I want to thank the General Managers as well as recognize Jorge Leiva in the Finance Department at Westshore Honda for the way he handled my concerns after my purchase. He took the time to listen, treated me with professionalism and respect, and worked to find a solution for my previous concern with finance. I appreciate that Jorge Leiva focused on resolving the financial concerns but also took the time to explain the "why"and followed through with exceptional service. His willingness to help made a meaningful difference, and I wanted to acknowledge the positive customer service he provided. Thank you, Jorge, for taking my concerns seriously, for your prompt turnaround and working toward a fair resolution. I recommend Finance Manager Jorge to anyone considering Westshore Honda. read more

I've been bringing my car to Westshore Honda for oil changes and battery replacements for several years. I recently booked an after-work oil change, assuming a weekday appointment would be less busy than a weekend. Upon arrival, I was told the wait would be two hours due to staffing shortages and technicians leaving at 4 p.m. I was also told that the service team doesn't communicate wait times to appointment staff. I had called two hours before my appointment to confirm, yet no one mentioned the delay or the expected two-hour wait. Customers should be informed of significant wait times when booking, whether online or by phone. Had I known, I could have planned my schedule accordingly. Since I had another appointment afterward, I couldn't afford to wait two hours without missing it, so I had to leave without getting my oil changed. After several years as a customer, I'm disappointed by this experience and will be taking my business elsewhere for future oil changes. read more

If you get a coupon from them in the mail for a $14.95 oil change, just throw that in the recycling bin. It's a bait-and-switch, they'll charge you regular price per the fine print. Plus I showed up there and they said it may take a few hours, so better to make an appointment. So I did, and when I came back, they made me wait half an hour, only to then say my appointment wasn't in the system. So I just left, with gas and 2 hours of my time wasted. Never again. read more

Used car purchase review Everyone was friendly and professioal, but their tactics were oldschool bait and switch. Saw a vehicle online and used TrueCar to get the out the door price. The salesman contacted me and acknowledged the TrueCar price. Test drove the vehicle and decided to talk numbers. The salesman came back with a price $15k above the TrueCar as a starting point. I WAS SHOCKED! The sales manager came back with a lower price, still more than TrueCar, explaining that the advertised price has disclosures excluding numerous fees. The general manager made a reasonably lower offer, still considerably more than TrueCar, but I was so appalled by the experience and wasted time that I didn't want the car anymore. read more

Thanks for leaving my mom without a car you bunch of crooks n thieves. Bunch of assholes. We now got a new car with Kia from this year as well and they even offered to lower the price from $500 a month to something lower. Also it's funny y'all really gave us an old car from 2024 with the same price of $500 with no negotiability and my mom did not have option to choose what car she wanted with y'all either. Greedy bastards. Everything's good on our end now with Kia. Suck a fat one like Derek from stranger things say. Mfkrs. read more

The finance team are crooks and scammers and very nu-responsive, they added 3 contracts to my loan worth of $6000 without my permission, and I kept calling them for 6 month to cancel, and every month they say it is cancelled, and you will get credit next cycle, and that's how they dragged it for 6 month so they can get commission. I called multiple guys at the dealer, and they promised it was taken care of, but they are all bunch of liars. And I requested 5 times to talk to the GM, and they always say he is in meeting. Don't buy from this dealer. Crooks, scammers, Liars. read more

