Apparently, they sold their business to some other outfit DBA 'Cottonwood Mini Storage' that opens their suddenly new business relationship with me by threatening me with legal action and charging me $15 for a 'pre-lien' charge because my long time 'auto pay' account rejected their business name change a few weeks ago. I believe they call a Kansas City Shuffle still from units to make a profit selling units once a month unit auction. Put a lock on it leading to be thinking I lost my keys. They came and cut it off and open the unit more than half of my stuff.

I moved in 2000 sq foot house worth of belongings in June of 2017. That fall during the first rain, there was a large leak in the roof towards the front of the unit. Many of my boxes suffered water damage. I can say though that when I reported it to the staff on duty, they sent a worker out to clean the rain gutters and also comped me with a free months rent. My only suggestion to them would be that if the gutters are known to cause leaks in the storage units, that they should clean them out prior to the rain. Last, upon recent move out, I found an extra large uhaul box containing very important items to have been broken into by what appears to have been a RAT. The rat chewed through a bunch of stuff, left fecal matter all inside the box, as well as a bunch of urine stains. I also found a large amount of cockroaches that were dead, under a stack of mattresses. Anyways, I encourage this business to up their game as far as water leaks and pest control.

You still gotta put it out, so when I'm gone for extended times on work travel, I either have a neighbor put it out or I don't have any trash and skip it. I don't generate a lot of trash just by myself, so I opted to reduce the size of the trash can to the smallest 32 gal size. It takes up way less space in my small garage and just makes more sense. It was easy to switch, ...same cost as the big can though. I don't even fill that up sometimes. Green Waste of Tehama is our basically only option for trash and garbage pick up here in Red Bluff. For a garbage company, I haven't had any problems at all. Just put the trash bin out by the curb and it gets picked up. Auto billing is the way to go, so no bills get lost in the snail mail. I never had to put out more garbage than I had room for, so don't know if they'd take that or what, but if your stuff fits in the bin, you're good to go. I'm happy with the service.

We had purchased a 2019 Trailer from CampingWorld in Redding that leaked and had to vacate and prior to that lost our home we owned in Paradise and all our belongings in the Campfire. She was sorry that they had no openings as full but gave me other places to check which we did and there was nothing available. We had visited several that said there possibly would have room and they said they would call me back if certain people vacated and when I didn't hear back I called the 2 "other" storage places acted like we were bothering them, and not the customer service we had at Corning Mini Storage. I accidentally ( prayer answered) called Sara at Corning Mini Storage thinking it was another place and it was Sara and she said right at that time a 6x14 space became available. I was So thankful. The next morning 2/26, Tuesday in the rain we put our items in. She helped line the bottom of the unit with there own black sheets of plastic so we didn't get items wet inside.
