Not my vibe - The large corporate hangout bar is always too loud and crowded. I enjoyed the food but the service was so bad. The drinks were watery or just not strong enough (titos pineapple) to justify the price. The food was tasty but my salad had been sitting in the expo window for over 5 minutes and my pizza crust was burnt on multiple sides. The nachos were crispy and loaded so that was a highlight. This place is not handicap friendly or accessible. The handicap parking spaces are for over 5 different businesses. The curb cuts are also far apart with bumpy sidewalks and parking lot. Inside the venue, you are welcomed with loud music that you have to yell over. You cannot access the karaoke room without using a large staircase. Getting to the restroom is a challenge with unleveled floors and the accessible restroom stall is the farthest back and has super narrow hallway making it nearly impossible to do a 360! I personally only come here for events and don't come here for my own personal reasons. read more

We enjoy coming to Westport Social for the cocktail options and have recently discovered their food. The cocktails come pre-batched and have a seasonal rotation but sometimes you can snag a bartender that is actually true to their craft whom can replicate a cocktail that was taken off the menu. The bar staff is hit-n-miss. I prefer to go on a slow night if I can help it. I know usually on Friday evenings they have a live band. If you can not go on a slower night I'd suggest getting there before the crowds on a Friday or Saturday because the service is still decent at the bar unless you grab a booth and the waitress will come to you, which also works. Anything better than standing at the bar trying to get someone's attention. The food is ok. We finally tried the smoked wings and sliders which were literally just OK. I would opt towards the wings over the sliders for the price point and quantity. The Spinach Artichoke Wontons are very good and a great option for your vegetarian friends. Another delicious bite to try are the Garlic Cheese Bites, so heavenly and the dipping sauce is amazing. We love the FREE games. We play darts, ping pong and basketball when we go. I have had mixed experiences here. The first time I went, I was amazed by the beautiful decor but disappointed by poor service and a lackluster cocktail. I gave it nearly 6 months and tried again this month. Wow! What a difference! Cardinals were playing so they had the game on. There are so many tvs that it doesn't matter where you are sitting, you have a direct viewpoint from any location. For drinks, I don't remember what I ordered. It might have been their thrist trap? Regardless, it was ok. Something I wouldn't order again. My cousin ordered a Moscato and my mom had a coke. I'm not a fan of soda but her coke tasted different than a coke in a bottle. It was definitely refreshing. For food: I ordered the pepperoni and sausage pizza, which was tasty and had a crispy crust. My cousin went with the sliders, and my mom had the burger and fries. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our server was attentive and nice. However, she did forgot we ordered a coke and brought it towards the end of our meal drink. This was my first time here and was meeting with friends after their wedding and they were having a large group. The space is very large and can accommodate a crowd without issues. The large screens make for a great place to watch sports and they have lots of games like bocci, pingpong , darts, pop a shot and a few others make it a fun place to spend an afternoon! The real star was the food we got the shrimp and pork belly skewers they they were very delicious and flavorful and huge portions we couldn't finish it all. The atmosphere was a vibe. Very cozy and dark inside but a fun feel with games and a solid menu. They were busy so service was a little slow, which is totally ok they were still nice. For food we got a greens salad with chicken, the honey hot sliders, and a beef skewer. All of it was so good, did not taste like chain restaurant heated up food, it was well constructed and fresh. For drinks, we got a brick river cider and another sour that tasted like sour patch kids, recommended by the bartender. They were very busy and it was hard to snag a waiter. We also brought our dogs because we read somewhere that it's dog friendly, but mostly it's just on the patio. My husband's job rented out a room here for their end of year party. Wait staff was great! The burger was also great and the wings were good too! But for me, the show stopper was the FRIES!! So good!! It was hard to eat in the rented room because there was no table really, so a big burger on my lap was a disaster waiting to happen. But there are tables and a big bar downstairs. We went for dinner on a Sunday evening, so the vibe was mellow, but it looks like such a fun spot during a game or on the weekend. We ordered the margherita pizza that quite literally came out in 5 minutes. I hung out at Westport Social immediately following my friend's wedding. Most of the wedding party was in attendance. It was a cold Monday night in December, the 30th to be exact. We arrived at 9pm or so since this joint is open until 1am. We grabbed a few seats waiting on the newlyweds to arrive and also made arrangement to rent one of the karaoke rooms. We began ordering drinks and looking over the menu to order a few snacks for our party. Lo and behold, the kitchen closed at 9pm. Who serves drinks until midnight or after but closes the kitchen 4 hours earlier? Like c'mon! So we're bummed that we can't order food from the restaurant. So we asked if we could door dash as we had eaten hours earlier and had been dancing. One employee said yes, another no. It was kinda confusing honestly and we were kinda peeved because we preferred to eat at the bar if it was open. We door dashed some food anyways because we didn't want to turn into hangry monsters, to which the manager demanded we eat outside in the cold because they don't allow outside food to compete with their closed kitchen. At which point another employee felt the need to lecture us on showing up late. We should have apparently arrived early and ordered enough food to sit out cold for 4 hours while we drank and hung out?? I don't get it nor do I agree. The karaoke room is spacious and fun. They cut off our mics 15 minutes early. Between competing with a closed kitchen that closed way early for the bars serving hours, the early cutoff of the karaoke room and the random confusion of employees not knowing policy and meanish managers I don't foresee going back. I recently went here with some friends on a Friday night, and we had such a great time! We were able to sit anywhere we wanted. High tops, bar seating, and booths were available. Service was decent. Our server was nice, but she seemed pretty busy. As a result, we weren't able to order drink refills or ask for condiments very easily. For drinks, we tried one of their rotating cocktails and Brick River Honeycrisp. Both were amazing! To eat, we ordered brussel sprouts, chicken tacos, skewers, sliders, and caesar salad. We're trying to extend patio season for as long as possible. The sunshine and brisk breeze make this the perfect time for sitting outside. Westport Social has a delightful outdoor space. Pub tables and chairs, couches, fire feature make for a relaxing time. Our server was helpful and took good care of our small group. If you're in the mood, there is a wide offering of beer and cocktails for everyone. The menu boasts upscale bar food. My favorite item was the tator tots..... creamy potato shreds, cheese, bacon, and scallions made for a delicious bite. For the entree we all went with the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Whew! Group of us got together to celebrate TWO January 14th birthdays. My birthday and Marissa's. The GPS took me to a large parking lot plus there was a garage if needed. I followed the signage through the. Courtyard to Westport social. Keep going past the large baseball and watch for the signs. There were fire pits outside and heat lamps for smoking. Inside is no smoking. This venue had two floors. Reminded me of a private group party up top of you wanted a little more privacy. Maybe a baby shower or bachelorette party. Very cool and looked over all the games and people below so lots to watch and enjoy. We met on the lower level. Had a booth and a small table pulled up to fit our group. First, let me say, this is a review on the food, NOT the concept of the overall place. Westport Social opened with great fanfare in 2017 at Westport Plaza. The $5.5 million, 13,000 square foot building can hold 400-500 people. They promote the business as a high energy hangout, with lounge seating, a full bar, and lots of pub games, such as bocce ball, darts, ping pong, shuffleboard, karaoke, hoops, and more. This "vibrant community gathering place" is a lot of fun with friends, groups, etc. I'm not denying any of that. But I'm here to review the food. And I'm afraid that failed in so many ways. As a professional critic who covers Chicago and St Louis, and a Yelp Elite, I stand by my reviews. I happened to be with a professional chef and he said the same thing. The chicken wings were horrible and perhaps the worst I've ever had. While they were cooked properly and were crispy, the seasoning, rub, flavor was terrible. I can't even put a finger on why, they were just bad. The nachos were no better. They were barely edible. They were just a gobbled mess that were very stiff and hard to separate. You literally had to pull hard to get a mouth size piece. And even then, again, the flavor just wasn't good. I had to stop eating them. A good nacho should be flavorful, dripping, and easy to eat. And to top it off, at our gathering, the server didn't bring a utensil to dish it out on your plate. We had to ask after they were sitting there for a while. My advice. Stick with what you know. Drinks, games, and fun. Take the food away or hire another food manager/ cook/whatever. read more

