They try so hard that the doctor will tell you to smile and he will literally rate your smile on a scale of 1-10 and be like "ehh, it's like a 5. I'll make sure you see our billing/insurance/accountant person to see what we do for you regarding invasalign." Never agreed to it. Never even said I wanted it. Never expressed concerns over my "smile." (Not to mention, I had braces before) Doctor goes on to continue to "rate" my teeth's whiteness and trying his hardest to convince me to do their teeth whitening treatment. Again, without even asking if I wanted it done. Says the billing lady will walk me through that too. I get my cleaning done, it was okay. They put me in a dark, weird room for me to "wait" for the billing lady just for me to tell her no and after telling her no countless times, she still proceeds to show me different payment plans for treatments I already said I don't want. I get it, it's a chain dental company. But like DANG, no is no. They are absolutely pushy. It was a one and done for me.

We went and got a second opinion after our failed follow up visit. She has ZERO cavities. Teeth are all fine. Had the new dentist double check and again, not a single issue. Westgate Dental seems to want to fleece customers/insurance by doing unnecessary work that would only cause pain and future dental issues. Avoid this company like the plague they are!! ----ORIGINAL Review---- We were not happy with the staff on our first visit here for our daughter but we decided to stick with them for her follow up appointment. They had the nerve to call us the morning of the appointment and get rude with us because we were not able to be flexible on arrival times. She was crying and could barely walk when I picked her up. She said he was very rough with her and not at all compassionate. She came home and went to sleep and died only a few hours after the procedure. There are good dentist at this location, however I wouldn't let Dr Vargas touch anyone I loved. His office knew my mom passed after the coroner called investigating and they never even reached out with sympathy. She was only 69 years old.

This was truly one of the most bizarre and disappointing experiences. I was looking for a new…read moredentist and Dr. Sandbach was recommended. Once the initial examination was through, the Dr. told me that he would not be accepting me as a patient ... absolutely no explanation for this at all - just "time for you to leave the office" ... needless to say, I was very offended - not even as much as an explanation for this rude behavior. I had insurance ... I always paid my copay in the past ... I was at a total loss for why I was treated so poorly.
