Access to the expressway, restaurants, stores, and schools are very short in distance. I chose to move into a town home with a park in the front yard. I love it. My kids can easily go outside, play, and make friends in a seemingly safe environment and in my line of sight without my having to step foot outside my home. I have awesome neighbors and we all take care of each other. The staff seems to be very helpful and pleasant. I say seems to be because I haven't had to contact them but once so far.... which means I haven't had any issues or complaints. The best decision I've made! I have moved three times in the last four years in attempts to find a place that works for me and my girls. I can definitely say that I will not be moving again until I move into my dream house!

I lived with MOLD in my bathroom for a year and a half here. I told them about the mold MANY times via maintenance requests, emails, and phone calls. The first time they "fixed it" they simply resealed the toilet and did nothing about the mold. The second time they "fixed it" they only fixed the cosmetic issue so it was back within one month. I told them it was back and nothing happened. My asthma was exacerbated, i was sick ALL the time, and people who came over would have literally SKIN reactions (that i have photos of.) Then, after I moved out they had the AUDACITY to charge me $300 for carpet staining. YOU LET ME LIVE WITH MOLD FOR A YEAR AND A HALF. Do yourself a favor and do not EVER even consider living here. Not to mention, they continue raising the rent with no improvements to the property or townhomes and no amenities. The gym was closed "due to covid" the whole time I lived there. While I know covid still exists, we are no longer in a pandemic and if the ONE amenity you have to offer is a gym, perhaps you should open that if you're going to raise the rent.

Very very unprofessional place Ran by property manager Jennifer Flowers. Wellll let me say on my…read more1st visit to apply it was unprofessional n handle wrong by an unprofessional unorganized employe who took 3 weeks to do my paperwork when she told me it would only take 3 days. After getting approved I never seen my townhouse until the day I got my keys. On my move in day my townhouse laundry room smelt like cat urine doors wouldn't lock and closet coat door was broken. Which they fix but took about a week to just fix a door. They had to pull my floor up in my laundry room two times to clean the cat urine which is still there after a year and a half of live in here. My children n I had to leave the apartment 3 times for Furnace problems and them to do the floor because took the water heater out. This was all in the 1-2 months of me living there. They scratched up my brand new three day old washer and dryer. I never complain I just wanted it fixed because I hate moving. Now as of today I got my lease 5 days before the 1st of December n was told I needed to hurry up n sign it. I didn't get 2 months like everyone else did. on top of me begging for months to fix My door which never got fix till I withheld rent. this woman is a liar she will say yes to anything to get u in there but never fix anything. Everything is old dated but it's very roomy n convenient for me but I've had enough because when you battle Ms Jennifer Flowers she will evict for the wrong things because u pay ur rent on time n you wanna live rt. The noise and weed smoke is horrible and nothing is done about it. If u work hard ur rent will go up but if ur on state assistance n ssi it will not. It have been at least 15-20 maintenance man come n gone because they say she is very hard rude n on power trip no1 wants to work with her. This is the worst place I've lived at and it's all because of Jennifer Flowers's n how she do not do her job. Please read up look and see before u move here. Everybody live here a yr n move out. on top of the back townhouse is a flood zone u open ur door and it's a pond in ur front door. This is the only place in Taylor that have openings beca it's a very high turnover. The plumbing is bad animal shit everywhere. Do not rent here you will regret it n will move soon as ur lease is over.

EVERY summer it breaks and they claim it's fixed yet has NEVER once reached temperature or shut off resulting in electric bills no lower than 400 a month. They let people go nuts in here and you have to sign your name to letters about folks you complain about because dozens of police runs aren't enough. They ask for "permission to enter" for maintenance but that isn't always required. And I have heard they have brand new units which they won't give me. Last week was the first time ever someone called me back within a day about a maintenance issue. I was not even a full 24 hours late on rent and they sure did charge that 50bucks despite no working a/c. To be fair, i was late 2 other times in 7 years when my mom died and when i lost my baby. Yes 3 WHOLE times. If i didn't have a medical condition that impedes my driving resulting in me living here to work within walking distance to my professional degreed job (just to clarify that I'm NOT one of the folks here living off the system) then I'd be gone. Pray for a cure for tumors so I can get out of here.

Then MELVINDALE police harassment for the residences of this complex is ridiculous. They are in the complex at night checking for expired plate and also documenting who doesn't have insurance so they can sit in the front of the complex and pull people over as they are leaving.