Absolutely love this place! You walk in and the ambience gets better the further you walk. Walking in, you are greeted with a bunch of shuffleboard tables, and then once you get into the big room, you don't know where to start. There are giant TVs everywhere, video walls on each side of the room. Each wall in the main area has a unique sports theme-basketball, darts, shuffle boards, etc. There's a great mixture of bar environment combined with cozy, lounging couches tucked away in each corner. Food-wise, we only sampled the nachos, which were amazing with smoked brisket, pork rinds, and some wings that were also smoked which were excellent. A few adult beverages and the price was right. I will travel to this place every time that I am in town...no question about it. I already have a trip planned for October 19. This is NOT your typical sports bar! read more

Nice and spacious adult spot in Westport Plaza with games and karaoke. I've never played the games or sang karaoke. But the drinks and that chicken and waffle entree will change your life. The waffle has some kinda sugary and carmalized infusion that will burst with flavor upon making contact with your tongue. The accompanying chicken breast is tender and cooked to perfection - all five times that I've had it. The drinks have whimsical names and not too strong and not too weak. Went to WPS with a large group of alumni after a graduation ceremony. The ambiance was good...but that's where it ended. The server we got, can't remember her name, but she was average height, blonde hair...ridiculously horrid attitude! She was above the top rude, basically tried to start a fight with a member of our group because they tried to flag her down after never delivering her food, and never checking on us...it was ridiculous and chaotic. Honestly, if she isn't gone soon, someone will probably put her in her place soon, as she completely ruined Westport Social for me and my guests...we will NOT be returning! I have been here for work parties, and night time fun. Usually great food and drinks. Not yesterday. The food was VERY UNDERWHELMING! The sausage pizza barely has toppings and the cheese part was not good either. See the pics. I also ordered an adult beverage (all good there) and funnel cake fries. The fries were yummy but did not have enough powdered sugar. Typically funnel cakes, beignets and donuts have TONS of powdered sugar. Not these fries. All of the food was ordered to-go so that I could enjoy the 40th anniversary celebration in the patio area of Westport Plaza. I tried to share the pizza and fries with my friends, but NO ONE dared to try any of it. My friends and I came back later for the great band and more drinks. No food was ordered later. I went there for the first time going on two months ago for a late-night desert and had funnel fries. It's a fun place to come if you want to eat and play games. One of my favorite things also that was there were the urinals in the men's restroom. They're the floor-standing type and I love that kind of urinals. The Black & Bleu sliders were really just dry patties with a slice of lettuce and tomato, virtually no sauce or bleu cheese at all.
