These are some disgusting people. They lied to me saying that my insurance is in network, with the work that was gonna be done, they said I have to pay $250. I paid it and continued with the procedure. After the procedure they said they mistyped something and said I owe 575$ more. This business needs to be shut down! They are nasty! read more

**Update from my original review below** I forgot to update this after finding a new, professional dentist. Westgate Dental told us that our daughter had 7-8 cavities. We went and got a second opinion after our failed follow up visit. She has ZERO cavities. Teeth are all fine. Had the new dentist double check and again, not a single issue. Westgate Dental seems to want to fleece customers/insurance by doing unnecessary work that would only cause pain and future dental issues. Avoid this company like the plague they are!! ----ORIGINAL Review---- We were not happy with the staff on our first visit here for our daughter but we decided to stick with them for her follow up appointment. They had the nerve to call us the morning of the appointment and get rude with us because we were not able to be flexible on arrival times. I visited this office June 10th for a consultation on a bridge. 1st red flag is that even though my insurance covers my x-rays, they charge you $50 for them to take them. 2nd red flag, I called a few days later for some medication for the tooth that needs a root canal. I called on a Thursday and she told me the doctor would look at end of the day. I never heard back from them. I called about a week later to see what's going on and seems like the nice front office girl did not know and put me on a hold for eternity and never came back. My medication is still a mystery over a month later. The office was supposed to be getting a prior authorization for the work that needs to be done to my tooth and it's been over a month and they haven't said anything. If anything, this was a waste of a visit. read more

My mom has alzheimers and had many dental issues. They were all so sweet to her and understanding. Took care of everything in one visit and worked with us financially. I can not recommend them highly enough! Thank goodness we had them and now Mom can eat comfortably again. read more

I have dental anxiety. So although I made the decision to go to Dr. Edwards for my long overdue extractions; I still had some reservations. But she made me feel comfortable and reassured me along the way. Before I knew it the extractions were completed quickly with no pain. I 10/10 recommend giving Westgate Dental a try. In our 27 years of military service, we've never had such poor treatment from a medical facility. This business has been unethical and dishonest in their dealings with our active-duty military family. We were led to believe our cleanings and exams would be fully covered and that Westgate Dental was in network with our insurance. They had all our information up front (socials, ID cards) a whole week before our appointments, knew our concerns, and never mentioned or estimated any possible out of pocket costs. When I came to discuss the bill in person, they agreed to see me but would not allow me to speak with the owner. I let them know I would wait quietly until the owner was ready and the office manager told me, "You need to leave" and said it didn't matter how long I waited the owner would not speak with me.
