Westmar has a convenient location, tons of amenities, is by far the highest bang for your buck in the Midtown area, and has a staff that is charismatic, courteous, and knowledgeable There's always events on the premises to keep yourself entertained as well as a nice pool, pool room, included cable/utilities, and affordable renters insurance. On the other hand, the maintenance team is subpar in timing (due to a number of reasons but nonetheless), the halls can smell a little like the trash-chute, security isn't always the most friendly, and the apartments are far from top notch in terms of quality of products, etc (but they do come fully furnished). Overall, I recommended knowing what you're getting into before signing. It has more benefits than cons in my personal opinion, but I'm a country man who doesn't need much. No apartment I've stayed in has been perfect, and Westmar is far from that, but it definitely can satisfy young adults' needs, to say the least. I'd recommend checking it out read more

As a parent of a student living at Westmar Student Lofts, I am extremely disappointed with how management handles cleaning fees and roommate accountability. My son was charged $250 and a late $50 fee a day after the original charge and $10 for each day I was late without giving me any notice of said charged fees. The charge was for a deep cleaning of a shared common area, despite not being responsible for the mess. Management explained that the total $500 cleaning fee was divided equally between the two roommates, with no pictures proofs or receipts provided. While I understand that residents should maintain a clean living environment, I strongly disagree with automatically charging everyone without making a reasonable effort to determine who actually caused the problem. My son should not be financially responsible for another person's lack of cleanliness simply because they share a common area. He was assigned an older roommate, which does not appear to be a student and he has no control over his roommate's habits or behavior. Where is the accountability for the person actually responsible? Why should a student who maintains his own space have to pay for someone else's actions? As a parent, I find this policy unfair and concerning. I am sharing my experience so other parents and students are aware of how shared-area cleaning charges are handled before signing a lease. The AC wasn't working when we moved in and they only fix it 4 days halfway... imagine summer in ATL no AC....They place me in a room, it was dirty, lights didn't work, sink was broken and dirty, fen making funny noises and didn't work either...so frustrating I told and signed them free pet and smoking but oh well I guess taking people conspiration is not their thing. Ever since I moved there my allergies got worse:( the Tv was black and white and the dishwasher broken... DO NOT MOVE HERE! My daughter moved in 8/14/26 and there have already been roach sightings her apartment. The inside of the kitchen cabinets were filthy to the point that I wasn't comfortable with her storing anything in them. It's advertised a having on site security, I was there for 3 days and I never saw anyone patrolling the property. The upkeep of the property appears to be nonexistent. The hallways stink and are dirty. It appears that the hallways are never cleaned. The trashcans in the parking garage were overflowing with trash piled up on the side of the trashcan for days. They show you the model apartment which looks very nice but the actual unit is drastically different. If I could afford to break the lease I would. 0/10, do not recommend! read more

One of her roommates brought over a disruptive guest who ended up pulling a knife inside their unit. The police were called, she was arrested, and now she is threatening to come back. This could have ended in tragedy and sadly, situations like this are not uncommon at Westmar. We had already tried to break my daughter's lease earlier due to family emergencies, but management denied our request. Now we are left with an environment that puts her life at risk. Parents, be warned: anyone can live here, and the safety of your children is not protected. Do not put your kids in danger by placing them at Westmar. My family and I went to tour this place for a family member who will be starting college in the Fall. Although the reviews are not the greatest, we thought we'd see for ourselves. