I took an early shuttle from the the airport with my family. We had the unique opportunity to have Dawnita as our driver. I say unique because Dawnita was amazing. She engaged with each rider and made our ride a joy. She seriously made our ride to the airport one of the highlights of our vacation. She was one in million and made our ride so pleasant that my whole family looked forward to riding with her again on our way out of Denver. When the shuttle pulled up and Dawnita was not our driver I casually asked if Dawnita was working. She was off that dayor we would have waited at the curb for her. Well done Dawnita, whatever they are paying you....you deserve a raise. Customer service is not dead. read more

Mike is a hard working and conscientious driver. He does his best to accommodate and meet the needs of passengers. I think he must be the only driver from 2pm to midnight with a 10 passenger van for at least 4 hotels. Mike is the only reason this review has two rather than one star. If you need the shuttle from the hotel before 10 am, it will probably be reliable. If you need a shuttle to or from your hotel afternoon, you might wait more than an hour. The hotels are as frustrated as the passengers!!! If at the airport waiting, it will probably fill up and passengers will be left behind. We were depending on the shuttle to get us back and forth, so we could access the light rail system for a four day visit. Due to the inconsistencies and lack of enough shuttles, we ended up taking taxis three times for an additional $200 on our travel expenses!!! read more

COMPLETE DISASTER! Settle in for this one... My friend and I were arriving late from Sacramento (and even later thanks to our flight delay) but I was assured by our nearby airport hotel that the free hotel shuttle ran until midnight so no problem at all. Well that turned out to be a giant bag of lies. When we got to the shuttle waiting spot there was a huge crowd about 50 people deep clamoring for a spot for this shuttle. Turns out it serves a half dozen of the nearby airport hotels but only sends a mini bus that seats a max of 12 people!! WTF? After waiting for over a half hour hoping that more shuttles were on the way it became clear this was going to be the worst sh*t show. And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse it actually turned violent. While waiting, I saw a Karen lose her sh*t because an old lady hopped in the front seat of the shuttle. The Karen thought the old lady had cut the nonexistent line (all I saw was a mob of pissed off people) so she proceeded to fly into a rage complete with screaming cursewords, kicking and punching the van. My friend tried to snap a video but thought twice because this Karen was certifiably bonkers and she was looking for a fight. After vacating the area in case sh*t went further south, my friend and I decided to just suck it up and drop $40 on an Uber because clearly this shuttle company does not give a hot damn about getting people to their hotels. If you're brave enough to book an airport hotel and they use this shuttle service consider yourself warned. read more

Western Shuttles - The scene right before things turned VIOLENT!!! - Transportation Near Me - Denver, Colorado

The owner of this company needs to take a serious look at vehicle maintenance. The main sliding doors on the vans in many of the shuttles I have been in do not have a inside door handle. The back doors the other night one of the vans would not close. The driver tried to slam it shut about 50 times before we left. One of the passengers as we were riding to the hotel said "wow if this thing get in an accident I don't think we will be able to get out!" Kind of true if non of the doors are working properly. Front row of one of their vans does not even have a receiving end or receptacle for the seat belt so its impossible to use it. I talked to a driver one night when the front end was vibrating and making grinding sounds and told him I had a similar issue on a truck before and it was probably the wheel hubs needed to be replaced. It is clear there is absolutely no preventive maintenance being done on these commercial vehicles. read more

these shuttles are small (unlike park DIA) especially an issue when you consider that they have a contract with the airlines (and some airline crew will be constantly showing with all the flights at DIA) and will prioritize the crew (fair enough.. we don't want pilots late but what about other paying customers that didn't know this at the time of booking?). This could have you wait 2-3 rounds (like in our case) or longer . Shuttle frequency is 30-60 minutes (per their print out). Drivers are less than systematic ... they could ask the longest waiting guest (first in the queue and first onboard and likely in first row) to get off for some last second crew show up (like in our case). Upon contacting the owner (Brittany /contact info provided by Marriott ..where we were going ) you will likely never hear from them still (like in our case). Overall not worth for us... we love the reasonable price and few minutes frequency of park DIA. Thought to give western shuttle a try but never again. If you do choose them please have plenty of time on hand since airline crew is constantly coming given their 30-60 minute frequency and only space for less than 12. Western shuttle- I think you should mention the airline crew priority and chance of 2-3 round wait on the booking site. Also mention more like 45-60 min frequency that depends on how many different hotel the shuttle has to go to. Paying customers have a right to know ahead of time that they will be waiting a while = plan for 2-3 hr wait to get from island 3 (airport's hotel pick up) to the hotel parking. So the customers like us with little kids aren't blindsided with this punishment that is western shuttle read more

