off him so I give him a bath as soon as we get home and notice he has an ear infection (hasn't had one since he left the pound) and his paw paws are peeling off and cracking I can't even imagine what would cause this. He used to go into his crate no problem and it took 3 days for him to willingly go into his crate again. When I initially left for vacation and contacted them for an update it took 48+ hours to respond. This isn't just unacceptable it's boarder line animal abuse. I would never, under any circumstances take my dog there again.
