I've seen third-world countries have a better infrastructure than this mall. Sadly, that isn't an exaggeration as I felt many parts of the exterior of the Westfield Broward were a bad area. The parking lot is an atrocious disaster, with the roads around it being so slim you can barley fit a car through, and it seemed like it needed paving and possibly an expansion. The outside look of the actual mall is quite drab, and not very vibrant at all. All these are my thoughts before I even stepped out of my car. I never felt safe while I was at Westfield Broward mall, both inside and outside of the mall. Stepping inside the mall I had a much better impression. I will give props to the food court area which sported a lot of locations to choose from for food, and plenty of room for growth of more places. But even this aspect has its downfall, which was that only one place was giving out samples, no bueno. The mall didn't seem that huge, nor was it high end. No store I passed really peaked my interest enough to go in, so mainly just walked around. I came to this mall out of convenience because I had some time to kill to walk around and explore here. In the time I was here, it made an impression on me, one that will almost certainly insure I won't be back. read more

I am not a big fan of malls or strip shops but Westfield is well laid out. There are the usual anchor tenants along with the many small shops and a decent sized food court. Plenty of parking and centrally located make this a must stop mall. read more

This is your typical mall . . . Macy's, JCPennys, Dillards and Sears . . . no more, no less. I don't go out here often only because I find the path to Coral Square and the Galleria easier for myself but there is nothing wrong with this mall. I'm trying to figure out the definition of "sketchy" by other reviewers . . . I have my ideas but whatever. They do have great parking and it isn't as packed as it once used to be with the Sawgrass not far and so much bigger . . . plus it is right next to 2 other malls/shopping centers so that takes away as well. This mall is missing the "wow" factor, which is why it only is getting 3 stars from me, but its perfectly fine for a non crowded, let me shop "in my zone" experience. read more

This is such a convenient mall for me, not too small & not too big that I get lazy from all the walking. Includes the major department stores--Macy's, Dillard's, JcPenney, & Sears--& the outside mall including but not limited to Hollister, Love Culture, Papaya, Agaci, Sirens, Victoria's Secret, Payless Shoes, A Things Remembered, incredible food court that includes desserts, jewelry stores, & GNC. Also restaurants such as Red Robin's, Whole Enchilada & Buffalo Wild Wings. They even recently had a major renovation that includes a movie theater with RPX! I love that it has everything here. They're always changing & closing a couple stores for some reason which I find annoying but the ones that matter always stay so this is my go to mall for my shopping necessities read more

Let me start off by saying that I do not go to the mall very often. The only reason I came to this mall was because it had a male Express and the Galleria, which is right by my house, does not. The parking is pretty good here. I had not problem finding a spot despite the holiday season. The people are a little sketchy not very friendly from the few stores I went to. (Express, Macy's, and Dillards) They had really aggressive salespeople in the kiosks within the mall, which I hate. In 2 out of the 3 stores I went to, clothes were all over the place. I know it is the holiday season, but the stores looked like my room when I was 10 years old. To top off my no so great experience, I wanted a pretzel and the line was too long to wait for it :/ If you can avoid going here, do it. If not, just get in and get out. read more

Im giving this Mall a 1 star!. My good friend that recently had a baby, went to the mall 11-3-2018 with her newborn. While feeding her newborn, 3 ladies steal her BABY BAG which included her newborns umbilical cord and $300 of her Christmas money to buy gifts for her children! All stolen! When security was asked to help with the situation, my friend was told that there is nothing that they can do because the cameras didnt pick up any motion! Are you kidding me!? So what Broward mall is telling me is that they have cameras that dont work!? So why do they even have security, IF THEY CANT DO THEIR JOB! Good for nothing! Absolutely horrible. This mall just got downgraded to lauderhill mall status in my book! Might as well be a flea market, but even flea markets have better cameras than broward mall! Ventured to this mall on Monday to help my daughter find several outfits for her sorority activities. Dillards had the white dress at the right price. Francesca's had a great sales associate - Ashley , who was very familiar with sorority requirements and had my daughter in several great dresses quickly. We found everything in less than an hour and Ashley even offered my daughter a student discount! She was wonderful. Highly recommend this location for great and friendly service. read more

