We split a bag of chips and then headed over to what can only be described as the soft drink fountain of magic. If you know, you know. I built a completely unnecessary but extremely satisfying blend of lemonades that probably shouldn't work together but somehow does. And honestly? The food was good. Not "good for a gas station." Just good. It was early-ish but I was the only car at the pumps. This station is located on University Dr and Westview not too out of the way, the lot was clean, and there was no wait. They have a food mart, but I didn't go in, I just needed gas. I did notice that prices were a few cents more than Mobil, no biggie, just an observation. I would just come in for coffee in the morning even if I did not need to gas my car. It was that good, they also had great drink specials as well which I also used to come by just to get it. Their gas prices are fair though. I was in the area and needed gas so I came down memory lane and use this gas station. I also came in to get pick up a coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised by updated machines they have. You will never ever get cold coffee from here, as each cup is made individually to order. It is a little high tech and the clerk have to show me how to use it but after I got the hang of it (after two failed attempts) I had the best gas station cup of coffee I remember having in a very long time. Yes and that includes Wawa. This area in North Lauderdale is getting a lot of love. A lot of stores have opened including a super Walmart over the last few years, and a brand new plaza has surfaced as well. It is becoming quite the little commercial center. The grounds leading up to the front door of the convenience store was filthy (see pic), although the interior was clean and stocked well with goodies and quick pick up items.
