Issues with West Texas pools and spas were numerous and egregious. Beyond the consistent lack of communication, which has sat at the crux of their customer service issues, there have also been numerous issues including 1. Inability to properly chemically dose my pool 2. Lack of regular servicing as agreed upon 3. Strong reticence to accommodate reimbursement requests. Their three prominent shortfalls in pool maintenance form what I consider an "unholy trinity" of pool maintenance servicing. I would not recommend them to anyone except my worst enemies. read more

Very friendly folks! Bobby runs a good crew, they drive to take good care of you. Got tired of the run around at the other pool places, "we can get to you in a couple of weeks...." That just doesn't hack it with your pool in need. West Texas pool is on it, in a heart beat. Fast service, plenty of stock, we got our new spa there. Got it with a cover assist. In West Texas winds, it is the only way to go!! Love their products, love the service and rest assured, they all know what they are doing with your pool and spa! Worst customer experience I have ever had!!! We are going to be putting a pool in and scheduled for a Bobby to come out I took the evening off specifically to meet with him. Had this appointment scheduled 2weeks ago and he did not come or call to say he was not coming, and when you call the company at 5:01 when it says they are open till 5:30 no one answers. Scheduled west texas to come take care of our pool while we were still living out of state. Was never too sure if they actually showed up as often as they said they were. We kept them on for 2 or 3 months after we moved in as well and was super unimpressed. Couldn't stay on a schedule or would just skip weeks altogether. My pool ended up getting a bunch of algae under their care. They did give me shock to make up for that and the guy who showed up was nice. Just doesn't make up for all the downfalls and the $240 a month it cost us. They should have just closed the pool (we didn't know that was a thing till recently) it's not like we were swimming in it in November anyways. read more

They serviced our backyard pool for years and also replaced the liner in our inground pool Always a pleasure to work with... When my inlaws passed away, we were charged with redoing their pool. It was an indoor lap pool with spa in one end It had to be completely resurfaced and new equipment added. Their work was awesome!! I'm convinced it SOLD the house and property! Dropped a part off and after two weeks and 3 visits never received the promised phone call so I went in again. "Dan " complained how no one told him and went and retrieved the part. He looked up the part and quoted $280! I had already bought the same part before for $25 so I knew that was too high. I asked if he was sure and replied " that's what it is." I found the same part online with shipping for $30. Slow, rude, and way overprice is not a way to run a business. read more

I purchased a pool from this company 6/2018 worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I paid 285.00 to have my pool closed up for winter, and they didn't even clean it out before putting a tarp on it. Then when I made an appointment for them to come out an open it up for summer, they sent two guys out a month ahead of time to just pull off the tarp. Not set it up!! rained for three weeks and pool was green, then I was asked to pick up a pump and empty the pool down to 24 inches, I took it down to 20" and they came back out put hoses on and didn't tighten them, left bolts sticking up in the ladder, then when I called and asked if they where coming back to finish up. Bobby told Daniel is not coming back out, and we don't service out of Abilene Pools. My question was why didn't you tell me this when I purchased the pool, and I would NOT have purchased from you. I just hope I can save someone from going thru what I have. sad! I think this young couple Bobby and Andrea must have inherited this business, and they are not good at it. I don't like having to say this, but my experience with this company hasn't been positive. We placed a $500 non-refundable deposit on an above ground pool in April. I was told the installer would be calling me within two weeks. Never happened. I continued to call every week or two for updates but was either brushed off the phone quickly as if they didn't want to speak to me--or had no time to---or told they were behind due to rain. I was always told the installer would call me in a week or two--which has never happened once in two months. The last call I had, the young lady on the phone told me rudely, "Well, I don't know what to tell you," before handing me to another sales associate who advised I call the installer myself---and I'd never been given the installer's number before this point. I get the impression that customer service is not a priority. I now know why the deposit is non-refundable--because no matter what happens or doesn't happen, they have that money. I am hoping someone will make this right, as I've been very patient and understanding of their being behind. Things happen. But communication-- along with a little kindness, goes a long way. This is to be our first pool purchase, and we were very excited, but this has put a bit of a damper on things. read more
