If I could give this worthless company zero stars I would. My husband drove for them for nearly a month and only made 600. Now they are holding his last check. This is the absolute worst company. They don't care about their drivers . The drivers are the backbone of this company and they treat them like dirt. My advice find somewhere else to work. 1. We drove for them for 11 months truck 20013L. We were even driver of the month due to high mileage and earnings . 2. After finishing a priority load to Connecticut in hazardous winter weather that no one else would take, we were routed back to Texas. Then we were routed with a priority load to Loveland, Co. After picking the load up, we were told to route through Midlothian because we had issues with our radar and onboard camera. When we arrived, and I met with the Safety manager, Drew, who knew nothing about the radar or camera. He wanted to speak with me about following distance issues. I explained to him about our priority load to Loveland and asked if we could go ahead and review the videos. He immediately looked annoyed but pulled up the videos. He explained his side, and in each one I explained that I had a safe "out" if I needed to brake and change lanes. (I had to explain to him what "an out". Someone supervising safety should know that)The 3rd video, I was in the slow lane and he wanted to know why. I told him that I was exiting and in the process of slowing down. He explained that I had safety videos that I would need to complete before I would be allowed any more loads. I told him we would be completing the videos that night before I left the Midlothian yard. He looked annoyed again, and asked me to have a seat in the lobby while he made a phone call. He said that he would come get me when he was done. When we returned to his office, he introduced me to the Transportation manager of Texas. He then informed me Out of the blue that they were terminating my contract. I asked for what? He said " They felt it was necessary. ". I offered to drive the truck back to Ok City, to the main terminal. However, he said, " No, you are no longer contracted with WFX. ". We were forced to rent a van , which my wife went to pick up while I waited with the truck. They boxed the truck in with a service truck and another truck to make sure that I didn't leave. My wife and I unloaded truck, we redetailed the inside, the bunks, all the side boxes etc. We had just filled the tanks with fuel for the load to Loveland. We had just had the truck professionally cleaned to include the engine and all the rails by blue beacon since we had just come out of snow and ice. We have videos showing the condition. We checked the next week trying to get ahold of a VP in safety or, the Owner, and it took a MONTH of us continually trying before getting Shelly in safety. No one actually returned any of my calls. She informed me when asked why I was terminated that I did not answer Drew's questions properly (with the correct verbiage). She informed me that I would not be able to talk to anyone higher than her in Safety, would not be allowed a one on one with the Owner, and that the only way to reach the Owner was via text. That he does not take or return phone calls. I left him a very detailed text and never received a response. WFX kept my final settlement, and both maintenance accounts which I felt should have been returned to me. This amounted to between $12,000 and $15,000. This to me was a breach of contract on Wfx's part, and an unfair termination because I do not know what Drew said in that phone call, or to whom. This company charged me to Recover the truck from their own yard where they instructed me to leave it. And where, in fact, they seized the truck from me. They charged me for cleaning the truck, when it was already professionally cleaned. And they charged me for "reconditioning " the truck mechanically when it was in perfect condition and just had the full PM done. This is NOT a company that you want to work for and DEFINITELY NOT in the LEASE program. Do not fall for their promises of brand new shiny trucks. The bs in orientation with them bringing in all the "people " you can call if you have issues is strictly for show and tell. You can't speak with anyone unless they call you!! If you have a settlement issue, it takes weeks or months to get it solved. And if you don't catch it fast enough, boo hoo n you. You can't talk to management. I would advise my worst enemy to steer clear of WFX. And I challenge anyone with WFX to prove that this didn't happen to me, especially the owner of the company. This owner showed me that he truly does not care about the drivers of WFX. He only cares about the almighty dollar and what's in it for him. If he did, he would have returned my call. For a driver with my record, that's the least I deserved. Again, I emphasise, PLEASE DO NOT buy into their BS. You will only be disappointed and GIVE them your hard earned money if you enter the lease program. The only good thing I have to say about WFX was that I had a FABULOUS FM in Casey Warren. She was the only one who ever went to bat for me. And I appreciate greatly what she did. read more

