I started going to this office about 12 years. Dr. Evans is one of the nicest, knowledgeable, and…read morepatient specialists I've ever encountered. She has taken the time to answer all of my questions despite how busy she may be. I've also found the receptionists there to be polite each time I've spoken to them. Dr. Evans' website is also easy to navigate. Overall I believe dermatology offices can become quite busy since they not only conduct assessments but have to perform lengthy procedures depending on their patients' needs. I just came back from a facial with Carmen, who works with Dr. Evans. Her technique and room is kept neat and clean. I felt nurtured and relaxed from my treatment. I believe she has been in this line of work for 35 years. It was nice that throughout the facial she asked if I was comfortable. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that while I was waiting for my face mask to dry, I also received a lovely foot treatment as well. I highly recommend Carmen.

This will be a page turner…read more First a synopsis: My first visit to this hospital, to see a patient. Everything I encountered left me impressed! Over the course of several decades; I visited dozens of people, in almost as many Hospitals. So I can confidently write this review based on actual experience and not emotion. From the moment you arrive on the property you'll notice it's well laid out in a logical and convenient manner for visitors, usually family, who are already stressed. There's plenty of free parking near the several entrances. The Security Dept personnel are extremely courteous, professional, and reassuring; explaining procedures and giving directions to the various locations, in a very pleasant manner. The staff at the Nurse's Station acknowledge you when you arrive. Unlike many places, where you could stand there indefinitely while they stare at their computer monitors; without the slightest inkling of proper guest relations. IF, it was the other way around I'm certain these same people would be raging "Karen's"! The food service Dept. delivers meals that are on par with a four star hotel restaurant . There are actual ceramic dishes, no plastic plates or styrofoam glasses, knives and forks like a real restaurant, again no plastic sporks. The tray is artistically set, as opposed to haphazardly arranged. They realize that when you are in the hospital, there's not much else to do; so food is one of those things you can actually look forward to and enjoy. So, after a few visits; I can say everyone I've encountered has been exceptionally professional, helpful, and courteous. It's reflected in the quality of care they provide in every aspect of the Hospital's operation.

I've been to at least three other White Plains Hospital Physicians Associates in Westchester. The…read more222 Westchester Ave location however, is in my favor especially since my knee orthopedist holds an office here. To add, when I had a torn meniscus surgery in late June, it was done at the Ambulatory Surgery Center feet away- on 226 Westchester Ave. The 222 Westchester location sits on I-287 with easy-access arrows from a distance leading you to their parking lot. Really do pay attention to the arrows- because they will lead you to the left side- not the right. Plus if you're seeing any of the orthopedics at 222, their main entrance is in the back. Since my initial January visit to now- for my wellness follow-ups after my surgery- I've never felt out of sorts. The waiting area gives you a nice first impression with contemporary neutral-colored walls, a pleasant ambiance, functionality and an easy flow. Chairs are sturdy- but comfortable and lighting has a nice glow. The 222 location works for me- as well as the others I've visited. Im extremely happy with my orthopedist. He's answered all my questions and is highly caring about how I've been healing.