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was that it smelled very nice and the furniture decor was very cute in the lobby area. The woman at the front desk greeted us with a smile and told us someone would be out shortly to give us a tour. that someone was Peyton. From the gate, Peyton did an amazing job! She was extremely knowledgeable on all of the amenities of the apartments. Any questions we had, she had a thorough answer for us! Giving this place a 1 star is generous! They scam you when you move in and scam you when you move out. I lived there from 2023-2024 and let me tell you when I moved in the place was horrible. They told me it was a new unit and nothing about it was new. There was garbage and dust everywhere, I didn't have a lock on my room door, no mattress and ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!!! I MEAN EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I was afraid to sleep for over a week because I was afraid the roaches would crawl on me while I slept. When I eventually got a mattress I had clean it because it was so dirty plus I had to get a mattress cover for it. As someone who studied architecture this place was poorly made and you could tell they used the cheapest materials possible and whoever they used to paint were clearly lacking because it wasn't done professionally. Oh and the sofa looked like they literally got it out of a dumpster. It took us over a week just to get it to livable conditions and we had to clean that place every week, sometimes twice a week just to make sure. We submitted countless maintenance requests which took weeks and months just for it to be fixed. Let me tell you something bout them roaches, I have never seen so many roaches in my entire life! They are literally everywhere! They hide in crevices I never knew they could hide, like cement holes in the wall, the stove, any small opening to anything! And when you think you got rid of them all with constant pest control efforts, nope they are still there. We had to get containers for our condiments and snacks so they couldn't get into them. Any spills made we had to immediately clean up, garbage was taken out often in the week, and you would think being this clean would help solve the issue, but no! In the hallway would stink most times and passing the garbage chute it would always be overfilled to the point where the door couldn't be closed and it would stay like that for days stinking up the hallway with more roaches! I would often find dog poop in the hallways as well. Like this place was just nasty to the core. The entire complex has a pest problem and instead of dealing with it completely they leave it up to unsuspecting tenants to live with it. The day I moved into this complex was complete mayhem! Everyone seemed to have issues. People complaining of pest infestation, rodents, overwhelming amounts of garbage. I literally saw grown men cry over the filth they were expected to move into. The lines to make complaints were crazy. We spent hours waiting in a line to may complaints. After weeks, the dust will settle and you would think everything is fine, but nope! Send in the constant alarm noise at random times at night that would go for hours, send in the constant noise from cars in the garage, send in the domestic violence noise you hear at night coming from somewhere in the building, send in the kitchen sink exploding with sewage water, send in the washing machine leaking for reason when not in use, send in the DAMN ROACHES you can't get rid of, send in, send in, SEND IN......!!!!!! I'm not done, so you survive the year, you made it through. You eventually were able to live and you think back, okay it's not that bad because eventually they did fix things, right? So you think to yourself it was rough in the beginning and you made it to the end unscathed. Towards the end of the lease you start getting constant emails, notices, notes on doors to sign a new lease with them.... not if this place was the last place on earth would I do that!!! I couldn't wait to leave!. I packed up my shit and omg I even cleaned the place and left it in better condition than they gave it to me. You think that's the end after you move out and you're free! Right? Wrong!!!! they slap you with move out charges wanting to charge you for shit you didn't do, especially for PEST CONTROL!!!! The irony! In closing, look at those 1 star reviews, because that is just the tip of the iceberg of the issues you will encounter with this building. I have yet to come across someone who genuinely had a wonderful experience with zero issues at all. They are scammers and I honestly don't understand how they are still in operation. They give you inhumane conditions to live in and they know once these people (mostly students) sign to this lease, there is nothing they can do to come out of it and the cycle continues. As a past resident of this property, I can say Westmar has potential but before they can be a great property, they need to find better management and make a lot of changes. (Fire everyone, including Tosan, and start over. At this point they're just hiring anyone to fill the positions) I came to this property hoping it would be better than living on campus but in all actuality, it was worse. The first day I moved in was a disaster. I drove 13+ hours from home just to find out my room wasn't ready. Even after about 6 hours of waiting, I received my keys to a dirty room. I did document my room move in for personal records and after learning and research, I now know there's a certain inspection that should be done before anyone moves in and out of a unit. I also saw how they were putting students/residents into certain situations to sign an is addendums to get out of cleaning the rooms. 