I have just picked up my boat (5/28) after dropping it off in early March. They originally said…read morethat it would be 5 weeks to do a general service to get the carburetor unclogged after sitting with old fuel. After not receiving a call in 8 weeks, I called and was told several reasons why it was not ready but they said two more weeks and I would have it. After two weeks I went to pick it up and of course it was not ready. The owner walked by and asked how I was doing. I told him that things were not good. He just replied that at least it was a nice day outside. This used to be a good place to have your boat serviced. Not even a "I'm sorry"!! Only excuses. They have host sight of why they are in business. Stay away unless you like missing a season of fishing.

I had heard the business was under new ownership and didn't know if any of the same folks were there. They are still there and rushed me in and fixed my boat in the same week so I could get our camp operational again. With gun deer season about to open, this was a pretty big deal and I was completely at their mercy. The store appears less cluttered than before, with new and expanded inventory and everyone was quite helpful. Couldn't be more pleased. I plan to purchase or maybe build a boat in a couple of years and I will definitely be back. THANKS GUYS, GREAT WORK. Wes Hall, Little Rock

I had been on a 3 month road trip in my Sprinter based RV, and I got to Little Rock, AR, My Dometic…read morerefrigerator was keeping cold on electric power, but on propane gas, the ice cubes in my freezer were melting. I found Don's Mobile RV Repair on Yelp and gave him a call. He is in North Little Rock, and he said he would come over next day. He suspected that the burner was dirty. I asked him to clean the burner for me. He showed up on time with his helper, Mark, and they took the outside cover off the refrigerator burner to at the burner. He said the flame was burning and it looked good so he looked inside the refrigerator itself. He said the thermistor (the temperature sensor attached to the cooling coils) was not properly attached to the coils and he put it where it should be. He figured that was the problem. He said he measured the temp after replacing the thermistor on the coils and said it was cooling down. He told me he would not charge me except for the service call since he was only there about 15 minutes. I was happy. Several hours later, I found that the freezer was still melting the ice, and apparently the fix Don had applied was not the problem. I contacted him that evening and told him that it did not seem to be getting colder, and I offered to drive the RV to North Little Rock to his shop so they could check it out again. He said, he had a very good RV guy there who had lots of experience. Next day, I drove to Don's shop out in North Little Rock; I didn't realize how far he'd had to drive to come to me in Little Rock on that service call. It took almost an hour for me to find his place. His service men at his shop removed the burner and cleaned it thoroughly and re-installed it. Spent about 1 hour working on it. They said that was all they could do and told me, "No charge" for which I was pleasantly surprised. That afternoon, the ice was still melting in the freezer. Again, No joy. Later Don followed up with a text asking if his men had taken care of me. I replied that they had been very nice and tried their best but my ice cubes were still melting. I said I'd probably have to buy a new refrigerator. After I returned home, I put the fridge back on propane gas power again to test once more, and within a day, the freezer had frozen the ice and it was staying cold. I wrote Don to tell him that after I'd given it some time, the fridge's freezer was freezing properly and his men had actually fixed it. He was glad it was fixed. I would definitely go back to Don for any RV service work if I was near Little Rock. His good attitude and willingness to fix the problem after the first fix did not solve the issue was very positive and professional. I could not be more satisfied with his work and his ability to fix the problem.

I had told the person on the phone that I would be sending my credit card with my husband to pay, but NOT ONCE did they tell me there was an extra 3% surcharge if paid with a credit card; they mounted the tires, put them on my car, and when done than they decide to tell my husband of the 3% surcharge that was like $18.00 more added on if he swiped my card, but what was he supposed to do just drive off, that's theft or have them remove my tires?? My husband had went inside and even repeated the quote back to them before the tires were mounted, and NOT ONCE was anything said about a surcharge or asked how he would be paying for them. They didn't even have a sign placed in a visible location that stated the surcharge; it was located on a bulletin board as you entered the garage area where customers aren't allowed. Now how is that even legal? I called back up there after my husband informed me of the situation once he was back home. I tried to explain to them that I WAS NOT informed about the surge charge beforehand and I wasn't expecting to pay that extra $18.00, I got met with them NOT caring and rudeness to the point I told them I'll NEVER do business with them again! Now, if they had informed me that they charged the surcharge on Credit cards I could have made a choice if I wanted to finish the transaction on the phone, but they took that from me by forcing my husband's hand to have to swipe my card after the service because he didn't have the cash to give or a check to write and that is just Bad business ethics and just plain wrong!!
