Western Tow is an absolute joke! Towed my spouses car out of her parking spot at our apartment complex last night. They literally have access to the system which gives them the assigned persons information and could have called her prior to towing her car. Brand new car so the permit sticker hadn't been changed over to it yet! No one reported the car to be towed! They should be able to take cars out of reserved spots unless the assigned person is asking for it to be towed! Also who the hell do they think they are that $370 is ok to charge for less than 12 hours of being on the lot? Also the lady at the front counter needs to learn some better customer service skills. To the HOA that towed our new car, we hope you choke on a chicken bone but for the towing company; they didn't damage our new Tesla at all and used proper dolly so really can't say anything bad about them. The woman was respectful to me when I came to pickup the car. Would give 5 star but the pricing is a little absurd like everything else in California. EDIT: knocking off a star. Before deciding to delete all the videos of when my car was towed, I actually decided to review them one by one. I now see that the jackasses that towed my car initially did not use a dolly, which will damage a Tesla if it's not manually placed in neutral. It's seems that only because of the lights flashing and horn honking, only then did they decide to put proper dollies under the vehicle. They did so in the middle of the street and used large tire irons to force the car high enough to get the dolly underneath which there's a good chance my car is probably screwed up underneath. Predatory! My car was just towed for a second time, while legally parked in front of my home.

Apart from the illegal way they took our car, the entire situation was handled with zero professionalism or transparency. The driver hooked the car as fast as possible without following basic safety procedures ( he had plenty of space to do so ) , clearly just trying to drag it out of our residential zone before we could ask any questions. We were literally standing next to the car, and he waited until he exited the area to start "fixing" the towing setup properly. On top of that, he gave us completely wrong information, which caused us to wait over 3 hours and eventually go home without the car -- all so they could charge extra storage fees. It felt intentional. But the real nightmare was the person at the front desk who claimed to be the manager. She refused to hear a single word, wouldn't let us finish a sentence, and her only response was basically "pay or leave." No explanation, no customer service, no professionalism. Just rude, dismissive, and shouting for no reason even though we were simply asking questions. I understand this type of business deals with frustrated customers, but that doesn't justify this level of disrespect. With the way they operate -- the rushed tow, the misinformation, the unnecessary waiting, the rudeness, and the extra charges -- this company honestly feels like a scam. read more

I'm not going to lie, my experience here did not come under good circumstances, but this is true of any towing company and the nature of their work. My rating is strictly about how this facility processes pick ups. They are on top of being informative and transparent about their fees and made picking up a car very easy. When I called to get the status of a vehicle, they provided all the information on the phone so I knew exactly what I was going to pay when I arrived. The lady at the counter who processes payment was very quick and if there is no line and you have your information with you, a transaction could take literally less than 5 minutes. Just have your license, proof of insurance or registration, and payment method available on hand immediately. Be mindful that there is a fee per day the car is there, as well as having to have the lot opened after hours in addition to the base pay. Be mindful of getting towed during the holidays or the weekends, those fees could add up. read more

Terribly ran business. They towed my boyfriend's work truck because he accidentally parked in a spot 17 instead of 27. The numbers were faded and couldn't make it out clearly. Tow company cannot tow unless they can clearly see the spot number which there is no way they could have. I know this because that's what they told me in the past. Besides that we called and asked what we need to get the vehicle out and they said a pay stub showing he works for the company. We show up with a pay stub and then they tell us we need all kinds of other documents to get the vehicle out. Like why didn't they say that on the phone so during the 2 hours we waited for them to open we could've had the paperwork ready? Wasting people's time to make money. Rude and not helpful. Let me first start with how rude the person at night was when we first got there. When I called, I was told the lot closes at 1pm so I rushed over and when I arrived I was told I had to wait 30 minutes (was not given a reason) and then I noticed the two men in the office were eating. I called back the number I had spoken with earlier and the woman called the office and relayed that they were taking their break. There is absolutely no reason that an employee should be taking a lunch break 40 minutes before the business closes (leaving only 10 minutes for wrapping up the business day). That is poor planning, poor staffing, poor customer service on their part. They either need to close for 30 minutes at the same time everyday, or stagger their lunch breaks.