2 Months later, I came home to a moldy smell and discovered mold growing on my window seal. When I first placed my work order, they marked it as complete but I still saw mold. I placed another work order and they cleaned it to the best of their ability. I even placed in a work order for my microwave because it was literally rusting inside and I thought that wasn't safe. They marked that as complete and never provided a new microwave. I got lucky because I was in the office one Saturday and another resident said she had an extra microwave in her room so she gave me one. //The roaches at westmar are more apart of your life than the actual management team. // A big problem you should be aware of are the roaches. I've been on the pest control list more times than I can remember and I'm very dissatisfied with the service. Every week I would put my name on the list and wait for someone to come but they never came. I know this is true because I was doing virtual learning and never heard a knock at the door or anything. Even with my own roach traps, they seem to keep multiplying no matter what. As far as safety, parking is good and I guess the security they have do their best but if there's ever an incident that happened, they would send a watered down email about the incident and are late with updates. It's sad how the management hides behind the leasing team members and interns. If there is ever a serious problem, it's very hard to get in contact with management. They'd rather hide behind their computers and ask if you could email them. After you send an email, be prepared for them to call you so there's no digital footprint of the conversation. Not to mention it takes days to receive a email back (if they ever respond). For these to be lofts catered to students, there are a lot of flaws and many times, the offices/package room are closed which can be a problem. They do host events (rarely) but in order to participate most of the time, you have to write a good review or promise to renew a lease. The swimming pool would be nice if they actually cleaned it and cared about it. It's summer time and the pool is still dirty. ***Update. Was 1 minute from getting a boot in my car this morning. Went to front office to get a parking pass, as instructed, and was given another VISITORS PASS! Wtf! This place is ghetto as hell. Do yourself a favor and don't move here, if you can help it. Which i know you can because there are plenty of apartment complexes in the area. 2 stars is now 1 because my time is continuously wasted.*** Only giving 2 stars because I needed a 2 month lease, they were able to accommodate and the unit was clean when i moved in. However, The customer service sucks, from the leasing office manger to the security desk staff. I had to call and show up to the leasing office, the day before i was due to move in, before the manager sent the necessary documents for move in. You pay for parking, it's included in rent, but it if you move in on the weekends the you have to pay via a pay to park website, after 12 am. Why wouldn't you just give me a visitors pass until Monday? Lots of trash and flies outside of entrance. The building set up is not that great, as far as moving goes. So check to see where your unit would be, in comparison to where where parking garage access is. I'm only writing this review because I'm moving to the far side of the complex on the top floor, by myself. I've been making multiple trips back and forth carrying what i could, so i decided to go to the front desk and ask if they had a wagon or dolly that i could use. Security asked for my ID, which i didn't have because my purse is in my room, because I'm moving. I understand the policy but he was there when i came to get my keys & He knows my apartment is far from the front desk. I am going to GSU. The room was supposed to be ready for move-in on Wednesday 8/18 and was told it was not ready. I went to Westmar on Thursday 8/19 and was surprised by the condition of the apartment and my room. I attached the video that was taken today. Obviously I have not stayed in Westmar yet (the room is not ready nor being cleaned yet), so I talked to leasing members that I can't stay in Westmar because the place is not ready per stipulated move in date (8/18), and the room condition made me very uncomfortable to live there. However the leasing members were unwilling to provide full refund. Wish they were more willing to work things out. As a student, now am I stuck. westmar "student" lofts is nothing short of a polished piece of crap in my 5 months living here. i think it would be appropriate expense wise if you weren't paying almost $900 for the very bare minimum and unfortunately sometimes not even that. on the surface westmar seems like a fun, social, clean, and safe place for students to live, but it is very far from this. 1. As seen in the images below there is always trash everywhere. Not just piled up at the trash chute making you run from the elevator to your door from the intense funky & unsettling smell. It is also on sidewalks, in the bushes, parking garage, and basically anywhere imaginable! this is a glorified trash dump by the looks of it at times! 