Well let me say this, There are some people here that are just above and beyond. Like the old driver manager Anna. The changing managers and employees like they change there underwear is no bueno!. And then you get people that make you want to quit everyday because they are not equipped to be in the position they are and drop the ball and cost a driver 2 weeks pay . And the company never thinks of compensating the driver for there bad choice in employees . So again there is no integrity when it comes to there bread and butter ! THE DRIVER! But they want there drivers to pull rabbits out of hats and make a ETA that's not realistic. Come on WFX at least be one way and stuck to it! Wishey washey company. A couple of class action suites might straighten out this not so forthcoming, no core value company. Empty promises and not valuing there drivers . Now new company had to merged with! First let me start off my avoid this company at ALL cost! So July 24, 2018 Cameron was our dispatcher and he called my husband to see when was ready to get loaded and leave. Cameron said since we was switching back to dry van we had to sign a paper saying we switching back. My husband asked Cameron can he give us a big load to start the week before we just come straight to the terminal and Cameron said " You are going to do what I say or you can stay on the reefer side either way it's whatever" I got on the phone and asked Cameron who he was talking to like that and he then started trying to argue with me Cameron told me " I don't know why you are even on the phone talking when you are not even on the truck" I told Cameron first of all I am on the truck if you was doing your job you would see that! I told Cameron I did not want to talk to him any longer get me a supervisor. My husband asked me a question and I was talking to my husband and Cameron then say " But yet you are still running your mouth" and I told Cameron I asked you for a supervisor and I'm not talking to you I'm talking to my husband he was like but you still talking so I just kept repeating get me a supervisor! He came back and told my husband and I that it wasn't a supervisor available so I asked him to transfer me to HR. Now Latasha picks up the phone and asked me what happened I told her EVERYTHING! I asked her is there a way to get Randy the owner number because I want to ask him is this how your dispatchers talk t your drivers Latasha told me she couldn't give out his information but she will EMAIL Jeremy and Randy and have them call but neither one called. I told Latasha Cameron A** can say what he wants and think nobody is not going to say anything back. Latasha then said oh I don't like that Language pretending as if she has never heard the word before! Latasha then said she was going to hang up ok cool as she was hanging up or was suppose to have hung up I told my husband it's a lot of booty kissing going on! Carlene the Vp called me and asked what's going on I told him etc Carlen said oh well come to the terminal and we will all sit around the table and see what we can do about Cameron and his mouth. So we get the the terminal it is now July 25, 2018 and when we get there to sign the paper from Paula there was never no paper to sign Carlen called my husband and I out of Lisa office to Chris the safety guy office and they pretty much had already knew what they was going to do. When I told them what happen they had already took Cameron side. Here is the kicker Latasha and Cameron both wrote their side of the story and their story pretty much was the same that I cussed them out and used all times of bad language with them. And I told Chris the safety guy you can bring them in the room and have them repeat what was said because I definitely didn't cussed them out. But once again Chris from safety took Cameron and Latasha side. They told us to clean the truck out etc that it wasn't going to work out. And my husband got extremely mad because we was just in Vegas we could have cleaned the truck out then! They waited till we got all the way to Oklahoma to tell us to clean the truck out!!! We was able to get some of our stuff in a uber to go to my friends house and Jeremy told us he was going to put our stuff in the building so nobody messes with it! When we went back to get our stuff Jeremy LIED he left our stuff outside and everything was ruined the boxes was filled up with nothing but ANTS we couldn't take any of that stuff with us! By that goes to show you how much they care about the drivers! When it came time to get paid July 31, 2018 I called payroll to see what happened to our paycheck the lady tells me oh you guys are $-600 we have never been in the negative so how are we in the negative now! I called Jeremy to see what was going on and told him we needed our money so we can pay rent he told me we was going to see what was going on and call back! Jeremy NEVER called back and our rent never got paid! