Six corners is my favorite stop when out here for wine. They always have something new to try…read morethat's actually good. Service is always friendly and accommodating. They will deliver the same or next day. From Montauk to Manhattan they state but so far just tried locally and had happily surprised friends. A good selection of champagnes from well known and small batch producers. Good Italian and some good local North Fork wines. My favorite is their Sparkling Point for a festive east end toast.

I've also loved sampling the wines they have by the counter that are on discount, though the last one I took a gamble on was corked and I couldn't drink it. In addition to wines and liquors I was happy to find that they also had a few mixers (like Zing Zang bloody mary mix) which I was happy to find as it saved me a trip to the grocery store. Their hours are also very convenient, I was happy to find they were open past 5 pm on weekdays. The wines are organized by region, but if you're having any trouble finding something you're in the mood for there's always someone there who is willing to help.

They had a nice Marsala, but only an Amontillado blend. No worries, got a fino sherry. I saw a bottle of Riunite Lambrusco, and had to laugh. It was $13. I told one of the owners that we used to drink it in college, because it was $3 a bottle, This is a nice local business, and the people there are friendly and helpful. Prices are fair. NY runs about $4-6 higher per bottle than CO, so I was prepared. Sometimes it's painful to have a photographic memory, because I remember exactly how much I've paid for favorite wines. Oh well. The store is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find specific wines or spirits.