2. The appeal for some is that wow only students are allowed to live here seems safer right? the security even seems pretty tight around westmar when you first sign your lease, however, anyone can live here if they are willing to deal with all the issues that come with it. Even 30-40 yr old people walking around the halls! student living i think not... & if you think this is a safe environment because of security and the front desk you are highly mistaken. in my short time here someone fell victim to gun violence and not a single tenant was informed of this tragedy. not only did a firearm go off in the building but in previous months there was also a stabbing. Way to go westmar! All we received was a text about an "incident" in the lobby! At this point i don't even feel safe here! 3. Maintenance and building up keep is a joke! From personal experience my garbage disposal was clogged & overflowing. It took maintenance 5 days & 4 calls from each of my roommates to get someone to fix a sink! we couldn't cook or clean for 5 whole days. This is only the beginning. Along with this, our door has stopped working completely 4 times. once nobody was answering so i called westmar & told them it was important that i got into my apartment soon! they came the next day and one night they even suggested i sleep in my car if nobody was answering!! Sleep in my car after i pay this unreasonable price for housing! So the 24hr maintenance isn't followed through with and completely a lie expect them to come 2-4 days after an issue! 4. parking! the parking garage is a money grabbing fee lot that preys on young college kids l! beware of where & who you park in the westmar garage. the very first night i moved in i was booted twice after nobody thoroughly explained the rules of the parking garage. If booted it is a $70 fee & i can tell you they are getting there money!! they boot day and night for what I have no clue! 5. amenities are a joke as well! what you pay for you will not be able to use during COVID with no price reduction! the gym is currently closed along with the mold that inhabits it. Also the student study rooms are closed! During this uneasy and cautious time i understand the closing of our amenities, however, we are still paying for them in our rent which is highly and utterly unreasonable. WiFi! If you need reliable and fast WiFi connection Westmar is not for you! Weekly wifi issues cause for failed zoom meetings, lagging classes, and constantly loading netflix. You cannot rely on anything Westmar assures you will have when signing a lease! 6. keys and doors. You almost have to pray one of the exterior doors open with your keys since they only work half the time. they apparently fixed them because before there were no locks on any doors except the main door, which i saw as a huge safety concern! they apparently "fixed" this by putting locks on every exterior door, however, they don't work at all & leave you in unreasonable circumstances constantly locked out! 6. Elevators never work unless it the main elevator that reaches the lobby. So you are forced to walk the stairwell, which I have no issue with if it wasn't for the constant animal waste that you may step in going up and down them! As pictured... again westmar is nasty. I could really go on and on about the unlivable features of Westmar, but really if you have absolutely no standards, low expectations, a strong stomach, loads of patiences, and $900 to waste on living in this dim lit 4x4 smelly box Westmar is the "student" housing for you! All jokes aside, do not trust the pictures or promises westmar present to you. it is false advertising at best! i highly recommend living somewhere cleaner & safer! get the most out of your money! I will not be renewing my lease & advising everyone who ask to find a better living situation since westmar is clearly not looking out for its residents! I applied and got approved for a two bedroom two bath and when I got there said I will be having a roommate after I signed the lease. If you want a private living space this is not for you! Had a horrible experience living here. I had a semi-annual lease. As they don't show you the exact apartment you are going to live in, it is hard to know the exact condition of your apartment before the day you move in. My apartment was filthy when it came to kitchen and common area when I moved in. My request to change the apartment was denied several times. They offered no COVID-19 relief in rent even when I had to move out as school had closed. I didn't stay in the apartment for 75% of my lease. I cleaned out my apartment thoroughly before move out. They still decided to slap a move out fine for charges beyond my control ( trash put by roommates in common area). The staff is extremely unprofessional and in my opinion the rent for this place is highly overrated. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