In terms of safety I offer this mall 1 star. I was leaving the mall with my mom and baby and we were approached by two men who rushed us like stealth pumas pulling the chains off our necks and ran away through the parking lot. We were not parked far. It was 2 pm and the parking lot was full, just not of people. There were no security guards in the vicinity. We called the police and made a report. We don't expect to hear anything back. Especially if you have a small child with you, be extra careful. read more

my 2 year old son and I were spending the day at the Broward mall. We stopped at the Toys r Us express shop, my son wanted to play with the train which was set up in front of the store. After about 10 minutes of quiet play in the presence of store employees, an Officer of Plantation PD walks up and tells me that my 2 year old son should be careful while walking near the table bringing me 2 train cars to connect together. I gave him a confused look since my child had the train cars completely under control. He then proceeded to make offensive hand gestures as if to imitate sign language and stated 'what's the matter you don't understand what I'm saying to you'. I responded 'no I don't'. He replied with you break it you buy it'. I asked was this the store policy or his own. He said 'his' then he threatened me with jail time if my 2 year old broke a 60$ train and I couldn't pay for it. I asked for his name he gave it to me angrily then walked off. Afterwards two men who had witnessed the event asked why the officer was so upset. I explained the situation. One of the men worked at Toys r Us and shared that it was not a store policy and that children are encouraged to play with toys at touch points. Prior to the officer's arrival my son and I had been playing happily for over 10 minutes with the same train. I felt both bullied and harassed by the officer. I was also greatly offended at the mock sign language. Most concerning is the fact that given the current state of relations between police and African Americans, you would think that an officer would be more selective on what and when to intervene. I could understand if my child were unruly or causing a scene through reckless behavior, he was just enjoying his dad on dad's day off from work. This whole incident was completely uncalled for and it literally ruined my day. Which besides being a day off happened to be my birthday. The mall needs to seriously consider how to partner with local law enforcement in order to provide better experiences to potential patrons. read more

The mall got a make over but they only get one star from me as the food court fails. NO Pizza? Who has a mall with no Pizza? I just wanted a slice not a whole meal. I ended up with Luke warm food from that Panda chain. Fancy looking eateries and the busiest place was that ChickfilAyyy.... Take a hint. The WiFi vanished in the food court. I guess it's eat and get out. I used to like this mall looks like their trying to cater to the upscale crowd but are missing the mark. No Pizza no me. I'll be shopping at a mall with pizza. The pretentious food offerings won't last. Oh and where's your Starbucks? I thought ever mall has one. At least get a descent coffee joint. No pizza? No Coffee maybe it's Armageddon and the world is ending starting at the mall. read more

I know I'm bucking the trend here, but I actually like this mall. Yes, it's not flashy or fancy. Yes, it might not have all the cool stores. However, I have a number of reasons I like it nevertheless. 1) It is in a convenient location, not too far from 595. 2) The parking lot is not stuffed to capacity, and you don't have to walk very far. 3) Once you are inside, it is small, and again you don't have to walk very far to cross the entire mall. 4) It has some of my favorite stores such as New York and Company, Express, Teavana, etc. The only store I miss is the Limited, which those are typically only one or two per area anyways. Lastly, the store is pleasant enough inside. I find myself usually wanting to come to this mall first even though many malls are just as close. read more

For the most part, if you've seen one mall around here, you've seen them all. This one has a Macy's, a Victoria's Secret, a Bakers and a Pandora store. That's really pretty much all I need in my life, so as far as I'm concerned, it serves its purpose. read more

Came to this mall for some tax free shopping. The mall has a lot of parking space which I really love! It's nice to not fight over parking. They also have a theater which is pretty cool. The mall is small but it had a pretty good amount of stores. The stores that they do have amount really for the most part nice stores. They are always changing stores so I always find a new store with different styles every time I shop here. They have a pretty decent food court with popular restaurant chains such as Chick-fil-A, Auntie Anne's pretzels, and many others. I found a lot of clothes that fit my style and definitely made a dent in my account. I definitely love this mall and would recommend it for those that don't like crowded malls. read more

This mall needs to get rid of that churro place or build a better ventilation system. All you smell is that nasty grease from that place when you walk into the mall. This mall is ordinary. But it recently opened a movie theatre, which is cool. They added a few smaller chain shops like Francesca's and redid the food court too. The smell though is what prevents me from coming here more often. read more

