This place is great! Always fully stocked and nice staff. They're closed on Sundays and close early during the week.

Rude, condescending staff. They seem to despise their customers. I noticed this when the new owners took over years ago at the Glenway location. I avoid them. They sell liquor and lottery and behave as if their customers are addicts to be reviled. Putin's Place should be their name. read more

Went today to the store been going there for a few years now but today 10/4/2023 at 10:40am the worst costumer service very aggressive cashier to the point we almost got into a fight. Horrible costumer service do not recomend unless you want to get in a fight with cashier. read more

Very unethical people. They sold me a bottle which had damage to the neck and was leaking. I didn't notice until after I walked out of the store and tilted the bottle. Since I passed through the door, though, they held firm to their "all sales final" policy. They will never get another penny from me. read more

Gave it one star because there is nothing less. This place is AWFUL. Rude owner, would not sell me the liquor I wanted, when I asked how many they had ( because they are behind the counter), he said " it doesn't matter how many I have, you can't have it". Go spend your money elsewhere. read more

If you want to see what a liquor store would have looked like in the Soviet Union circa 1980, then this is the place for you. While the selection of liquor is modest, but the selection of low end beer and malt beverages is outstanding. I noticed a couple of brads which I thought no longer existed (maybe this is 1980). No covid precautions were evident throughout the store, employees did not wear masks and plexi-glass sneeze guards were not installed. There was some social distancing, which caused the greater than 10 person line of customers to block the bourbon aisle. I asked the cashier if she was the owner and she shrugged in a nearby mask-less man's general direction. When I asked him about the long line, he had a vacant look in his eyes and just shuffled off. If you are looking for a a good price on a Colt 45 single, then this is the place to go, otherwise there must be a better liquor store in Cincinnati. read more

From the time i started going into the liquor store for ny ex every day getting a small bottle... I became close with the owner who is the wife. And she is so sweet and caring. She always asks how i am and about things in my life. Their daughter has grown so big over time! They are an amazing family. And i love their accents!!!! I would most definitely recommend. Never had an issue and they don't try an jack prices up. They get people in and out. So even if the line is long....you will not be in there the amount of time you think. I'm so glad they moved locations but stayed in my area!!!! Again. I highly recommend!!! read more

I went here to buy my elderly mother beer. Accidently bought Miller instead of Miller lite. Got outside and realized it.... went back in and asked if they could switch it? A very rude unprofessional young person (definitely not a lady) said NO all sales are final. I proceeded to get the correct beer then went to the counter.... stating I cannot believe they wouldn't work with me to a different clerk. The young unprofessional left her register asked me to repeat myself.... then took the beer, pushed my cash back across the counter while stating THEY DO NOT NEED MY BUSINESS ANYWAY. There is a great drive thru around the corner, Smileys.... kind patient shop with them!! Since Westside doesn't need the business!! read more

I have been in this store and found it to be neat, clean and fairly well stocked. The only thing they could improve as far as selection would be their wines. The staff/owners are polite and helpful. I am mainly reviewing to respond to Howard M's review. If he had stuck to his points about what he thinks of the business it would be one thing but his obvious prejudice against anyone "foreign" is uncalled for and has nothing to do with the operations of the store. If there had been a language barrier - yes - but that's not the case. There was no need to mention it except that it obviously added a negative connotation to the business in Mr. M's mind. I'd like to give Howard M some food for thought: unless he is 100% American Indian, his ancestors also came to this country as "immigrants" and "foreigners." They probably found themselves considered "exotic" and suspiciously "indeterminate" to the already established. A new country, new language, new culture: It takes empathy to be able to put yourself in the shoes of someone facing that type of challenge. He should be happy these owners are working and trying to establish themselves in our country. If he had paid attention he would have noticed "cash only" notice when he walked in. He was embarrassed he didn't and had his little tantrum but not before casting aspersions about the ATM Machine! possibly being connected to (what else) someone in a foreign country trying to steal his money! As if Americans don't rip off other Americans (e.g., our very own Wall Street bankers, Bernie Madoff, etc., etc.,) How sad that via his review they get not a "welcome," here's some helpful suggestions instead of a "hey, where the hell you all from" message from someone who exemplifies what people from "indeterminate countries" consider "the Ugly American" read more

I remembered I needed gifts for folks in my professional life and the answer to that question is always booze. I trotted down the street the the discount liquor store sandwiched between a check cashing place and place that says "American Food" ran by accented guys from an indeterminate Eastern European country. The place was sad. There's no more depressing crowd than the customers at a discount liquor store on a Tuesday at 11AM. Also, the owners (also from an indeterminate Eastern European country) looked to have bought every failed marketing gimmick odd lot bottle of crap that the booze distributors had to unload. I picked a few quirky bottles and went to cash out. "Cash only" an exotically attractive woman shouted at me as if rehearsing for a leadership role in the next pogrom. She then pointed to the sorriest ATM I'd ever seen. I gave it a 20% chance that it was hardwired to a hard drive stowed in a Uzbekistan cave and would promptly empty my account. I waved goodbye and went to Kroger. Got some Champale. read more
