I left the office crying because it was so overwhelming AND PAINFUL (my back is arching in the chair as I'm gripping the arm and the hygienist just keeps stabbing deep for her "exam"...), the doctor had no sympathy. He was a cold, deadpan jerk. I go to a second dentist, they tell me I'm perfectly fine and Westover must've been in it just to make money off me. They walked me through my XRays to point out how everything was the way it should be. I had a new patient appointment today at Westover Dentistry and was so disappointed with the experience. My appt for just a basic cleaning and x rays took 2 full hours. The dentist didn't come In until the last 20 minutes, he started his exam, told me I had some sort of TMJ (didn't explain what that meant), requested another x ray, and then left the room. He never came back to finish my exam or explain any of my results. A different hygienist basically just told me I could leave after I waited another 10 minutes for him to come back. In addition to all this, they discussed my medical history and medications within earshot of other patients which made me incredibly uncomfortable. This is the third time I visited Westover Dentistry. My husband and I had appointments for cleanings that we needed to reschedule for another day. They told us to come in two days later, one of us at 7 am and the other at 6 pm. His appointment went fine, but when I arrived at 6 pm, they told me I didn't have an appointment. I couldn't reschedule for another day, and it was the associate's mistake for not putting me in the system. They said they would accommodate me, and after 30 minutes, I sat in the chair, and they began preparing me for an x-ray. However, I only wanted a regular cleaning. The female dentist informed me that she couldn't perform the cleaning that day because they were closing, but she needed to take an x-ray and would not proceed with the cleaning without the pictures. I disagreed and left immediately. It was a complete waste of time. First, they failed to schedule my appointment properly, and then they informed me that they would not provide the cleaning service I came for. I spent one hour in their office and an additional hour on the road for nothing. They should have informed me beforehand that they couldn't perform the cleaning. It seemed like they were trying to keep me occupied and bill my insurance for unnecessary x-rays. My husband was also recommended to do a "deep" cleaning for $500, and I have a crown that I needed built but after what happened to me we are both never going back. read more

In fact I had recently gotten an assessment of my teeth and they totally made up a story that I needed a deep cleaning. Bought Groupon. They didn't honor it as they said I needed a deep cleaning. I have a consistently great experience with Westover dentistry. I appreciate that they notified me ahead of my appointment, several times, that was fantastic. I received treatment from both Dr. Sadeddin and Dr. Khorsheed in the past - I was happy with both. I think they are thorough in their work and they listened to my concerns. I started coming here in 2020 because it is close to my house and my old dentist was by my office, where I wasn't going anymore. I wanted to like the place, but after 2 years it has become apparent I need to move on. They are aggressive about filling "cavities." A second opinion told me not to fill a spot recently (because it was so small that filling would require creating a bigger hole). The last straw was when they recommended considering a very serious intervention for both me and my four year old that would require buying a very expensive device in order to fix problems that we never said we were having. The recommendation for such a dramatic intervention for a child, based on no symptoms, was alarming, so I immediately found a new, pediatric dentist. read more