They are in the business of ripping students off and accountable to no one. The policy that I was told last time I visited was that you had to pay if you were staying pass 12am (overnight), but apparently now that the visitation pass is 24 hours you have to pay as soon as you park. I've been in westmar about 6 months & this 6 months has been the worst out of my life. ever since i moved in i regretted every decision that made me think about even looking up westmar. on move in day i was given a room that looked like it was trashed 3 years ago and nobody went to go look. when you walked in, it looked like hell & smelled like new york. animal toys/food scattered throughout the living room, there was old trash bags that were left in there with food which caused they whole apartment to stink. there were nats flying around and please dont get me started on the roaches. i asked to move units but was told i couldn't do so for some reason, so i had to reach out to my parents so they could talk to management and get my room switched. within my first 2 full months of being here, i was chased out of the parking lot by the booting company to the point to where i was concerned for my life & when i mentioned it to the office i was told there was nothing they could do and that it was above them. I am 21 years old coming straight from the conutry, i have seen more roaches here than i have in my entire life. the only day i haven't seen a roach in my room are the days im out of town & dont sleep here. there is a hole in my wall where roaches crawl through and im guessing they have a nest setup in there. i mentioned it to management and i was told " thats just how the building was setup, theres nothing we can do about it. i even put myself on pest control 4 weeks straight 2 months ago and i still woke up & seen a roach today. pest control here dont even do nothing, i've witnessed first hand a pest control specialist that works for the building come in to the unit, ask if anyone was home stayed for 30 seconds and walked out... im tired of this building and somebody needs to put a stop to all this! read more

9/24/17 - Still never heard from any management at WestMar, and never heard from anybody at Cardinal Management Group either. I'm not surprised. They are full of shit and just screw these teenagers/young adults around because they can. It's pretty sad they false advertise, misrepresent their apartments and living and lie that they care about their tenants and have this b.s. Mission statement that they don't follow. I will continue to be diligent even if they continue to not respond and will file complaints everywhere I can until I do get a response. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!! GO ELSEWHERE! For Westmar Student Lofts to be catered towards the student population, one can very clearly see that is not the case for this complex. From not being able to break leases, to threatening tanking young adults credit scores with collection accounts, to the many hidden fees, the parking fees and boots, the broken elevators, the loud hallways, the unclean community areas, the horrible roommate pairing system, etc. It is very well-known that this is NOT a place that I personally would recommend to anyone; ESPECIALLY students who need accommodations and an understanding staff when trying times arise--like a global pandemic. It really is a shame. The amenities are not what they're cracked up to be. Don't pay for any upgrades to the rooms, they're all horrible I promise it is NOT worth the extra money. ALSO, the rent is just ridiculously expensive for what you get. It's also very loud--there's a train nearby. The vending machines, including the pharmacy machine, are EXTREMELY overpriced. Another thing, DO NOT think you'll be able to move out without paying any fees. They're going to get you for something. Whether it's something broken in the apartment that was ALREADY broken before you moved in, or you moved out one second late, or your keys weren't turned in by 12pm, it will be something and the fee will be $250 plus more. I wouldn't be surprised if they charged you another month's rent. It is just not worth it. At the end of the day, it is very clear that this is a business first. They do not care who they are robbing at the end of the day. It just really sucks that most students already are stressed, don't have much in the finance department, and have a million and one other things on their plate and Westmar adds to it. READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN A LEASE AT WESTMAR!!!! if you can move somewhere else, please do! make this place a last resort! and notice all the 5 star reviews are for one specific person and not from actual residents. the one star reviews are true!!! - well for starters the model rooom is nothing like what you actually get. especially if you don't spend the extra 10 bucks to get the hallway room. your room seems like half the size of the model room. and if you want to switch room after you discover this you get to pay a $250 transfer fee. and the room was not cleaned when i moved in, i had to reclean it despite paying a full months rent to move in mid august "for all the rooms to be cleaned" - also if there's already residents in your room, only your bedroom is "cleaned" the common areas are untouched - there is MOLD in the gym all over