Negative things: 1) My room had a single full-size bed and a tube television; however, I paid the same price for it as another brother did for a room with a full-size bed, a single bed, a mini refrigerator, a microwave, and a digital flat-screen TV. 2) Hot water availability was sub-par. If you stay here, be ready to take your shower early! 3) As specified below, Wi-Fi is free. However, it is weak and extremely unreliable. Be ready to try 4-5 times to get connected. Then, IF you get connected, be ready to prioritize your online tasks, because you'll lose the connection in about ten minutes. 4) Some things to which I am accustomed while traveling (e.g. an iron in the room) were not available. Others (e.g. shampoo & conditioner) were available upon request, which I found odd. Bottom line: This motel is a good option if your priorities are different than mine. I needed to still be able to work remotely, and was not able to do that. It was better than Motel 6, and less expensive. If you're on a tight budget, you could do worse. I do hope the owner works to improve the property; however, as someone who needs to work while on the road, I will likely not stay here again.

I honestly can't remember the last time I had a worse experience checking into a hotel. I've stayed at this hotel a couple times before when working in Limon and in my previous two experiences there was a really nice lady working the front desk. So just to be clear this review is solely for the miserable witch working tonight. Insanely bad attitude. The type of person who is so miserable that she has to make everyone around her miserable too. I had just come off a long, difficult 12-hr work day and had to endure this person's condescending BS. I told her I had a dog and politely asked if I could get a room on the first floor. She rudely told me that "ALL pet friendly rooms are on the first floor SIR!" With an emphasis on sir like it was meant to be an insult. I've stayed in many hotels where pets were allowed on all floors. But whatever. I brushed it off. I asked her if she might have a menu for the only nearby restaurant across the street, as hotels often do. Another extremely rude response. I was really tired so brushed it off again. I politely asked her if I could get two room keys. "I ALWAYS make two keys SIR!" I replied that I've been living on the road for two years and a lot of hotels only want to give a guest one key. She grumbles and then she actually proceeds to explain to me how to use a freaking hotel key! Like what?! Haha. "The key goes in the door upside down. This is why I put the keys in the envelope upside down so guests know how to use them." In this slow condescending voice while pointing to the key cards as if she's talking to a 5 year old. I'm like wtf?! Do you seriously feel the need to explain to guests how to use a simple key card? I mean the card has an arrow on it telling you which way to insert it. (See pic below). But this miserable wench only did it to try and make me feel stupid. And literally SECONDS after just telling her I've been living out of hotels for two years, including dozens of Quality Inns (no kidding). I wanted to cuss her out but didn't want to deal with having to book another hotel in the area because I knew she was hoping for a reaction so she could cancel my reservation. Then I'd be SOL because there's only one other hotel within a 60 mile radius that allows dogs. I was not going to give her that satisfaction so I just kept my mouth shut. Sorry about the long review but don't book here. If you don't have pets there are three other nicer hotels in the immediate area (oh yeah the rooms here are crappy, moldy and old af). I will never stay at this hotel again after my experience with this horrible person. I'll drive another two hours even after a 12-hr work day. No thanks
