These Sydney shopping centres sure are huge, and this one is no exception. Being quite close to the railway station also helps, but then again the entire monstrosity literally takes up two whole blocks. Like a lot of these shopping centres, this place certainly has a decent range of shops, as well as all of the usual suspects. Oh, and the food hall is pretty decent as well with a good range of offerings. read more

*This review is geared more towards Americans but can be for anyone not from this area* This is like Mall of America. It's huge! There are about 3 super large floors. I would suggest taking the bus or the train to Westfield (There is a bus stop right outside the entrance and a train station right about a good 5-minute walk from there) You could drive but the parking garage on a weekend is like typical mall traffic during Black Friday but worse. We went on a Saturday before and it took us about an hour to park. I'm not lying. ONE hour to find a parking space. The entire bottom parking garage is reserved for the valet/car wash service. Traffic is also one way so everyone leaving the parking garage has to get into the line with everyone looking for a parking spot. They have a little thing that tells you how many spaces are available on each floor but that won't matter because it's going to take you forever and a day to get to the next floor. Enough about the parking, let's get into the actual mall itself. The mall is like a one stop for everything you may need. There are two food courts (The huge one near the ALDI's and a mini one in front of the woolsworth) The little mini food court has a mini farmers market like set up there as well. Yes people can grocery shop at a mall and they do have cool escalators for your shopping cart. If you need a OPAL Card, which is the bus/train card, you can get one at the Woolsworth Customer Service if you just got into Sydney and didn't get one at the airport. I would suggest checking the directory just to see the "YOU ARE HERE" circle. I have gotten lost many times in the mall just because it's so huge. Thankfully there are tons of comfortable seating because your feet will hurt. Mall hours (or trading hours) are not like what it is in the States. The mall is open from about 9:30 am to 6pm except for Thursdays when its open till 9pm. These are just for the stores, the restaurants and the movie theater have different operating hours just like in other malls. Those restaurants and the movie theater are located at the very top. They have separate parking for those but I would still suggest taking Uber/bus/Train anything but a car if you don't know where you're going. Be sure to check out the very large tree that is in front of the woolsworth area. At night all the really loud birds go there and you can hear from quite a distance. Overall this mall is a great way to get some exercise in and a great way to spend the day. read more

Want a shopping Mecca where you easily get lost shopping till your hearts content? Westfields Miranda or as the locals still call it 'Miranda fair', has just had a massive make over and extension and it looks awesome. The new sections which boasts a lot of food and a few boutique shops looks awesome and inviting. This place is so big I got lost and went around in circles about 4 times but each time I discovered another awesome shop. It has your general shops you would find like target, myer, david jones, big w, toys r us, just to name a few. If your in the area I would definitely check it out if I were you :) read more

It's a bit of a concrete jungle at the moment as they demolish the old office towers and remodel the site. Promises to be a much better experience once it's completed late this year - 100 new specialty stores, a new-look Myer and refurbished Big W, plus a new full-line Woolworths supermarket and relocated, 10-screen multiplex Event Cinema. Will be so good to have a decent Woolies - long overdue. Just a shame they didn't save the iconic Miranda Fair star which could be seen from kms away. read more

As previously mentioned, this place has been through a refurbish and is now quite schmick. It's large though fairly well set out with plenty of resting spots and a variety and shops similar (let's be honest, they're identical all the time) to bondi junction. Probably the only truly interesting thing about it is they've opened up part of the car park on the roof (and partially downstairs) to 6-7 chain restaurants which is quite a good idea. The only downside is that each restaurants music tends to interferes with each other. Bavarian beir, grill'd and a few noodle and south american restaurants round out offerings. read more
My favorite Westfield in the Shire. First of all free all day parking - don't have to worry about it. Its big so you can find all the shops you are looking for. Doesn't have those massive crowds like in the city so shopping is more relaxing. And if you are not on the shopping mood any more Lind cafe is just right there waiting for you. read more
Ok seriously, this is like the biggest shopping mall i've entered since landing in Sydney. I literally got lost. There are heaps of food stalls/eating areas and i even left with some salmon fillets and prawns. Hundreds of clothing shops and there are also a number of beauty stops in case you want a mani/pedi, wax, botox etc. Be sure to check out, Myer, Zara, TopShop, Country Road, target, david jones. Bring the kiddies because there are play areas in a lot of the zones. And remember to rest, because you will get lost. read more

This place is HUGE. If giant shopping centres similar to the ones in Asia are your cup of tea, then you will be in your element. Personally, It wears me out being dragged from shop to shop by the missus, walking from one end to another. Give me Westfields Eastgardens anyday! read more

Well Done with your excellent management after Star Wars at the midnight premier. Perhaps letting patrons know which exit is open would be considerate. 45 minutes and we are still on the roof, nowhere near an exit Great work! read more

A security guard harrased a 12 year old girl that was afraid of him and made her cry when her bag accidentally touched the fake plant . I definitely want this dude fired for explicit threats. He works at st george bank and is tan skinned and old around 5'8 . with grey hair . read more