Applause for the following Westshore Honda representatives: Demaris Ramirez, David Ruiz, Alex Johanson, and Zay Duran! They spent hours assisting a friend in purchasing the 2025 Honda Pilot EX-L 2WD that he had leased. On this day 09/01/2026 I don't even know where to start with this place. Let's go with the advertising first. #1: I saw an offer by the dealership on a third party website with these information: Honda Pilot Elite, White: $52,920 "No Additional Dealership fees" and dealer listed "this is the all-in price". I thought to myself, this has to be the deal of the year, it's too good to be true. I called and texted someone from internet sales to CONFIRM the deal before I headed out. As soon as I get in the door and my original sales person is magicly "not there" I knew someone was up, they were going to play the "I don't know who did that deal" trick. Turns out, its absolutely the case. NOT ONLY did they not honor the online advertised price they added nearly 6k of fees. Classic false advertising. #2: I have a trade-in for the car and had it appraised with an offer from carmax. Cash offer valid same day. It is at $38,000. They manage to come up with a $30,110 somehow and tried to lowball for $10K out of my car. I have repeated shown and mentioned offers from other dealers and somehow they want to make it seem that I'm going to bankrupt them for asking for a PRICE MATCH. I have never seen such greed from ANY dealership, absolutely mind boggling. TLDR: Not only did they NOT honor their own online advertised pricing and policy, they tried to scam me 10k off of my trade in. With a total of 75k OTD for the Honda Pilot Black Edition. Come on now, yall can do better. And don't talk to me like I'm trying to rip you guys off and bankrupt you guys, I just wanted a fair deal at $3k below MSRP. The dream scenario should be like this: Advertised price: $52,920 "No additional Dealership fees" $0 Taxes and Doc/Tag (~$2,500) Trade-In $38,000 Difference: $15,420 (I know, absolutely a dream deal) Reality price: 35,984.70 OTD (Valued at $75,984.70 OTD with trade-in) I was goning be happy to pay some fees and get everything OTD at $15,000. I was even going up to $22,000 Which is over MSRP btw (62k OTD full price). But no they want to get me sign on $35k after my trade in. What an absolutely buffoon they got going on. If you don't want to honor the online price and policy, just tell me. It's not complicated. This is the prime example of a scummy dealership, no wonder why people rather pay to hire a broker than to deal with sales. But don't worry I've got the receipts. I hope they see this too, absolute round of applause for this crazy of a story. I wish I was joking. read more

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at Westshore Honda was beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. I came in to trade my Canadian vehicle, fully aware it might be a tricky process. Initially, my sales rep Christopher (or Christian) was great, attentive, helpful, and seemed genuinely invested in helping me. But that changed quickly the moment it looked like the deal might not go through. Suddenly, he was nowhere to be found. Here's where it went downhill fast: While checking the mileage on my car, the dealership accidentally left my car running for 3 hours. When they finally got around to evaluating it, the battery was completely dead. The same dealer who left it on tried to jump it, but it wouldn't start. He assured me the battery would be covered since it was their mistake. Fair enough, I was still willing to do business. Then things turned ridiculous. They had me waiting ANOTHER 3 hours with a completely dead car, only to then tell me the battery wasn't the issue (spoiler: it was) and suggest I "just put money into the car" and rent it on Turo, completely ignoring the fact that I couldn't even register it in the U.S., which is why I was trying to trade it in to begin with! The manager then tried to win me back by waiving the $1,000 down payment, but at this point I was done. I called a nearby auto shop who immediately told me it was definitely the battery. I went BACK to the service desk, paid $450 out of pocket for a new battery, and lo and behold, the car started instantly. Not only was I lied to and misled, but I was stuck wasting nearly an entire day, left with a dead car, and forced to pay for a battery they had promised to cover. The entire situation showed me this dealership doesn't care about people, they care about sales. The moment it looked like they weren't getting mine, they abandoned me. I am SO thankful I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle here. If you value honesty, professionalism, and your time, go literally anywhere else. read more

Love the service department for their speedy service at times and the new technology of providing a video while your vehicle is being serviced and pointing out any areas of concern. The service department staff is very knowledgeable and courteous during every visit; however, if there is one thing I could change it would be the salesmen's approach while waiting in the lobby can be a bit annoying, especially if not in the mood to sell or purchase a new vehicle. Sometimes it would be nice to just sit in the lobby unbothered while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced. This dealership operates with a level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism that warrants a warning. I manage everything online because my time is valuable, and I don't have the patience for dealership games. I asked for an out‑the‑door price with every fee and tax listed. The very first red flag was that they didn't even list the correct vehicle price on the invoice; they added an extra $250 over the website price. I pointed it out, but they corrected nothing. Since the numbers were close to what I expected, I agreed to come in for a test drive. When I arrived, I had a different salesperson than the one I had been emailing. The one I was emailing was not working. I reminded the new salesperson again that the price on the invoice was wrong, but I said we could sort it out after the test drive. I'm a cash buyer, and I came prepared with an auto‑draft check and cash to cover the difference. That's when the classic bait‑and‑switch routine kicked in, something that should be illegal. After the test drive, the salesperson "corrected" the invoice, only to return with a higher price after adding a $2,999 "protection package." I told him I wasn't paying for an unnecessary addition for a 2024 Honda with 8,000 miles. It's pure profit padding, nothing more. He asked what price I needed to be at, and I told him: $1,400 less than their asking price, without the protection package. I also mentioned I had a trade‑in to help close the gap. They evaluated my trade and returned yet another invoice, still with the protection package added. Now they tacked on an extra "plate transfer tax," which is absurd because I'm already paying the DMV/registration fees. I asked again for both charges to be removed, and we were still close to making a deal. Then the sales manager came over with the usual scripted pitch about how the car is "worth more," but they're "selling it for less," and that the protection package is mandatory. I told him plainly that the protection package was never disclosed on the original invoice, the one that got me in the door. He refused to remove it. At that point, the car was $3,000 more than I was willing to pay. If they had been honest from the beginning and listed this unnecessary add‑on upfront, I would never have wasted my time driving to the dealership. The entire experience was a bait‑and‑switch operation designed to trap customers into paying thousands more than advertised. Completely unprofessional, completely dishonest, and absolutely not worth your time. read more

