By about 9:00 p.m., gas stations in our area were already raising their prices. I couldn't believe it! I thought, 'What! Let me drive around and fill up where it's still under $2.' Sure enough, this Chevron close to home was selling at $1.79 a gallon for high-qregular unleaded; so, I pumped it up to Full! The station was pretty busy too, with cars lined up at the Car Wash, one customer vacuuming his car, and most of the pumps taken by customers who like me, were using the low-price opportunity. I drove away happy and comforted in knowing that even in perilous, uncertain times, there are still a lot of good business owners who are not trying to take advantage of the consumers. So I prefer going to this location instead. There's been a woman there everytime I've gone and she's always been friendly and helpful. Because of it's size, it can be a bit difficult to navigate around the store, especially with stuff in the isles. There's been times I wanted something, or to look at something but couldn't get to it because there were boxes of inventory in the way and I didn't want to ask them to move it. The prices match other stores and it looks like they have different sales from time to time. Nice little spot to go to if you're local.

I'd call it more of a convenience store even though at that it seems to offer less than a 7-Eleven. It's also rather messy with clutter along the aisles, not particularly clean and with some of the aisles blocked off by people sitting around in chairs talking, which is something I've never seen before in any sort of market. Also the customers were, and this is just my impression, didn't exactly look like the type you'd want to meet up with in a dark alley at night.
