I brought a skid steer in to have some hydraulic hose to be changed. They had my machine for a week, they got it on Monday but didn't start working on it until Tuesday. when I went to pick it up they asked me if I wanted to leave a credit card number and I could be on my way. I said no give me the bill so I wait for a little bit then I get the bill. The price was so outrageous we argued for quite some time, I managed to get the price down a little but still to much. The mechanics were good but the owner is a bit of a cheat. All I can say is I will never go back again. read more

My truck lost engine power, West Tech Mobile diagnosed valves leaks. After performing valve adjustment engine power came back. Thank you West Tech Mobile. read more

We have all of the up-to-date technology to scan your units and we can even set up programs to help with your business' fleet.

History

Established in 2000.

West Tech Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair started back in the year 2000 with just a single truck and we began providing heavy-duty mobile service for trucks and trailers. We also handled repairs for them as well as for diesel pickups, forklifts, and much more heavy-duty equipment. By 2004 we had expanded with an additional service truck and our very own shop. Providing more services now to oil field customers and southern Alberta clients. As our name and reputation spread across southern Alberta, we were able to once again expand from 2005-2007 and had to get an even larger shop with more room in the bay to handle all of our loyal customers' needs. Picture Our great customers helped us so much that when many were losing business in 2008 and 2009, we actually continued to grow through that recession. 2010 was a big year for us as that was the year we bought our own shop in the southeast of Calgary. Since we purchased our own shop we have expanded one more time in a major way.

I'm a business owner and also an Engineer. Over the years I've collected a great team of long-term employees that are highly capable of handling anything we can throw at them. I've ensured that all of our staff have WHMIS training and we always have a first aid personnel on every shift. Been working with these fellows for a bit now and they are on point. I have had 3 of my trucks…read morethrough there and no big bills. Proper assessments, quality work and no BS. They are the type of company that prefers to be honest over scoring big contracts and here is the proof: I have 4 trucks, and I bought a 5th from a guy who has 90 trucks. The guy I was purchasing from is always looking for good mechanics, for obvious reasons (90 trucks?) There is good reason for a mechanic to kiss a guys ass that has 90 trucks. They could basically run at least half the entire shop just for the one client. Anyways, there was a problem with the truck and they chose to inform me and the guy who was selling that it could be very costly in repairs over the next 2 years, and maybe I shouldn't purchase it. The owner was pissed off, and I believe the exact words out of his mouth were, "I don't think these guys know what they are doing." After a few days and myself convincing him of how being honest in that situation could really hurt them considered the value of his business. He calmed down and realized that the guys were just being honest. Good start with us. Will update ya'll as we go!
