The sunflower walk is really nice, lots of tall sunflowers and some great spots to take pictures. Last year they had art (of minions) interspersed throughout. We also went strawberry picking and they had SO many strawberries. Just rows and rows. They tasted so good too - juicy, sweet, flavourful. Definitely way better than the ones you buy on plastic cartons at the grocery store. You can either pay for one of their baskets (and you can get like a dollar back if you return it), or you can bring your own basket as long as it is labeled with how many Litres it holds. A 2L basket is $14 for you to pick and fill.

When we reached the white tent, the employee asked what we were there for since there's the sunflower walk, picking strawberries and veggies from the farm, and cutting your own bouquets of flowers. For the sunflower walk, she directed us to the hut a little further away, and we could pay there. The walk there was filled with cardboard cutouts with face holes with Toy Story characters. It's currently $5.25 per person, free for those under three years of age, and $3.25 per person if you're cutting flowers on the same day. Paying was easy with a tap of a credit card. The sunflower walk starts at the bales of hay. We saw plenty of bees on the sunflowers and there were many photo opportunities with the Minions from Despicable Me. They were painted as recreations of famous paintings.  We didn't pick our own veggies, but it was interesting to see how they're grown. Some of the veggies that we saw were Swiss chard, kale, zucchini, bell peppers, green onions, leeks, pyo beans, beets, radishes, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and cabbage. Their farm market has these veggies for sale already picked as well as other products like honey, bouquets of flowers, and strawberries.

We were nearby strawberry picking, and decided to drive the extra 10 minutes to come here for lunch. Tried 2 of the sandwiches, and 2 pastries (croissant and apple rosette) The pastries were pretty good, though not that memorable. They were about $3 each. The sandwiches were $14 each and they were just ok. We felt they were very overpriced for what they were - it was just a sandwich with a few things inside, doesn't come with any sides. We paid inside at the counter - it was a bit confusing because they had 2 counters and the one we went to didn't have staff there. We waited a while and someone came though. After we ordered, the machine prompted to tip (min amount was 18%, or there was option to skip). We tipped the 18% as we were planning to eat on their picnic table outside and they said they'd bring the food out to us. After tax and tip, everything was around $45. The food took very long to arrive though. Had to wait at least 15 mins and then to find that the sandwiches were not that substantial. And we left still hungry. The plus side is that while we were waiting for our food, there was stuff to check out such as their little fruit and veggie market, and their gift shop. All in all, a cute place! For us, food was meh and overpriced, but you definitely get an amazing ambiance. If I come back I don't think i would order the food again, but probably just some drinks to enjoy the outdoor space and soak in the nature.

I like to reward quality as there (sadly) seems to be a lack of it today. We initially had it delivered but unless you're a contractor and ordering a lot of it - you are better off to rent an open trailer from uhaul and go up to Nobleton yourself. Beautiful drive, 30 mins from T.O.and Boynton Bros. will load it up for you. Due to time constraints we ended up buying 100 rolls of sod from Home Depot and we are so sorry that it worked out this way! There is no comparison at all. We could have gone a week in advance and and left the Boynton Bros sod lying around for a week rather than Home Depot's stuff and we would be in better shape. Don't misunderstand me, HD is a wonderful company, but I wish they would order their sod from this family run business. When we received our sod from Boynton it was green and standing up firm. It rooted in *less* than a week. This other stuff? I think we will be lucky if 1/2 of it survives. Oh and the HD sod smells like wet dog (IMHO). Bottom line (IMHO): Boynton Sod EXCELENT, $2.00 per roll, (contractors $1.65. not that I like to help you *expletives* out) HD, great company but sod, Not good, $2.89 per roll. The savings will more than cover the cost of a trailer rental ($14.00-$20.00 u haul) and if you order enough, maybe cover the cost of a trailer hitch too!! Lol. This review may sound like I work for Boynton, not so. I have just been ripped off so often by soo many "CON"tractors and service providers in the past that quality and good service today is so refreshing!! Good on you Boynton and thank you!