I keep seeing reviews on this mall sucking because its dead... but anyone who hates traffic knows this is the mall to go to. Compared to Sawgrass mall, this is my go to mall for almost all my shopping. I love the parking and I dont have to deal with people stopping in the middle of the walkway with their suitcases and smartcartes or a bunch of tweens running around doing nothing. Ive loved this mall since I was a kid when it was only known as Broward mall, not Westfield. I even worked at this mall and man was it relaxing compared to other retail jobs in other malls. Plus, the new store selections are awesome and they have better food in the area compared to other malls. Just down the street is burgerfi, chic fil a, and Ale house. Come on, much better choices than the bigger malls, in my opinion. read more

This mall has been around for a while. You can find just about anything you need. It's central, there's always parking and it has wonderful upgrades that have been done recently. If you can't find it here there is another large, outlet mall nearby, but I always start here! Nice family mall, no stress or big crowds. read more

So on vacation, i went to visit this mall. I havent shopped there in about 2yrs. They have made great changes to the mall, specifically the food court. Broward Westfield Mall is a smaller mall but it still has the basics & everything you need, pleasant modernized decor, clean restrooms, friendly and I felt safe walking around by myself for the day. Dillards, Sears, Penneys, Macy's were the anchor stores with several other apparel stores scattered in between, a few I've never heard of before. It's a slower paced mall & I'd say try it out & if your not happy, drive over to the other malls. Parking is easy. read more

i been going to this mall since 1986, it was pretty top notch for a run of the mill mall. right now after picking up a item at sears, i walked the mall and seen way to many athletic apparell/ sneaker shops. and way to many carts in the middle selling nonsense that nobody wants. tell ya the truth, there is nothing at that mall that i need or have to get, unless i lived out that way. demographics change, and i see a shopping center for thugs on the horizon. read more

I actually live about 3 minutes from the newly redesigned Westfield Broward Mall and I love all the new additions of restaurants! Especially Brio!! And what Plantation has been missing for years-finally a beautiful new "state of the art" Regal Movie Theater! Yippiee! How nice to be able to shop, dine, and have entertainment so close to home! I love Macy's and Dillard's there and it's great on a Saturday to be able to drop my car off at Sears to have it serviced while I shop the mall! This past Easter I took my Granddaughters there to see the Easter Bunny just as I had done with their Mommy when she was a baby! I love how the mall keeps all the wonderful Holiday traditions for the families to enjoy! Good job to whomever is running the mall! Keep up the good work!! read more

Epic Fail guys!! Google stores open for Black Friday and B&B at Westfield mall open 6-12 and then again at 6 am!! Guess what's NOT open at 6 pm!! Every year you all keep your hours a "secret" because your employees when asked never know when you're going to be open, so you have to play the guessing game!! Not really impressed, a lot of cheap shoes stores throughout the store which they can invest theses spaces in better quality stores. It's one of the smallest malls I've been too and I would think that it would make the most of the space it has! I LOVE this mall for many reasons. First of all it's not ultra snobbish like Bal Harbor or Aventura and prices are reasonable. A frozen yogurt in most malls costs 5 dollars but 10 in Aventura mall and they expect a tip! I LOVE the fact that there's a beautiful movie theater with the entrance to the theater inside Broward Mall. The movie theater is unique looking. The entire mall is clean and kept up and people are pleasant. read more

I am amazed at the renovation this mall has undergone since I first starting going over 20+ years ago. The newly renovated common areas are really modern and inviting. I am enjoying the addition of Red Robin to list of restaurants this mall houses because there isn't another one around for miles. This mall has the stores I like and others my family like to shop at. The mall has been undergoing some fabulous changes recently, and it really shows! No longer just a shopping destination, some awesome restaurant experiences are now available to enjoy, including Brio and The Whole Enchilada (love that place!), and of course the theater is positive new touch as well. However, what has really won me over is their commitment to helping out local charities. Most recently they hosted a national event called Canstruction, which benefitted local charities here in Broward, such as Hope Outreach of Davie. I love that even through the business of all upgrades, they still find ways to help out the local community! read more

Within the past year, or so, the mall had been updated with a Movie theater, restaurants, and stores. However, there are a lot of sports shoe stores, same old food court, and annoying kiosks (which is pretty typical anyways). Overall, I would say it's a nice mall with a reasonable variety of stores. read more
