Schedule fewer people, should never wait 3 hours to see a Dr after making an appointment and showing up on time.

Dr. Jay Bradley and his associates have treated me like family for the last year. Not only is Dr…read more Bradley my ophthalmologist, but I visit the Aesthetic Center routinely for Skin Pen and botox treatments. With as much as I work, I enjoy spending my days off getting these treatments since the girls in the aesthetic center are so personable and fun to visit with. Furthermore, the entire staff is accomodating, and really bend over backwards for their patients. I was very excited when I learned the office made upgrades to start accepting American Express, which my husband and I really appreciated. I couldn't be more happy with the care I receive at West Texas Eye Associates.

Watch them on their estimates for services, question it all. They do some really bad math or are just plain deceptive. Now, for the Doctors and staff in the back. I have good experiences with them, all are professional and answer any question you have without being condescending. Very good at explaining things and helping you understand. Have seen two doctors here both with excellent bedside manner. If my rating was based on experience with them only. It would be 5 stars. They need to clean house in the business office and hire competent people. I spoke briefly with the office manager on my issues. All she could do was make excuses for her people. Not one apology that I spent about 5 hours total morning and afternoon in their office due to their incompetence. She claimed they couldn't get through to my insurance. Funny that in between my visits that day I called my insurance. I talked to a real person within one minute of calling. Minimal to no hold after getting through the automated system. But yet they couldn't get them. More excuses.

I am a patient at this clinic and generally have positive experiences with my doctor, whom I…read morerespect and trust. However, I recently had a phone call with a member of the chronic care team that I found unprofessional and upsetting. The call was intended to be a routine health check-in, but the conversation quickly became judgmental and dismissive regarding my circumstances. I explained that I had moved an extended distance due to factors outside of my control, which has made it more difficult to access specialists. Instead of focusing on my care or offering solutions, I was told that people should make housing decisions based on proximity to medical care. This felt like blame rather than support. I also discussed that I sometimes use AI tools to help me organize health-related information and prepare questions for my doctor so I can better advocate for myself. I was told that using AI in this way is "dangerous," without any meaningful explanation or discussion, which felt dismissive rather than informative or professional. Most concerning, the conversation included an unsolicited reference to religion (specifically God) that was not relevant to my medical care. I immediately made it clear that I do not share those beliefs and did not wish to discuss religion in a healthcare context. Instead of acknowledging this boundary, the nurse doubled down, scoffed in response and stated "well, that's your belief". I found this highly inappropriate and disrespectful in a medical setting, particularly during a health-related call where religion had no relevance. Overall, the tone of the interaction felt condescending and dismissive rather than supportive or patient-centered. I left the call feeling talked down to rather than listened to. I want to be clear that this feedback is not about my physician, who I continue to trust and appreciate. It is specifically about this interaction with the chronic care staff member, which did not reflect the standard of care I expect from the practice.
