I'm very disappointed in this business since they closed one of their locations. It's only May and they're standing room only for waiting for a bed due to not having enough beds at this location. Feels like a Medi-Cal office. People are complaining, having to wait two and three people deep just to get to the bed you want. It's not even summer quite yet and when I asked the young lady at the front desk if they were going to reopen another location, she instantly got irritated and said none of us wanna wait for a bed. And then had a slight attitude. Just very disappointing and I'm glad it's not just me that feels that way. read more

I have used west side tan in the past for an in studio spray tan done by a lovely lady. For that service 5 stars ! I can not give a review on the other services. However , I have called numerous times the last 2 weeks and got no answer. There is a voicemail to leave messages and I did leave messages stating I was wanting to book an appointment for the spray tan service again. I received no call backs. Time was running out so I made my last attempt to call and I got an answer !!! What really upset me is the lady told me they no longer offer that service. I feel after leaving multiple messages that a return call should have been done , even to let me know they no longer provide that type of tanning. Customer service could have been better in that area and now totally crunched on time to find this tanning service. read more

I've used Westside Tan twice for spray tans and will be back. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I've never been to another tanning salon so I don't have anything to compare the quality to but I've been happy with it. The only thing I'll say is that when I went before stagecoach they were very busy and my session was rushed. I left as a first time tanner with only the paper for instructions on how to care for my tan. read more

I get my lashes done here. I am obsessed. I can't live without them now. False eyelashes for daily wear is the only way to go now a days. I am a single mom with two kids and not having to mess with mascara in the mornings gives me those few extra moments to handle other more important tasks. They are always professional, prompt and available. I am constantly complimented on them by strangers and even my friends who get them done elsewhere ask me who does mine. I went here to get a partial spray tan for a wedding where I was the Maid of Honor. I did this per the request of the bride, but only felt it was necessary for the top half of me since I was wearing a floor length strapless gown. Not only did I turn out ORANGE, but it was spotty and blotchy and she missed parts of my hands! The staff was nice enough, and the lady who did my spray tan had good 'bedside' manner, but I wouldn't recommend this place AT ALL!! Thank goodness I had a coupon, so it was only a waste of $10.. But alas, I could've spent that on a tanning lotion and could've done a better job myself! read more

I love this place. They are very friendly which is rare at a tanning salon They tend to be a little on the snobby side. However these guys are sweet. The beds are very clean and any time I forget my lotion they hand over one of theirs for me to use. They don't have to do it they are just being kind. There is one receptionist who has a big smile and big green eyes that is just wonderful. Shes young and still has amazing customer service. I recommend this place to anyone who likes to tan. read more

AVOID! I was looking for a Mystic Tan the day before I flew to Hawaii for vacation. This place doesnt have the mystic instead they told me they had something very similar, a different spray tan machine I hadnt seen before. As soon as I went in the room I could tell the machine wasnt the same quality as the Mystic but they staff reassured me it was the same. I left with blotches and spots all over. I went to the front deak and they lasy tried to tell me that was just the top layer and it would disappear with a shower. This was a complete lie. I am now left spending my first day of vacation loking for a tanning salon to fix this mess. The place has poorly maintained machines, the staff lied and refused to do anything about their faulty tans. Unles stiur goal is look like a spitted leopard or you really just want to thriw $25 down the drain, avoid this place. read more

I had a great first experience at an airbrush spray tan today! The staff is very nice & friendly. Kristen (I believe that's her name) did my spray tan & she did an amazing job! My mom & I were both a bit worried that the spray tan would turn out orange & that I would be orange for my prom. But Kristen did so great, my spray tan did not turn out orange at all. It's perfect. Also, she was able to even out my back tan from my track uniform since I'll be wearing a strapless dress. Now I don't have to worry about my tan lines showing in my pictures! Since it's prom season, they were having prom specials so my airbrush spray tan came out to be only $25 & the sunless tan body wash I also purchased was 20% off! Best place to get an airbrush tan in the Antelope Valley. Before I learned that Westside Tan does airbrushing I had been driving to SCV and was paying over $50 per tan. Westside has good deals, uses the same tanning solution as the place I was going to in Valencia, and is very friendly. I have to say the only salon I will ever be attending agian is the Quartz Hill Salon (original westside tan). The girls there are very sweet, welcoming, and provide a lot of information but, I can't say the same for the Lancaster and Palmdale salons. The Ladies are rude, unfriendly and hoard information such as, how I was able to freeze my account. The older woman with the accent let me walk out upset bc I could'nt cancel my EFT, but failed to tell me I could freeze the account. FAIL!!! Thank you Brenna in Quartz Hill salon for helping me. This place is amazing!!! So very clean you could eat off their floors. Immaculant! Customer service is also excellent. Everyone is so very nice and friendly. You feel like you are part of a family group. They always have great specials going on and several different types of tanning booths or everyones needs. Im not to sure about this place yet, I have gone twice. First time I had an air brush tan, and it came out amazing... it lasted about a week. When it came off it came off in spots I looked like I had a skin disease. My second time I had a mystic tan, it was pretty nice. The workers are really nice. They said they have a new air brush machine, so Ill have to try. But I suggest the air brush you look flawless, until it fades hah. But its worth it. read more

Unfortunately, I went back for another spray tan with my daughter and the Girl that we had before was on vacation. :( So, we had Katie, super sweet girl and very friendly. Our spray tans were horrible, I will NEVER allow her to spray tan us again. She failed to put a towel down on the floor, so our feet were stained BLACK for almost 2 weeks, pretty embarrassing while wearing heels or flip flops. The tan didn't last as long as when the other lady did it and the color was completely off. My bikini area looked horrible as well, once again, embarrassing when wearing a swim suit. $70 for two tans to be disappointed. We will be back, but we will have someone other then Katie. read more
