I know that sounds dramatic…read more When asking why letters in the mail regarding a payment schedule arrived 10 days after the payment schedule started, I was pretty shocked by the reply I got. There was some patronizing commentary about how I should have known the payment schedule simply by keeping an eye on all the transactions in my bank account and seeing it come out after the fact. I understand they were in an awkward position, but being treated as a client in that way from any business would be terrible. I don't think insurance has immunity from providing polite customer service. I would not recommend this company. If anything goes wrong with your payment schedules/ payments, or it seems like theres an error, they won't be able to help or get back to you for a while and you'll get left in the lurch.

The vehicle insurance company staff were very attentive to customer needs, at least the insurance agents that I dealt with were like that. This company has the ability to do business on the phone and in person visits, which makes it very convenient. Some of the other insurance brokers are still stuck in the old ways of doing business only in person visits, which is not very flexible.

She is incredibly helpful with my many questions and always helps to make me more informed on everything to do with my freelancing and individual taxes. As a woman with only a basic understanding of personal finance, working with Brenda has been really helpful. She's even called the CRA for me when I didn't understand and email I got from them. They are also affordable, and I paid a much more doable rate than I ever did for half the service in Vancouver. Thanks so much. Highly recommend! Not having used them before, I emailed someone named Brenda at Pain Free Tax, asking if she had a…read morePTIN number(needed for anyone being paid to do cross-border taxes) and any other credentials that would allow me to feel safer sending past tax returns to a complete stranger, since they would include my social insurance number, social security number and much more in the way of sensitive personal information. She assured me she had a PTIN, and asked if a video meeting would reassure me(I live in a different province). I reiterated that the credentials would help me to go forward, in a friendly manner, as I felt a bit uncomfortable asking. This is what she emailed me back(draw your own conclusions - it certainly told me enough): "Good Day Audrey, I cannot  provide you with my PTIN number via email- It is like your tax data- confidential information. You seem to have significant hesitancy around this process. At this point we have decided to decline to provide tax services for you." My mother went to buy car insurance before it expires on December 24, 2018. The fat Chinese older…read morewoman at the front desk was rude, incompetent, and seem to just take the money order. She gave my mother another customer's car insurance print form after taking the money order. She refused to answer phone calls, refused to correct her mistakes, told my mother to sit and wait, until my mother yelled at her to stop messing around and print her the correct car insurance forms because she had already gave out the decal sticker. She even claimed there was no record even after she took the money order. This broker deserves zero stars for this staff's rude, incompetent, unprofessional service. She was behaving like a total bitch and purposefully so. My mother told her she thought she would not dare to be so bad if she was not another Chinese person, but a white caucasian senior female customer. I think the staff person is named Peggy?