I had what I initially thought was a positive experience buying a car at Westshore Honda last night, but after carefully reviewing the paperwork I signed, I now realize I was misled and taken advantage of on multiple fronts. This was straight-up deceptive sales tactics, and I strongly advise anyone considering buying here to proceed with extreme caution--or better yet, go elsewhere. The salesman, Hayden, repeatedly assured me that unwanted extra charges (add-ons I explicitly said I did not want) would be removed from the deal. He said, "We'll take care of it," and made it sound like they were optional and would be stripped out before finalizing. They were not removed. Those charges are still in my contract and payments, increasing my total cost significantly without my informed consent. I also specifically requested that my first payment be deferred for 90 days. Hayden told me they would "try" for 90 days but that I would at least get 30 days with no payment due. That was completely false--my first payment is due much sooner, exactly as a standard deal would be. Another broken promise. When I asked Hayden directly how much they were giving me for my trade-in, he was evasive and couldn't (or wouldn't) give a straight answer. Now that I've checked comparable values and the actual numbers, it's clear they gave me almost nothing for my vehicle--far below fair market value. This feels like a classic lowball trade-in tactic to hide profit elsewhere in the deal. The initial impression was friendly and helpful, which is why I moved forward, but the reality once I got home and read everything closely is that promises were made verbally to get me to sign, then ignored in the final contract. This isn't just poor customer service; it's bait-and-switch and misrepresentation. I regret this purchase and will be contacting the finance manager/general manager to demand these issues be corrected (removal of unauthorized charges, adjustment to the promised deferment, and fair compensation for the trade-in). In the meantime, I hope this review helps others avoid the same frustration and financial hit. Avoid Westshore Honda if you value honesty and transparency in the car-buying process. read more

