We've gotten a basic exterior wash a couple of times and based on that, this place is okay by me. The car gets clean and they do a decent job of drying it off (we did have to remind them to dry the mirrors once to get the water off but they did it cheerfully). The basic wash is pretty cheap at $15 so throw in $5 for the tip and you can get the outside of your car done for $20 so that is reasonable to me. read more

We bought a monthly car wash contract for February and March. We live about 20 minutes drive. Once in February and twice in March on non-rainy days during business hours we went for a wash and they were closed. I called the guy to cancel the contract and his "excuse" was if they go by the forecast to determine opening. If there a little rain, they don't open. So it could be a light rain for an hour in the morning and sunny/clear late morning and all afternoon...CLOSED. So our $40 down the drain but smart enough now to NEVER use Panache again as they lack class, ethics and panache! I will add that the 3 times they were actually open and I got the car washed, the guys drying the car do the absolute bare minimum, zero effort. By the 3rd time, I stopped giving the usual $5 tip. No reason to bother, it doesn't affect the crap job. read more

Not worth the $30! Car is still dirty after leaving. What a waste! They rush right through the wash and quickly wipe your car down with dirty rags while still managing to miss a bunch of spots. No one here gives a crap about their job and it shows. read more

Bought the Platinum clean. The machine doesn't clean the car and the staff doesn't bother to inspect before releasing it as finished. The tires were smeared with shine on about 50% of the surface and the wheels weren't cleaned at all. The tech cleaned it after pointing out each place he missed (he didn't check it himself at all). The interior wasn't cleaned at all. Dust everywhere and they used dirty rags that left a whitish film on the leather dash. I asked if they'd clean the interior when I arrived and was told they wipe all interior surfaces. The manager expressed indifference when I went in to tell him i was disappointed and blamed the dirt for not cleaning it off. "That's not regular dirt" "You shouldn't be disappointed, he's cleaning it now..." Don't tecommmed unless you just get exterior rinse and have low standards. read more

They did a good job! Got a platinum wash and the car (which really needed it) is now pretty clean. Was really quick too (went Monday in the mid day). The register worker was friendly - the washers, pretty gruff, but it's cold today, I can understand. The only suggestion I would have is that it's not clear what happens when you're driving up, especially if you don't do car washes all the time. Would be nice to have a sign that says to drive the car up in the line until the people working greet you, and ask you what you want, or have someone greet straight away when you pull up. read more

Panache used to be my go to car wash if I wanted a really great job done both inside and out. Now that covid is under control I went to Panache to get our new car washed. I always purchase their best wash. What a mistake. This business has gone down hill big time. Been going for twenty plus years. No more "shop" which carried snacks, air fresheners and other items you would expect at a car wash. All gone! You pay at the entrance as the team starts working on your car. There is no way I received $29.00 of service. Windows covered with wet cloth marks, seats not done well and still had certain dirt spots outside. Panache in my opinion WAS the best car wash in Danbury. Not any more, don't waste your money. read more

The worst car wash ever! They basically run your car through the wash tunnel and that's it! Barely spend 5 mins to dry My car was wet, still dirty, nothing done to the inside. Do not bring your vehicle here unless you want it to be damaged and be accused of causing the damage. Have been a loyal customer and sang this businesses praises until today. Had my car washed and when they moved the seat to vacuum, they snapped the footlight wiring. I asked to speak with a manager and should have known how the conversation was going to go when the gentleman laughed. I explained the situation and he immediately went on a tirade about how I can't expect them to not move the seat when cleaning. I explained that wasn't my complaint, I expect the seat to be moved when they're cleaning. My problem was that when they did so, they snapped the wiring. He then told me no such thing happened, that it was installed improperly or I snapped it myself. The man was rude and dismissive the second I opened my mouth. He refused to take responsibility for damage that was done at his facility and continued to insinuate it was done elsewhere. I told the man when my car arrived the wire was intact and when it came out of the wash is wasn't....thus the damage was done by his facility. He continued to say that wasn't the case and I was trying to get money out of his business for damage done elsewhere. At this point I lost my temper and called him a piece of sh*t....not my finest moment....but don't accuse me of doing something that he needed to take responsibility for. I expressed that when employees mess up, I take responsibility for it because that's what a good business does. As I was walking out, he followed me continuing to yell at me. I would have been fine with an apology or admission of accidental wrong doing but to be accused of trying to swindle them for something they did?? Bring your car to Mobile 1 or some other carwash...this place has no dedication to their loyal clients and I'm sure this will continue to happen. read more

One of the worst car wash experiences with two cars. My husband and I took separate cars to get the high grade packages (27 and 35 cost), they rushed through the outside and didn't even clean the inside on EITHER car. Paid $21 for their Platinum wash but I only received $9.99 worth of services! Even though I paid for it they forgot the tires, wheels and floor mats. I've had better FREE washes that have come with a full tank of gas. DO NOT GO THERE! If they offered me 10 free washes to make up for this it wouldn't be worth it because all that would do is waste more of my valuable time. I guess the heavily made-up bimbo cashier is there as a distraction for bad service! She could have gotten up and cleaned my wheels, dressed my tires and finished vacuuming my car. I usually wash and clean my own car but its colder out now so I had my car washed there today. It wasnt cheap They fall way short on paying attention to the details. Windows all streaked, dust on the dashboard, rims still had brake dust on them after the wash. The two guys who run the place were there- its one thing to get the car washed. they need to tell their staff to start paying attention to the details. I hope they read this. read more

