When the Skagit Valley has big storms or high winds, the power goes out, and they designed our backup battery system to manage all of our must haves for poe, like refrigerator, garage doors, some key lights, our wifi, septic system etc. In other words, when the power went, out we barely noticed. Brad and his team answered all of our questions before we committed, and were available for any after-installation questions or hit list items, of which there were only a few. It took longer than I had liked to get a response, but I did hear back from them. I was told to call the office or send an email; so, I emailed them a short description of the work with a picture. The entire process of getting an estimate took 2 business days. I requested an estimate via Yelp Sunday afternoon and received their bid Tuesday afternoon. I decided not to go with Bode's Electric because their estimate was on the higher side among the several estimates I received. In fact, their estimate along with a few others were significantly higher than a couple of bids from other companies in town (more than double). Note: Although they are listed as different companies, Bode's and West Mechanical appear to be the same company. Everyone I was in contact with was extraordinarily kind, patient, and thorough. And very willing to listen carefully and address my concerns. As usual, I wanted weird stuff. I researched and ordered my own light fixtures & switches. Fernando was willing to look online at what I was proposing and make sure it would actually work. I put off the job till I had all the pieces actually in the house and ready to install. The crew protected my home from the necessary mess, and cleaned up completely. They let me watch. Bensons really went above and beyond my expectations of customer service. Throughout our project I had questions and needed Bensons to coordinate with other contractors and they were always responsive to my needs and worked well with the other contractors to make sure that my whole renovation came together to my exact specifications.
