I had no idea how to install a remote car starter. You can buy the kit and do it yourself if you are savvy. I had a knowledgeable male staffer lead me the way to the selection of car starters. Once I chose the one that suited my needs, he booked an appointment to have my car starter installed. It took a couple of hours to have it installed. I ended up dropping off my car and then waiting for it by having lunch at an eatery that is sadly gone. It had the best spaghetti pie that I have ever had. I was pleased with my car starter. The left button started my car. I could be a few blocks away and it would start without fail. It was cool and much needed when it was frigid outside. I had an outdoor parking spot where I lived, so starting my car remotely was nice. I was recently at a spa to get a manicure while on vacation. Advance Electronics was across the street, which brought back fond memories of owning my first car and having a remote car starter installed. Since I moved back to Markham, I have never had the need for a car starter. It would be a nice perk, but it's not as cold here to merit shelling out for one. (321)

Do not take your apple products there, they said they are not authorized to work on apple products…read more After having them having my iphone 16 for a week, they literally destroyed it and said they could not fix it. They also charged me for a diagnostic, which they did not do. I had to take it to the apple store, ( which I should have done in the first place).The tech at the apple store informed me that there was never a diagnostic done on the phone and had 12 heat warnings on the phone in the last week, (probably from the heat gun they used), they also informed me that Techfleet are not authorized to work on apple products. The phone will now cost me $400 to fix. I will try to add photos of what they did to my phone.

I had a disappointing experience at CDC Computers on Thursday, Sept. 4th…read more I have been to CDC Computers a handful of times to have my laptops repaired and never had an issue. I was always treated with respect and kindness and the front office staff knew their business. On Thursday I took my laptop in for repairs again but this time a new staff person to me, took one look at it and said it would cost 1/3 the cost of a new laptop. I was not surprised by this and was half expecting it but I was not expecting the way he railroaded me into buying a new laptop from CDC Computers. He whipped across the building and came back with a laptop and told me this is the one I needed. He talked non-stop and would not let me get a word in edgewise. He talked about everything but the laptop. How the business is moving to a new location in the next few months, how they've been having staffing problems, how they are barely making enough money to stay in business, etc. I did ask him if this was a brand new Windows 11 laptop or was it a refurbished laptop. He answered a telephone call and gave a staff person instructions. I did not receive an answer. I asked him what the memory capacity was, he said he "thought it was 550 gigs". Why didn't he find out for certain? I realize it was my fault for falling for his railroading and speed talking, and believe me I am having buyers regret. I have no one to blame but myself and I own that. This is so disappointing. When I took my laptops in before for repairs the young men working at the front were wonderful. They explained what needed to be done and gave me an approximate time and $ amount. Daniel, was totally opposite. He could learn a LOT from his co-workers. Better yet, let the other staff deal with the public and he should stay in his office. Would I take my laptop to CDC Computers for repairs again - yes.
