I lost of week of work unpaid due to this and the unit was still filthy, dangerous, and literally falling apart. A closet door fell on me, I got stabbed by a nail coming out of a hole in a wall, the flooring came up under my foot with fresh glue, the refrigerator had a dead bug and was dirty.... walls dirty, holes in doors, unfinished everything. I do not feel safe here and if a manager would present a unit in this order, its safe to say I should watch my back because she has no regard for me, my child or my pets. When I asked for the number to corporate, the manager told me to Google it and went in her office. I called over twenty times and only got a call back when I told them I was calling the City of Yuma, Dept of Housing and the AGs office. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The manager also tried to gaslight me and blame me for her not being good at her job and prepared after having two additional weeks to get this "corporate unit" together. She never once apologized and did not look at me or speak to me the day of move in, yesterday. And I know why. She was dead wrong and I feel it was purposely done. I feel violated!

If I was the owner of this place I be pist.. The shootings here two ppl have been killed an one I'm not sure of. Drug dealing I've seen, cops everyday, every morning.. Close to many amenities, (Zillow rates the neighborhood as 76% walkable); A couple blocks to Sanguinetti Park, churches and schools, 2 blocks to grocery store (Frys), short walk to several restaurants and fast food. The bus stop is next to complex for southbound and just across the street for northbound . Good mix of young couples, singles and seniors. Families with children are positioned on the opposite side of the complex. A big PLUS for me was no bugs! I haven' t seen any; no spiders, no roaches, nada. Huge kudos to management for cleanliness. Negatives: A little noisy during early morning and evening, but, the complex is on a main thoroughfare and we're all getting ready for, or coming home from work or school. Mostly it's quiet except for the occasional splashing of the pool and after 7-8 pm it's totally peaceful. Summary: I first arrived in Yuma and was looking for a modest apartment. The ones viewed prior to Rainbow Apartments were unkempt and/or unsafe, not close to many stores and shops or just too expensive. Rainbow is gated and the grounds are tidy. The current manager Conrad and his staff are friendly and personable. If you're new to Yuma, spending the winter here or just want a new apartment, give Rainbow Apartments a try.

There are feral cats and seemingly feral children running around. Most everything was in poor condition. A little background: Yuma is a dump (and I have family from there). The YPG & Marine Air Base, along with the transient field workers and masses of snowbirds leave this city with NO ONE who wants to pay taxes to make the city better... so property is cheap and rent is high (because--again--no one really wants to live or stay in Yuma so rentals are in demand and waaaaay to expensive for the crappy town). Instead of being happy I get depressed every time I get home looking at the color of the building and the common areas. The common areas are never cleaned, they are dirty, the floors are sticky. The constant 420 cloud makes me afraid that I am going to get fired from my job. Everything reeks here. Ppl that live here, including kids, are high all the time from the cloud wanted or not. Right now the 420 smell is so strong that our stomachs are upset and our eyes are burning. And the apts inside, ufff, horrible, they reek they are in bad condition and they are ugly. They have a non smoking policy but they do not enforce it. Maintenance and management is either condescending or unreliable. In other words, management either treat you like trash or they promise to do things and don't do them. Is not only here is the whole company. Is because they have several complexes and this one is the lower end, they treat you like you are lower end and focus on their expensive complexes. Everything is peaches and cream when you sign the contract but when you actually move you get hit with the reality man. You are in no- man's land and you are on your own. Because you could not pay for more they treat you like if you have no dignity and welcome undesirable ppl, making this place ghetto land. Do not bring your beautiful wife or kids or grandma here.