If I didn't have to leave 1 star I wouldn't. This dealership has done nothing but play games and run us in circles. We bought a car and shortly after a bunch of sensors started going off. I brought it to the Lexus of Tampa Bay dealership and was advised that I should take it back to the dealership I purchased it from, WESTSHORE HONDA. I then took my car to Lexus of Wesley Chapel where they contacted Westshore Honda because they found some issues with the car that should have been taken care of BEFORE the car was sold, and they were not. Initially, I took my 2021 Honda Accord to have the battery checked and wiper blades replaced. I waited 3 hours. When I got home, I noticed the glove compartment was very difficult to open and close. It required me to make a special trip back to the dealership. Whoever worked on my car obviously ignored this problem in trying to replace the cabin filter. Additionally, in screwing up my glove box, he subsequently placed the button located left of the box in the off position. This prevented me from opening the trunk. I had to peruse a YouTube video to discover how to rectify the problem. The service advisor took no responsibility for these issues. Instead, he wanted me to make another appointment possibly at my expense noting labor maybe involved. He made the statement that my car was old and things like this happen. Brought car in for an $80 oil change left paying $892! For a car that had no problems other than a low tire. Suddenly I need spark plugs, fluids, new wipers and I'm sitting here for 2-1/2 for a ride. So, guess who's still sitting here, All they seemed to want to do was sell me a new car! Should have known when I made the appointment for an oil change and was told it would take 2 hours. Have never been more jerked around by a car dealership. They agreed on a price and the finance manager spent hours trying to browbeat us into buying warranty, advantage plan, etc. We said, no, no, no. I wish we had gotten up and walked out. Instead he "completed" our paperwork on a desktop and then was unable to print us a copy to take with us, promised to mail a thumb drive. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. This is the most misleading and shady dealership I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. My partner and I went in right before Christmas Eve to trade in his 2019 mustang for a 2019 Honda accord because we just had a baby. We had an appointment confirmed with Nigel after communicating with him back and forth about the car and he knew what we were looking for and our trade in. When we arrived, Nigel was no where to be found. He never came to work that day. Whatever. So, we were given a different "salesman" who actually isn't a salesman (he's a manager) and does business under his best friend Nigels name so that Nigel will get the sale and commission even though he wasn't even there. After test driving and agreeing we love this car, we submitted all of our paperwork to them to get the ball rolling with numbers. Before we had even seen numbers we had been there for 3 hours already. And shocker, if you have a co-signer that isn't present they will ask you to fill everything out on their behalf and basically do business without the other person there. SHADY. After 8 HOURS of being at the dealership and negotiating a deal, we came to terms with a beautiful and perfect deal we were happy and content with. We signed over his trade in which we were told was going to be sent to auction because it didn't have catalytic converters due to being modded. Turns out this was yet ANOTHER lie. (So if you see a 2019 Mustang GT that's blue for sale on their website be aware they might be selling you a car illegally unless they put them back on) We signed the paperwork with DAN PIPP and Gabriella (very sweet lady) We walked away with the car. It wasn't until almost 2 weeks later did Dan pipp call us back and tell us the loan was denied and we have to resign a new contract with numbers we NEVER would have agreed on or we would have to bring the car back. When we asked if we could bring the car back and get back our trade in and void the whole process, we were told it was already sent to wholesale. That's a LIE because it's for sale on their website right now. So, our hands were basically tied, we got manipulated and deceived into a new contract that we NEVER would have agreed on if it was the original contract. But it was that or have no car for work and our new baby. When we bought the Honda we were told we would be getting a new license plate because the primary signer of the vehicle had changed. The temp tag on our Honda expired 1-19-2026. We signed the second contract 2-3 days after the new year. My partner got pulled over today and was told the tag he has on the car is not the tag for his car and that he should have his old tag. After explaining everything to the cop he was able to find out they didn't transfer the tag until JANUARY 15th. Nearly 2 weeks after we signed the second contract yet somehow they KEPT THE PLATE and never informed us of the misinformation that they gave us to begin with. So now we have to fight with him to get our tag back so our car can legally be registered. DO NOT SHOP WITH WESTSHORE HONDA. They are the most UNPROFESSIONAL LIARS and MANIPULATORS I have ever witnessed in my life. Nothing has been smooth since buying this car for them and we genuinely wish we could've seen the signs before hand to save ourselves the hassle of this terrible terrible experience. I will never in my life shop with another Honda dealership. read more