the ceilings . they tried to paint over it but you can still see it (see pictures) the gym is also cleaned maybe once a week?? and the machines are never cleaned - these air filters in the buildings are trash , they look disgusting and like the air vents have polluted air coming out of them (see pictures) - if you have any issues with your room and need maintenance be prepared to wait a couple weeks for it, hopefully you're not me and your shower is clogged for that amount of time... that's not fun. - the hallways constantly smell like weed and trash, the trash chutes are overflowing constantly. - the fire alarms go off almost every week and they are super loud and super long. the power has also gone out numerous times for insane amounts of time. - i stopped taking the elevator in the parking garage bc for one it has been broke for majority of the time and i have gotten stuck on it twice. never again , so prepare to always use the stairs. oh and watch out for the roaches and trash scattered throughout the parking garage and stairwells :) - i had an issue with the community manager and wanted to respectfully speak with someone above her to get my issue resolved, well i get a bogus email to contact someone at cardinal mgmt that i emailed about 5 times and have never gotten a response #TOTHISDAY. - hope you don't have to get a rental car during your stay here bc you will have to park on the 5th floor every day. i got in an accident and totaled my car and had a rental car for a couple months... guess where i had to park every single day?? and get a new parking pass every week and mike would not accommodate me. that's terrible that i pay almost 900 in rent but was forced to park on the 5th floor bc "they're trying to keep residents safe" not sure how the two add up but okay. really frustrating and yes the car was in my name and yes i spoke to the person in charge of parking. ended up forgetting one day to get a parking pass and had to pay $75 to get a boot off my car from a place i pay rent to live in. - 2nd the parking gate was broken for the first 6months of me living here, they conveniently fixed it around super bowl weekend. that wasn't keeping the residents safe for that period of time, but if money is being compromised oh they will fix it immediately. - most of the staff has been nice but most of the time just lazy and not doing much. - doing a lot of construction right across the way which is pretty inconvenient, there's been many times i have to sit and wait just to leave the complex because they have only one lane open due to construction. - if you have to take the shuttles to school good luck! they hold about 20 ppl which is greatly insufficient for the amount of students at a student lofts. it's always overcrowded. and it's dangerous in fact to packed on those little buses and basically have nowhere to hold on. bus drivers pull off fast with disregard for all the students standing in the aisle. i've also experienced the bus drivers see me walking towards them waving my hand and still pulling off. not sure why they can't wait an extra 10 seconds if they see a student obviously trying to catch the shuttle. - almost forgot that roommate match is bogus af, me and my roommmates have nothin in common, and none of us even go to the same school, have similar study or cleaning habits, so be prepared to live with complete strangers. overall i will not be renewing my lease and i wish i saved a lot of money and just rented a room somewhere or lived somewhere else. it was not worth the money. i would not recommend anyone move in here. like i said make it a last resort. read more

I'm a guarantor of an apt located in Westmar Student lofts. My son notified the leasing office back in June that he needed to sublet (they call it re-let) in order to take a job in another state. We agreed with the Westmar Student Loft leasing office on an Aug. 1stmove-out but due to missteps and lack of promised follow-through by the complex, we have been unable to rent the apt.  We've had to change the move-out date twice. The last and unacceptable straw is that a veteran-- returning to school--needed a place and wanted the apartment however, he COULD NOT reach anyone in the leasing office after several attempts. We've spoken to 200+ people interested in the apt.  Close to 40 have shared frustrations of unanswered phones; no returned calls; and several were told that the apt wasn't available-- or would not be available --until Sept. To add further insult,  the leasing office phone lines and wifi were out of service for a few days. AND no one from Cardinal Group Companies nor Westmar Student Lofts has returned our calls or emails requesting their help to resolve this issue(s). Being a responsible tenant, paying rent on time, and doing what was required by us to re-let the apt has not guaranteed decent or competent treatment or behavior by Westmar or Cardinal Group Companies. READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU COME HERE thank goodness I'm finally about to be out of my lease. It's infested with roaches and ants, There's fights, car robbings, and shootouts here