I fly into DEN airport a lot. This shuttle is usually full. Last time we came in after waiting through 2 cycles we took a cab. Today the driver piled big suitcase on top of small bags that he was told contained laptops. He was rrude and a lead foot driver. Hotels please consider another service provider. This shuttle services 7 hotels so it might as well be the city bus. read more

I rode aboard Western Services last night and this morning to and from the Embassy Suites from the Denver airport. While the drivers both times were very friendly, I was shocked at this companies lack of policies in regards to COVID 19. There was no attempt to space out the bus or limit bus riders (it was packed at full 24 rider capacity), there are no extra cleaning procedures in place, nor any addressing of the onboard riders needing to keep masks on, etc. The bus was late both times, and at full capacity where riders were even left behind. I am not only posting this review but contacting Hilton as I think it's important they know. The Hilton brand has taken extensive cleaning procedures and health and safety modification. I know they too will be disappointed to find one of their vendors has thrown health and safety out the window in the season of a global pandemic. read more

I returned to DIA today, anxious to pick up my vehicle at the Baymont Hotel and get on the road. I called the Baymont desk at 9:52 a.m. to get the shuttle pick-up location. I was told to look for a "Western Shuttle" on Island #3. Check. A Western Shuttle pulled up a few minutes after I got to Island 3. The driver said she didn't go to the Baymont on her route, and that I should take the next shuttle after hers. A second Western Shuttle pulled up about 30 minutes later. This one said "Baymont" on the side. The driver said that he didn't go to the Baymont on his route, even though the side of his shuttle said "Baymont". He called the Western Shuttle dispatcher, who said that another shuttle would be along in 5 minutes. At 10:42 a.m., after waiting about 20 minutes for the shuttle that was due 15 minutes earlier, I called the Baymont desk again to see if I could get help from them. The clerk patched me through to the Western Shuttle dispatcher, who told me that he had a vehicle out of service, and that the shuttle I needed would arrive in about 10 minutes. As I was objectively reviewing the dispatcher's job performance for him on the phone (no cursing, just direct feedback), another Western Shuttle pulled up. The driver said that he didn't go to the Baymont on his route. I asked the dispatcher to give the shuttle driver instructions to take me to the Baymont. He refused. I hung up and considered my options. At 10:50 a.m., a Microtel shuttle pulled up. As the Microtel shuttle pulled away, I hailed the driver and explained my need for a ride to the Baymont. He obliged me and told me that he rescues people waiting for the Western Shuttle to the Baymont all the time. I got to the Baymont at 11:00 a.m., one hour and 8 minutes after first calling to get the shuttle pick-up location. A corner near the Baymont is a marshaling area for Western Shuttle vans. There were at least 5 vans there when I got to the Baymont, calling into question the validity of the excuse that I was given by the Western Shuttle dispatcher. I stopped at the Baymont desk to provide details of my shuttle experience and to request a refund of the $25 I had been charged for Baymont Fly & Park. The manager on duty, Angie, not being particularly interested in securing any of my future business, refused to refund more than $15. Never again. read more

The drivers need to learn which doors they're supposed to pick up from on the Western side of Denver Airport. The Atwell Hotel clearly states each time that they are supposed to park at door 510. But they don't cause reading numbers is hard. read more

If your driver's name is Rick I would recommend you do not get on the shuttle and just call a Uber or Lyft. I have never been treated so rudely and talked to so condescendingly. Even though I got on his shuttle at the airport and his shuttle was suppose to go to my hotel he refused to take me there without going back to the airport first because he did not remember me getting on his shuttle in the first place. I ended up walking 1/2 mile down Tower Rd ( with no sidewalk) to get to my hotel because I felt safer walking than riding alone in his shuttle with him. read more

Scheduled a pickup at our hotel today and Zandra was our shuttle driver. We were immediately greeted and Zandra took our bags. She engaged in conversation with us and we enjoyed laughs with her. She drove carefully and made sure we enjoyed our stay in DEN. I'm not sure when the Courtyard Denver Airport switched to Western Shuttles but they should go back to the old shuttle service. The driver picked up a few different couples at the airport and said "you can't sit in the front seat and you can only ride the shuttle if I authorize you to!". As he was loading the bags into the shuttle he yelled at everyone "BIG BAGS FIRST!". All the bags were loaded, and everyone was ready to go, the driver repeated all the hotels he was making drops at, he closed the door and started driving. While leaving the airport and after verifying everyone's hotel twice he started to reprimand a rider for being at the wrong pick up spot. I'm sorry, but you asked what hotel everyone was going to while loading the bags (BIG BAGS FIRST!) and again before driving away from the airport, and according to what you said earlier you apparently gave this rider your "authority" to get in the van. Dear Western Shuttle company the driver with the mustache needs to relax...a lot. read more