If I didn't have to leave a star, I wouldn't This was an ORGANIZED SCAM starting with the Salesman, Austin Fortino down to the Assistant Sales Manager, Michael and ending with Daniel Pipp, the finance manager. I negotiated the price of the vehicle down to the advertised sale price of $49,791.00 which was the sale price on their website on the internet. and this was approved by the assistant manager after two (2) hours of "haggling". I then waited another two (2) hours to get into the finance office and then Mr. Pipps kept me in his office for another two (2) hours with his "magic signing board". Mr. Pipps tried to sell me additional packages and I told him that I did not need anything, additional, as the vehicle already had the package which suited my needs. I drove 50 miles to this dealership, passing four (4) other dealerships along the way, to make this deal, only to be scammed. The Assistant Sales Manager said that I had the deal and he gave the piece of paper to the Sales Manager. After multiple hours in the finance office, signing all the document on the "magic board" and thinking I had purchased the vehicle for the agreed said amount of $49,791.00 which, as I stated, was the advertised price of the vehicle on the website and Austin had sent to me the ad showing the EXACT vehicle with the EXACT VIN Number that I purchased. I thought I had purchased the vehicle at the agreed said amount of $49,791.00 and was okayed by the assistant manager, Michael. Another couple of hours passed and I was told "you are ready to go" however Austin did not set anything up for me on the vehicle, like salesmen normally do when they sell a vehicle, not even the radio. Austin gave me the key, no Bill of Sale was given to me at the time; I was told that the "bill of sale would be emailed to me, tomorrow" (I purchased the vehicle on December 8th) which I never received until eight (8) days later which was December 16th and the Bill of Sale that was sent to me in my email was for $6,000.00 more than the agreed upon price of $49,791.00. THIS WAS THE BIGGEST HOODWINK SCAM EVER!!! All were involved from the salesman, Austin Fortino right down to the finance manager, Daniel Pipps. I still have the information that I obtained off your website for the SUV with MY VIN Number and the sale price that was agreed upon after two (2) hours of negotiation. As stated, earlier, I received the bill of sale eight (8) days later and called your dealership and received "the run around". I called the dealership and wanted to speak with someone about the SCAM they were running and also sent several emails with no courtesy of a reply. On 12/16/25 at 11:45 am the contract was sent to me by Oaklie Payne, Finance Assistant and Customer Relations Manager and I immediately called Ms. Payne but she did not want to "know nothing". I called back and left several message and emails, again, and still no response from anyone at your dealership. I did not receive a Maroney Sticker nor any of the paperwork that I had signed on "the magic board" until eight (8) days later with the additional $6,000.00 added on. Had I been given the bill of sale at the time of purchasing the vehicle, I would have never purchased it at the non-negotiated price. I still have a file with the VIN Number and the negotiated purchase price of $49,791.00 which was the advertised price on your website on the internet. The financial manager, Daniel Pipps, is a real piece of work as well as Austin and the sales manager, Michael. They created a real facade to screw me over. I'm pretty sure they popped my tire, but they won't take my call to find out. I scheduled a 2 p.m. oil change on a Friday. When I was there I asked for a tire rotation too. They said it would take around an hour to an hour and a half since I had an appointment. They weren't done until 4:30 p.m. It seems like they are constantly ignoring calls and it's pretty chaotic in the service area even though it seems like there are a lot of workers. I paid and left thinking nothing of it. That Sunday I got a notification that my tire pressure was low (I don't think I actually drove at all on Saturday so I wouldn't have noticed). On Monday morning, I had a completely flat tire. I called to try to reach the service desk and after the woman who took my call noted that had a flat, put me on hold for 15 minutes. I finally gave up. I ended up calling Costco to replace all four tires, since the back two were getting close to needing it anyways. Westshore Honda had just graded my front two as green, because they were pretty new. I honestly think they may have been under warranty, but every time I've gone to get service done at Westshore Honda it ends up taking hours. I went to Costco and they changed all four tires in thirty minutes. They also took my call right away and were super friendly. The disparity was astounding. I would highly recommend you go someplace else if you're thinking about Westshore Honda for service. They constantly try to sell you something, tell you other things are wrong with your car and then when I tried to call about a problem, no one will take your call. I'm honestly not even mad, I just don't want anyone to run into the same problem I did. read more

It was an amazing experience and thank you to Josiah Massie for his cheerful spirit! I love my new CRV!

From the moment I walked into the Honda showroom, Anthony q I felt truly welcomed. Chantel was kind, respectful, and gave me complete confidence throughout the process. Alex was also professional, fair, and made me feel comfortable. The whole team was warm, supportive, and worked hard to make everything smooth. The family-like atmosphere made this one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. Highly recommend this dealership and their amazing team! read more

Buying a car is certainly more complicated these days! Sales rep Benny Soriano was there to help us every step of the way! Kind, friendly, and knowledgeable! Thank you!! read more

I took my car in for an oil change and they recommended a few services that my car needed. I needed to wait until the next week to have these services done. My service provider was awful. So Arrogant!! He has ignored my repeated attempts via text and phone calls to get pricing on the services I need. I am not going to beg a business for pricing. I took the video that Honda created of my car service items to another place and received a quote where I will have the repairs done. This is very unfortunate. I have always receive a survey to fill out but never received one and that's why I am writing this review. I have been a long time customer at Westshore Honda and would drive from St Pete to have service there. I will not be back. Also I have had several Hondas throughout my life and I always buy a new one at year 10. My car is 9 years old and I was planning on purchasing at the end of summer. I will not be purchasing from here. Do better Westshore Honda!!! read more

Jacob called me on Monday to present the same 'deal' in the e photo. When I asked for him to explain the $7000 worth of fees and taxes and why the 'Westshore Advantage' for $2995 was added on without my consent after it was presented as an option, his response was that it's not his job to know the fees and to only make me fall in love with the car. When I asked to speak to a manager, Jacob kept trying to push the sale. When I told him that I was able to bring up several other invoices that did not contain the Total FL and license fees, his response was that fees vary from person to person. This was a completely lie. I have filed a complaint with the FTC. I advise others to do the same!!! https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/ftc-cars-rule-combating-auto-retail-scams-dealers-guide read more
