I really appreciate the staff who are welcoming and accommodating with my school schedule. The gym is super clean and has everything you need. I can agree with others that it does get busy at peak times and yeah other gym goers can be annoying.... but that's honestly going to be found at every gym! I feel like this gym is super inclusive to people's different level of experience and desired fitness goals. Vasa definitely felt overpriced, overcrowded, and had a worse culture (in my opinion) than Chuze. Highly recommend!!

So frustrating. They have overhead music playing at a level where you can basically ignore it or…read morelisten to your own or still talk to someone - which is GREAT. BUT - sometimes they have classes going on with rough music playing and the instructor yelling at/to the participants and this noise blasts through the entire gym. People complain but they do not care and they don't do anything about it. It's a very loud, unpleasant environment to be subjected to. I just want to work out and get some centered energy but WOW - this door open, instructor yelling, awful music, all competing with the other music is just a chaotic, unpleasant, noisy environment. Recently, my mom stopped in for her work out and couldn't even take it and just left.

I was referred here by my long time person family doctor, and I've been training here twice a week…read moresince January, so 6 months at this writing. I like the trainers and their motivating, can do attitudes. They pay attention to your needs including injuries or limitations that you may have. The class sizes are good, and the variety in the work outs is unbeatable. While I may see exercises repeat throughout the weeks it's never so much that I expect it or come to know the routine. The equipment is well maintained and organized. The shower rooms and restrooms are clean and well stocked. Most of all I've seen results!!! Inches off in just a few months and so much better conditioning. My outdoor running has improved in speed and distance and I feel great. And I have not seen any plateauing- whenever you improve you are able to challenge yourself in class to keep the workout intensity. I highly recommend this gym. I know it is more pricey than others but you get what you pay for...in this case the care of a personal trainer in a group led high intensity interval workout with serious results!

Some of this feedback is time sensitive due to COVID: The…read moretoughest thing about doing a class here are the masks. It's hard to hear/understand what the instructor is saying because of the masks. Additionally, because of the masks, it is hard to focus on listening. My neighbor suggested I go at a time when you had to wear masks in the gym but not during the workout. This changed when I went to my class and masks were/are being required during the workout. Towards the end of the class, Courtney, the instructor was on her phone for a few minutes and seemed distracted. The instructor spoke very quickly during the class and it was hard to keep up because the orientation to how everything worked seemed more sales focus than making sure I knew what was happening. They have you fill out a prying questionnaire before the class about "How much money are you willing to spend on your goal?" and other intrusive questions. After the class, I let them know that I wouldn't be interested in signing up for anything while masks are required. It's too distracting for me. During the class, they did imply that being distracted by the masks was an excuse. I asked to be removed from future communication twice already. I just received another pushy text this morning. I'm concerned these people do not have any boundaries. I understand the nature of businesses and sales cycles, but, it seems overpriced and they don't listen.

The place was way too crowded, so I joined anytime fitness. And it's probably the best gym I've ever worked out in. I am highly disappointed with my experience at this gym. Management explicitly asked for feedback,…read morebut when I provided constructive input, they immediately canceled my membership instead of addressing the issues. When we tried to resolve this, the owner, Sage, called me a liar, hung up the phone on us, and completely refused to have a sit-down meeting to discuss the situation. The facilities are poorly maintained. The equipment is consistently dirty and dusty, the Wi-Fi rarely works, and there are only four stretching mats available for the entire gym. I have also noticed bugs on the carpeted areas. The bathrooms are equally neglected. The women's restroom has been out of toilet paper for days at a time and is frequently dirty. To make matters worse, the owners are never present to assist members or manage these ongoing issues. I do not recommend this gym. The ownership handles customer feedback with hostility and fails to maintain basic cleanliness and amenities.

By far the best decision I've made in years was signing up for a membership with Koko. A friend of…read moremine had been telling me about it for months, and finally I decided to try it out. I've tried memberships with regular gyms before, but I would never know quite what to do with the machines or how much of which exercise to do. Koko takes all of the guess-work out of getting in shape. Truly, all you have to do is show up, and they take care of the rest. You complete a strength assessment every 12 workouts so that the chosen weights and exercises stay relevant to help avoid plateaus, creating a completely custom experience for everyone. You don't waste any time moving from machine to machine to perform different exercises because it's all contained in a single machine with a screen that guides you in what to do and how to do it. It's like having my own personal trainer any time of day or night (one that I can get mad at, and it won't be offended). They have small ways of recognizing members when they achieve something special, but these small ways go a LONG way in terms of motivation and gaining a sense of accomplishment. I have only been going for 4 months, but I have taken progress photos, and I can definitely see a change. They also create a custom food plan if you are able to stick to it (I'm kind of a slacker in that area, but I try). If you're like me in that you would rather be told what to do than be responsible for coming up with different workouts for yourself, Koko is where it's at. I can't say enough nice things about Alex, the owner, who has helped me tremendously, as well as Brooke, Gretchen, and Sharon, the Fitcoaches there. I am a believer in their mission and this amazing new approach to getting (and staying) healthy. Thank you, Koko FitClub!

They have machines that track your progress and customize your weights to maximize the workout. My wife says she's noticed the difference.
