The campus is small and easy to get around. I love all the trees and just the general vibe on campus. Highly recommend a tour, if you're looking at colleges with your high school senior!

The tour guides and admission staff did a fantastic job answering our questions and explaining basic information. I was impressed with whole well the campus grounds were maintained and appreciated that we didn't have to pay for parking to tour the school. Additionally, it was a nice touch having all the students names in a welcome board with individual name tags- and my boys especially loved the shirt they received at the end! Additionally, let's talk athletics! This d2 school is incredibly competitive and boasts a beautiful new track and almost completed state of the art football facility with over 1/2 million dollar in new equipment! The coaches for the two sports my boys are interested in took the time to sit with us and answer all of our questions once the tour was complete. It was a relaxed and obvious the coaches build close relationships to mentor and guide the athletes on this journey!

My son has been at OCA for four years, and we cannot imagine him at another school. I love the uniforms. My child is learning how to dress modestly and professionally. But don't worry that a student is doing the work because they have had enough training at this point to know what they are doing AND there is an instructor who monitors their work and guides them when/if they need it. Then the instructor comes over at the end and checks the cut to ensure that it is done properly and that you are satisfied with it. I have left with a less than perfect haircut before, but I am never dissatisfied. You can get your hair washed/conditioned and cut for $6. I usually tip $4, which brings my total investment to $10 - still well under what you would pay at most any salon or barber, and you are supporting a good cause, helping these students learn a trade. Win, win.

Snacks and drinks were served for a fee. I'm going back to see Avenue Q an adult version of Sesame Street. The theater is small and you can see from anywhere you sit. Some of the actions were not appropriate for small children, so check the ratings on the plays before you go.

While her teacher was very sweet, my family and I were extremely disappointed with the overall recital experience. I completely understand that young children won't perform perfectly, but these routines were practiced for months and many of the dancers genuinely looked lost on stage. Most of the kids were staring offstage at their teacher the entire time for direction, and the performances overall seemed very unprepared and disorganized. Unfortunately, it wasn't just the younger classes either -- several of the older groups also appeared confused and messy during their routines. In my opinion, a large part of the issue was that the recital dances were not started early enough in the year for the kids to feel confident and prepared. To make matters worse, tickets were $20 per person for a recital held at the studio itself, which felt excessive considering the quality of the production. We also paid an additional $15 for a recital video link that still has not been sent out 4 days later, and there was no communication that there would be a delay. Had I known, I would have just recorded it myself. I'm not usually someone who leaves negative reviews, but I also noticed there weren't many realistic parent reviews available, so I wanted to share my honest experience for other families considering this studio. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

They have so many preformance options, mostly for ages 12+, but if you're in 3rd grade you can audition for their nutcracker! It really is an amazing environment, and they are super understand! And they have the cutest mascot named Ellie (their puppy!)
