Retail for used jewelry is quite different. What you paid back in the day, what it's worth to replace, what it's worth to insure. Not only did she reach out to my insurance company to ensure she knew exactly what they needed, she also referred me to a wonderful jeweler to repair my ring. I received the final appraisal quickly and it was very thorough. I definitely recommend her services to others and will use her in the future if needed!

Huge thank you to South Coast Jeweler for saving my finger today!…read more My trinity ring was completely stuck and causing severe swelling, and they were able to cut it off safely, and carefully so that I can at least get it repaired. He visited several jewelers across OC, from large retailers to family owned stores and even some that were recommended by other friends/family but none compared to the genuine care and honest customer service he received from Kathy and Jenny here! I came with my fiancé on his first visit here to get sized and choose some shapes that I preferred. Kathy patiently walked us through sizing and explored different shapes with zero pressure and so much patience. We loved how relatable she was and how natural and genuine our convos went! When he returned on his own, Jenny took her time to educate him fully and showcased her expertise (being in the business for 30+ years) and made sure he truly understood every detail, not just the 4 C's, but things other stores never even mentioned so he could feel confident making such an important decision. They actually encouraged him to even take his time and check out other places to make sure he was confident in his decision. This kind of customer care made all the difference! I didn't see the ring until the proposal, and it was absolutely perfect! But what makes it even more meaningful is knowing how much thought, care, and intention went into choosing it and how much of that came from the guidance he received there. I really can't thank both Jenny and Kathy enough for making his experience so smooth and seamless! If you're starting your ring journey and feel overwhelmed, go to South Coast Jewelers. They don't just sell you a ring, they make you feel confident, excited, and taken care of which makes this kind of experience so much more priceless.

This place just keeps getting better and better! I have been working with this jeweler for years…read more I have brought friends and family here for just as long. I have commissioned pieces from her --- all appraised for at least double what she has charged. There are many times that I want pieces of jewelry that I just can't find anywhere. I come here to make my ideas come alive. I like having pieces that are unique, but won't break the bank. Anh is such a creative and talented jeweler that when I present an idea, she always makes it better: better colors, better clasps, better design, better length, etc.! Let's start with the great real live jade selection. Real jadeite that stays cold in 100 degree weather. I decided I wanted white jade in white gold/silver. She came through. I wanted purple jade earrings and necklace because I wanted color but refused to wear glass beads! She came through. My lavender jade is beautiful with its many shades! My necklace, is stunning. Every time I wear it, everyone wants it. I have already bought three varieties to give as gifts! I will upload photos of what I got since there are no words to explain their beauty--- all for a great price. I wanted a very light green jade set, once again Anh made it happen. I like a minimalist style, but don't want to sacrifice a classy and feminine look. These accessories help jazz up a comfortable work outfit. I used to work in very corporate setting, but now work in a much more relaxed environment. Wearing accessories that elevate an outfit is such an awesome option. This is on the second floor in the Asian Garden Mall. It's right on top of the escalator.

I got various names of jewelry stores but when I looked up each highly rated store the reviews had no reviews for restringing or repairing. My daughter's jeweler said "bring it in and let me see" which means to me that it was not her specialty. Ann had very few reviews on Google, but all 5 stars. That usually makes me think family and friends did the reviews. BUT I searched Yelp on Yahoo and saw she had 75 reviews and still 5 Stars. Comments were very helpful which included that she can do them while you wait. As a mom of a FVHS athlete, running her own business, I can see why she doesn't have perfect hours. I'm sure she'd rather watch her teen's event whenever possible. I absolutely enjoyed my less than half hour in her presence. We chatted while her hands flew through restringing my necklace. She learned her craft from her mother and for fun she likes to time herself so that when someone asks how long a repair would take, she'd be able to answer with some proven experience. Just a fun gal. This necklace was my mom's and was worn by some of my siblings and myself for our weddings. Very special to me And I'm thrilled to have found a greatly skilled Craftswoman who does it right in front of me. I will bring my other pearls to her in the future.
