I found this information from the American Dental Association: "Adults without apparent dental problems do not need dental X-rays of any kind every year, the A.D.A. says. Adults who properly care for their teeth and have no symptoms of oral disease or cavities can go two to three years between bitewing X-rays, according to the A.D.A.". Just FYI, if you are at risk for cancer, a patient should be allowed to speak with a doctor about the necessity of an x ray or scan of any type. Like

Summer went above and beyond with providing me information on what my insurance would pay and what I would be left with as well as financing options. She was so kind throughout the whole process. Every single one of the staff checked on me during and after my procedure. They made sure to keep my anxiety under control as well as pain afterwards (which wasn't as bad as I expected). Dr. Haygood was very professional and thorough and I never felt like he was rushing to get out of my room. The office is very pleasant. I recieved anxiety meds (several teeth being removed) and was placed in a room with nice music and a cuddly soft blankee and took a 10 min. nap. The good Dr is very professional and gives you a feeling of knowing you are good hands and it was with very minimal discomfort he extracted 5 teeth and performed 4 implants. I have had very little bleeding at home. I highly reccommend this dental family on Airline Drive. P.S. I also was given the blankee!