Oh how I miss LA car washes... the nose-tingling aroma of carnuba wax, dirty towels, and Armor All wafting through the air... the botox'd beauties waiting impatiently for their Benzs as they try to balance a cell phone, a Starbucks, and a shitzu... Such entertainment doesn't exist here at Panache, but I have to say that I was pleased with my car wash. As a former Angelino, I take car care very seriously and I have to say that while it isn't LA-worthy, Panache comes really close. For $15.50 I get the interior, exterior, and undercarriage cleaned. They missed a few spots here and there, but were happy to address them when I pointed them out. They also did a great job on my rims; I had almost forgotten they were silver. Save your money and go to another one a little further down the road. I took my car here to get an exterior car wash only on a Saturday morning about 30 minutes after they opened. I figured I'd better let their workers wake up a little and at the same time didn't want to wait in line for an hour so it was perfect. I waited about 5 minutes before my car was taken and the workers at the entrance were nice. I followed the car through, paid the girl at the register who was too busy talking on her phone to acknowledge me and waited outside for the car to be dried off. The car was dried in about 5 minutes but as I walked around the car it still seemed dirty. I rubbed my finger across the front bumper and it turned black. I rubbed another finger on a wheel well and it turned black again. I know it's only $12 but I figured they would at least get a majority of the dirt off. Nope. On to the next one. read more

There literally couldn;t be anythign worse than this car wash. i thought Ridgefield car was was bad. Holy crap. a) Overpriced. I paid $32 for their "super was" b) Crappy job. Car was dusty and dirty when I left. They shampooed the carpets and they were nice and clean, but that's it c) THEY BROKE EVERYTHING! Literally, they smashed my side mirror, broke the clasp that holds the drivers side mat in place, and put two HUGE scratches on the driver's side door. Didn;t mention a thing, but I know they knew about it because the peice they broke off the floor mat was in the cup holder, and someone had poorly tried to fix the side mirror with duct tape. SHOCKING mismanagement and lack of concern for their job or their customers. Avoid at all costs. read more

I am a tough critic of car washes, and Panache does a great job. Friendly guys who care and have respect for the cars, and pay attention to the details. The only thing i would say is that you get what you pay for; meaning, spend the extra few dollars and they will do a fantastic job, but if you're paying for just a wash, it'll be just a wash. read more

i really hate giving bad reviews. $40 car wash and i can't see out the windshield and there are stains and dust and dirt all over the car. they barely passed a cloth over it and then put armor all or some leather polish everywhere on top of dust! there's a spot on the plastic that seriously could have been fully removed with one or two more swipes of a rag! a disgrace and total waste of money. it's honestly disgusting. read more

I regret getting my car washed here. Not only did they not clean my car well but they left a horrible smell inside of it. I'm very frustrated that I paid for interior cleaning and as you can see in the pictures, it is not clean at all. The waiting room has one small couch where the employee had a dog sleeping. I am a 65 year old man, I stopped by to get a car wash my car sat in the sun waiting 15 minutes or more to be dried, spotting all the windows and chrome, I went inside and requested a 50 percent off and the man behind the counter YELLED what with a sarcastic laugh. Arrived at 5:55 PM. They close at 6 PM. Denied service as they said it was past 6 PM. Drove back around to office (took 1 minute). Showed cashier cell phone time it showed 5:56 PM. She showed me time on her computer which was at that time 6 PM. Since I am retired from a large computer manufacturer I told her that was an imputed time and not the correct time. Update on KevinA. who misses LA car washes. I am originally from LA, so I know LA car washes, and Panache is no LA car wash, not by a long shot, Mr. Quayle. Normally, I go to washes in Wilton and Ridgefield (still a far cry from LA), but just had my car "abused" by the Neanderthals at Panache. The brushes were dirty, the towels they used looked like oil rags. I asked them to armorall my tires per my payment and one "manager" kept relaying commands to the next peon down until my car was blocking an entire empty row where cars are brought out on cue. it took some time for the lowest in the food chain to crawl around the car with a single dirty sponge, scratching my wheels and trying to rub armorall into the rubber. I actually felt bad how raw his knuckles must be from dragging it around cars all day. When I tried complaining to someone in th office wearing a gold chain who I thought might be the owner, there were two other customers who found him first complaining about the lousy job on their cars. Overall, this is one business that i will never visit again. Clearly no one gives a sh*t about what they do and only want your money. Is there a negative star rating??? read more

Received 1 star because there wasn't an option for less Today was strike 3! I will never be back to this business! Strike 1 was a worker breaking a solar dancing plastic flower that was on my dashboard and not saying anything just jamming it back in the pot with hope's I didn't notice. Strike 2 was when a worker was drying my car lifted up my windshield wiper and broke it. He looked around pretended like he fixed it and walked away. I complained to the manager and after him telling me "it must have broken because the automatic wipers weren't turned off" and I told him that I watched the worker break it because I was standing there with my daughter he finally agreed to pay for the wiper after about 20 minutes. It's been about 6 months since I have been there and against my better judgement I brought my husbands car down there today simply because it needed to be vacuumed and I am a busy mom of two so I thought this would be easy/quicker than doing it myself. Boy, was I wrong. Although nothing was broken today (thankfully) the job they did was awful. The car has water spots all over it, the windows have streaks everywhere (so bad that I Windexed the windshield when I got home because I couldn't see with the sun glare and streaks) the rear floor mats, floor and back seat were not vacuumed, and the dashboard wasn't touched at all. I was charged $17.51 after taxes for this horrific service. I called and asked to speak to a manager and Ingela (that's what her name is on my receipt) told me to call back in 10 minutes because he was in the bathroom. I told her about the terrible service and she could care less. I asked her to pass on the message to the manager and she told me "No. Call back" This was the same person that as I walked up to pay she was too busy texting on her phone to even say hello. There are too many other places to get your car washed/vacuumed well besides dealing with Panache's employees that treat you like crap and to have your vehicle look the same, if not worse than when you arrived. #neveragain read more
