Great responsiveness by phone, e-mail, whatever. As much as I like to do things for myself (like adding a car, or reporting mileage on a vehicle using the State Farm website), the personal touch and assurance of things getting done (right) by making a simple phone call to their office is actually easier. And for a whole month, he kept trying to find something that would work for us -- and what I loved is that Travis would always give me an opinion if I asked for it. He's not afraid to take a stand which was hugely helpful in our search. The next morning, I uploaded over 20 separate digital files and dashcam video metadata assets straight into their mobile application. From that very first hour, the company systematically glitched and locked my mobile app dashboard with scheduling errors, explicitly lying to me on screen that my policy didn't carry rental reimbursement benefits--even though my paid premium declarations show I contractually fund active rental coverage every single month. THE 19-MINUTE TRAP & THE SILENT HOLD A claims adjuster sent a vague email demanding a "declarations page" without any written explanation of why it was required or what timeframe they meant. I called back exactly 19 minutes later to clarify, only to find out a back-end investigator had quietly slapped a hidden "fraud flag" on my file, entirely freezing the claim without giving me any written notice, email, or direct contact. Frontline staff verbally assured me on a recorded line that providing a prior insurance page was just a minor check to verify there weren't duplicate open claims. I transparently complied but immediately followed up in writing on the file stating I was entirely uncomfortable with a past carrier being informed as it was none of their business. THE OUT-OF-SCOPE PRIVACY BREACH This company willfully overrode my explicit written directives, breached my consumer data privacy boundaries, and aggressively contacted my previous insurer against my express wishes to probe into historic, unrelated contracts. They attempted to use a brief transitional gap from a separate contract period to paint a legitimate comprehensive loss as fraudulent, looking for any desperate excuse to evade their coverage obligations. RUSHED RETALIATION AS A PUNISHMENT The moment I stood my ground to defend my data privacy and escalated this misconduct to corporate offices, they retaliated. Less than 24 hours after my grievance was logged, senior claims management rushed out a pre-determined, punitive notice slapping an "at-fault collision" mark on my profile. To manufacture this denial, they completely falsified the record: * They claimed I simply "left the scene" to evade liability, entirely erasing my emergency safety maneuver out of active traffic. * They claimed no police response was made to the scene, deliberately twisting my words to ignore that an officer contacted me via phone to follow up and document the hazard. * They declared me at fault for "failing to maintain a safe speed," despite their own investigators verifying through local police dispatch logs that the road obstruction existed exactly when and where I struck it. They will happily collect your high premiums, bury your digital evidence, ignore official municipal public records, and allow back-end investigators to lock your files silently without due process. They are manipulating joint account data to conceal active rental benefits, and fabricating a false driving record solely to build a pretext to spike premium rates on the next renewal cycle.