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS COMPANY! I am seeking a lawyer about the items that was destroyed and for the money they are not trying to pay us! An update so spoke with Jeremy who said we don't get no money at all and that they trespassing is from the company because we don't work for them! One of the worst scam companies out there. I was a lease Operator at the company twice there will not be a third time. When you first start they will give you a few good paychecks for the first couple months. After that you'll be struggling to make a good paycheck and only making enough to pay for their trucks the turnover rate is huge at Western Flyer Xpress for drivers because they do not care about you. The fleet managers are non-responsive to your needs and very difficult to get on the phone to explain the issues that you were having either with deliveries pick ups or truck issues. When I started with this company back in February 2021 my bank account had $13,000 in it it is now November 2021 in my bank account and is now depleted to zero because of expenses I've incurred on the road to just take care of myself because the paychecks started to become $300 $400 a week. I have been switched around driver managers three times and each promised me that they will do their best to make me over $2000 a week. That never happened my paycheck kept getting lower and lower and lower. They would run me over the mountains to California and keep me in California for three or four stops and then run back over the mountains Eastway to take all that load to somebody else and then run back over the mountains to California again and keep me out there again knowing that fuel prices are $4.80 per gallon. The brand new trucks that they give you have to be recalls or defective units that they sell for cheap I went through two brand new trucks each costing me valuable time and lost money either sitting around or taking their recovery loads which don't amount to much pay while the truck was in the shop being repaired. I have spoken with the vice president, Rob Newel about this issue and the leader of operations several times and they just blow smoke up your backside saying that they are going to talk to somebody about the issues and you never hear anything else about it and nothing changes. Now mind you I'm not a lazy person I've run my clock out every single day every single week and somehow my paycheck wasn't reflecting what I was actually making for the company because I'd either have to spend too much in fuel or there would be some kind of issue where they would put me off to the next day and I'd lose time or I would have to T call a load and lose miles or my truck was breaking down so it's not about me and what I was doing wrong it's about the company and what they were not doing about the issues that I was having for me not to me not to make a decent paycheck being an experienced over 20 year over the road driver. I tried reaching out to management and they shun me away and this is what they will do to you because they hire new drivers every single week their orientations are packed and that's just to refill the seats of the people that are quitting on them constantly because of poor management and leader ship and direction. I have sacrificed everything this year for this company my family my social life and my financial life only to end up with no gain in each of those categories. Please do yourself a favor do not put yourself in the situation that I have with this company you will end up losing your shirt off your back and they don't care. Also I grossed over $4900 the last week I worked $1800 of that was in fuel another 1200 for truck payment and maintenance costs and then a $900 recondition fee. They kept my thousand dollar paycheck I received nothing from my last week of pay they owe me money. They will not take my phone calls regarding the issue. They are very dirty company and if this is how Randy Tim's the owner of Western Flyer express runs his business then that should say a lot about the company itself. You've been warned! read more

I worked there for 13 weeks as a independent contractor then on 8/19 they terminated my contract because I wouldn't run the northeast. Then after they had me clean out the truck at the OKC yard in 115 degree weather with no A/C they wanted me to take a bus home that meant I couldn't get all my stuff on the bus so i had my wife drive down from Iowa to get me at 4:50pm i found out they put a 45 day hold on my last two settlements. I asked them do I need a attorney to get my money they said i wasn't getting paid till my attorney contacted there's. That's a bad way to do people so I'm getting an attorney. This company is a scam their GPS sucks my father-in-law was stuck at a restaurant all day long cause his truck got booted which is against the law in ga but they don't care. He asked them to help pay it. But they kept giving him the run around than he finally got the money himself luckily. Paid it than went somewhere to park for the night. Late that night they send a tow truck telling him that he has to get out of the truck which he has paid for through a lease agreement and can only get his stuff out of it the next day. So my father in-law was put out on the side of the road in the middle of the night and he got his stuff the next day and drove home cause they stole his truck from him. Well they said they had to recover it and charged him the exact amount he was suppose to get paid as the recovery cost. They are nothing but trash. He has the boot ticket and receipt from where he paid it. They don't care about their drivers. Trying to charge him recovery when they stole it from him in the middle of the night.