Avoid this practice unless you want unnecessary treatments and out of pocket expenses. I was a new patient to Dr. Sadeddin. We moved to the area recently. I picked Westover Dentistry because of all the great reviews online and they were in network. However, my opinion changed as soon as I arrived. In my first visit, Dr. Sadeddin recommended 4 fillings and 1 crown with a quick glance inside my mouth and looking at x-rays and pictures taken. My previous dentist never suggested the problems that this dentist was suggesting. I couldn't imagine that these dental problems would come up all of a sudden. My husband also thought this was shady business. We decided to ask a relative who is a dentist and also ask my previous dentist. They both agreed that Dr. Sadeddin was recommending unnecessary dental procedures. He seemed eager to find dental problems. I am so thankful for these honest dentists because otherwise, I would have done unnecessary work on my teeth and maybe even created more dental problems as a result, which means, more out of pocket expenses! I know there are so many people who understandably trust doctors without questions asked or who are scared/intimidated into getting work done. Please do your homework, get the doctor to answer your questions and get a second opinion if in doubt. You have that right. Save your money for actual needed procedures and tests. Unfortunately not all doctors are in it to care for you. Be wise. As far as bedside manners, Dr. Sadeddin was rushed at my appointment. Not a good first impression. Maybe he was having a bad day. I waited 50 minutes to be seen. I needed to pick up my preschooler right after too. I could hear the dentist getting frustrated with his patient next to me. She was an older woman who couldn't understand what was being told and he was raising his voice at her in an irritated way. That in itself raised red flags for me because there is no way I would want my mother or grandmother or anyone to be treated. We are giving him the business so there needs to be respect back. We can take our business elsewhere too. When I was finally seen by the dentist, he was quick, direct in words, and not friendly. This is opposite of my previous dentist who was kind, patient, gentle, great listener and never over prescribed any procedures or treatments. So I know there are honest, friendly, intelligent dentists out there! I will say that the front desk staff are very friendly. They also are great at answering phone calls and returning messages. If you're looking for a dentist will do extra procedures so they can bill your insurance for unnecessary work, this is the place to go. Thanks to great dentists for the past 30 years of my adult life and good daily habits, I have healthy teeth and gums. Westover was recommended as a place near my work, and I have a good dental insurance plan, so I decided to give them a try. The hygienist was the worst. As a new patient, Westover wants to do the expected thorough mouth exam, xrays and cleaning. But the hygienist cut my lip, which was a bad sign. Also, right before she started to measure my gum pockets, she started off by saying "I'm going to measure your pockets so we can see how many deep gum cleaning appointments you'll need." What? You haven't even measured my pockets yet and you're already assuming I'm going to need deep cleanings? (which after she measures them and says nothing, I prompt her by asking what my gum measurements were and she said, "oh, they're fine.") I asked to speak with the dentist based on concerns I started to have about her by that time, and she responded by saying he can't come and is busy. Um, isn't that the reason I'm here? Because I have an appointment with him and not you? So I wait until after they've had time to process the xrays and the dentist presumably can look at what she's input into her computer about me. And when I finally get to see the dentist after a while, he checks out the computer screen, gives my mouth a quick look, says things look good, but that I have a spot on my tooth that needs to be filled. I've known about the spot for a while -- previous dentists have said it's like a freckle on my tooth, but not decay. But I let his staff walk me through the estimated cost of a filling. Then I high-tailed it out of the office and am never going back. With all the positive reviews here, I am guessing that Dr. Saddeddin is probably a gentle dentist once he starts working. But if you have healthy gums and teeth and don't need major work done, there's nothing worse than having someone try to upsell/trick you into dental work that isn't needed. I'm not the only negative review on here that notes he might be over-aggressive in diagnosing cavities. Incidentally, because Dr. Sadeddin got me worried about that freckle on my tooth, I've been to 2 other dentists for second and third opinions -- and paid out of pocket for extra xrays (since my insurance only covers 1 set per year and Westover already billed my insurance for their set). The 2 other dentists say the tooth is NOT a cavity and that I don't need to do anything about it. But my new dentist and I will continue to watch the spot regularly because Dr. Sadeddin has made me paranoid about it, unfortunately. read more

About 2 years ago, I was a patient of Westover Dentistry. Based on photo xrays, Dr. Saddedin told me I had 7 cavities. He filled 2 cavities. Following these 2 fillings (which I had to go back and have re-filled because I had challenges with the first fillings), I went for a consultation with another dentist. The other dentist re-took xrays and examined my teeth. He didn't find any cavities, but couldn't say whether I had the 2 cavities in the teeth that had already been filled. Long story short, Dr. Saddedin diagnosed at least 5 cavities that weren't cavities. My new dentist did nothing to the teeth, and I have had no problems. read more

I was here recently to have my teeth whitened, and overall it was a good experience. Turns out Zoom whitening is shockingly painful, but I was warned about that in advance--the pain was gone in 24 hours though and the results are absolutely worth it. Everyone that works there is exceedingly friendly and helpful. The office isn't especially convenient in terms of location, but it's not too out of the way and I actually liked the cozy setting. I went to Westover primarily because of a special they had on whitening, but I might consider going back in a few months for a cleaning and making them my primary dentist if my insurance company works with them. Also, this is a complete aside, but Dr. Sadeddin is surprisingly attractive for a dentist. It's not really something you look for in a medical professional, but anything to take the edge off a stranger sticking his fingers in your mouth is welcome. read more

This place is great! This is my first Yelp review and I've been meaning to write this since my first visit. Dr. Sadeddin and his staff (hygienists and his wife - who works at the desk) are absolutely wonderful. Small office, but very clean and welcoming. I dropped my dental insurance with my new job and the price was reasonable for a cleaning. And I was told about a check in deal when I got there to save some money. I've never got to the same dentist twice and I will be coming back here every six months! They are open later on Wednesdays so I'm able to come after work without taking time off! read more

Dr. Sadeddin and his team did a great job welcoming my son (4 years old) and myself as new patients. Their office is a great neighborhood-style dentist office. My son needed a cavity filled and at 4 years old I didn't know how he'd react. The Westover Dentistry team did such an amazing job being patient with him and talking him through what would happen next. They had Nitrous Oxide available but didn't push it - and I actually felt more comfortable with my son doing the cavity fill without the relaxation gas, which they were happy to oblige. This is truly an exceptional establishment. I have hated going to the dentist my entire life for a variety of reasons, but Dr. Sadeddin and his staff make it a far more comfortable, relaxed, and personalized experience. Dr. Sadeddin has a great "chair-side" manner; he is a good listener and seems to genuinely care about your oral health (I honestly don't think I've ever experienced that before!). The staff, including the Dr.'s wife, are all very friendly, helpful, caring, and efficient. I also love the set-up of this office, which is located in what looks like a house. If you are fearful of dentists (like me!), you will probably find this comforting, as it eliminates that cold, creepy, sterile feeling that most dental offices have... Instead, this office is welcoming and comfortable. While there's a home-y vibe, there's also nice technology and everything seems very clean and up-to-date.