at least once or twice a week, they will boot your car at times for legitimately no reason even if you are a resident, there's been cases of rape, two roommates got stabbed by the other roommate, ALSO THEY HAVE SQUATTERS HERE ALL THE TIME ITS NOT SAFE, the freaking fire alarms go off ALL THE TIME through the whole building and it will last for 30 minutes, it's dirty as hell, the security guards are just there to eat and smoke weed, the cops are always here multiple times a week for nonsense, it's so ghetto omfg. Some of the residents start drama an fights like high school, it's LOUD so u will never get any peace because all hours of the night u will hear door slamming or screaming. The maintenance requests will go unattended for days especially the pest control ones, they won't even allow to to call actual pest control. OH also there's BLACK MOLD in the bathroom tubs of the units, flimsy desks and countertops, tore tf up blinds an all. The hallways are filthy and smell like dog piss, the staff is so nonchalant and unprofessional except for Taylor. So if you wanna live at a trap house this is your place to be. read more

Apartments are dirty, look nothing like the show room. Apartments are also roach infested and show up like clock work as the sun goes down at 8pm. Pest control never comes. Maintenance and Management walked into my room when I was naked UNANNOUNCED to replace a couch that had one (1) small scratch. When asked to leave and come back another day they refused. I currently live at Westmar and let me start off by saying this is the worst student housing ever. Wait...its not really student housing because they allow NONSTUDENTS to live here. When I first moved in they failed to tell me that there was somebody already living in the 4th bed room and also the kitchen wasn't cleaned. There is mold everywhere, gnats, roaches, stink bugs, and ants. And I was right by the trash shoot and it always over flowed into the hall way and made the whole hall way stink. And the fire alarm goes off every night. Please if you are reading this, do not stay here all the bad reviews are true. read more

These people are literally in kahoots with the state to make sure they boot every new resident at least once. You will be booted. You will be overcharged on a consistent basis. You will hate where you live. There's trash chutes in the hallways which enables bugs and roaches to ingest EVERYONES units. They're extremely rude. They know wtf they're doing and I'm going to spread the word everywhere. I just paid 275 over my actual real rent. Run run run run run run run run run before the roaches catch up to you. ZERO STARS!! Please please please find somewhere else to live other than westmar!! I lived here for 2 years and the rent was relatively cheap in the beginning but please consider paying abit more to live somewhere else. 1. The demo room they show you during your tour looks nothing like the actual apartment. I lived in the standard unit and frankly It was bottom of the barrel. The walls were poorly painted with paint droplets left on the floor and the desk area. There were stains on the wall and when you address these issues with the leasing office and maintenance you either get the run around or It takes them forever to fix the problem. 2. The hallways are ALWAYS dirty and either smell like weed or trash. Trash piles up in the hallways for 2-3 days which makes the roach problem in the building even worse. I've brought this issue up with the leasing office time and time again. Not a single exterminator or cleaner was sent to the unit. 3. The shuttle drivers were RUDE and petty for no reason. They don't abide by the schedule they're supposed to follow regarding what specific times to leave the complex. Unreliable transportation that YOU'RE PAYING FOR!! 4. The printer in the study room never worked. Leasing office never did anything to address this issue even after multiple residents brought It to their attention. 5. Finding a working elevator is like playing the lottery. Good Luck! 6. Security is a joke! The doors by the parking deck are broken so literally anyone can get into the building. 7. The staff talk to you any kind of way and try to belittle you with ultimate disrespect. Piss poor customer service. 8. They booted people's cars ON MOVE OUT DAY! They say you can't park on levels 1-4. You follow their rules by parking on the guest level AND get a pass from security yet you still get booted. $75 per boot. 9. The air filters are rarely changed. I had to get my parents to call the leasing office for maintenance to replace an air filter from 2018 in my unit. 10. The gym is dirty! Most equipment is not functional and there is mold and debris on the gym ceiling. You're breathing all this in as you work out! 11. The fire alarm goes off randomly every other month at odd hours. It takes them forever to turn it off. 12. Maintenance is a Joke! The washer in my unit flooded the common area and even with calling the office multiple times, maintenance didn't arrive till THE NEXT DAY! Again PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find somewhere else to live!
